Abstract

The low concentration of student learning is caused by the inaccuracy of the learning method used by the teacher when delivering material. The purpose of this study was to increase the learning concentration of class III students at SDN 04 Dongos through the use of the Ice Breaking-based Joyful Learning method on flat shapes. This research is included in quantitative research with the type of experimental research with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations and interviews. The results to be achieved in this study are the use of the joyful learning method based on ice breaking in learning to increase student learning concentration.

Abstract

Perubahan iklim merupakan berubahnya suhu rata-rata permukaan bumi yang diakibatkan oleh pelepasan gas rumah kaca dengan jumlah besar yang tertangkap di atmosfer. Sampah merupakan salah satu penyumbang emisi terbesar dari gas metana (CH4) yang dihasilkan akibat tumpukan sampah terbuka dan sampah yang dibakar juga akan menghasilkan gas karbondioksida (CO2). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi program ekobrik dalam kegiatan Kampus Mengajar di SDN 1 Pecangaan sebagai upaya edukatif dalam mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif pendekatan fenomenologi dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan stakeholder internal (kepala sekolah dan guru) serta eksternal (PT Marimas) berperan penting dalam pelaksanaan program, meskipun masih terdapat keterbatasan teknis dan waktu. Kegiatan ekobrik berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa dan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah plastik serta mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim dalam skala mikro. Namun, belum adanya kejelasan mengenai keberlanjutan program menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kolaborasi lintas sektor dan integrasi program ke dalam kurikulum sebagai strategi untuk menjamin keberlanjutan dan efektivitas pendidikan lingkungan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is an instructional model that involves students directly in project activities. Through these projects, students become more active and engaged in the learning process compared to conventional models, ultimately contributing to improved understanding and memory retention. This study aims to analyze the effect of PjBL on fourth-grade students’ understanding of cultural diversity at SD Negeri 2 Sukodono. A quantitative approach with pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest structure was employed. Data were collected from 42 students using a validated multiple-choice test administered before and after the PjBL intervention. Results revealed a statistically significant improvement in students’ understanding of cultural diversity at SDN 2 Sukodono. The paired-samples t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), leading to rejection of the null hypothesis (H₀) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ). The class mean score rose substantially from 71.86 (pretest) to 90.62 (posttest). These findings confirm that the Project-Based Learning model is highly effective in enhancing cognitive mastery of cultural diversity content (traditional musical instruments, regional attire, and customary houses) among elementary students, thereby supporting its wider adoption in Pancasila and civic education curricula.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the traditional game Sapintrong, based on local wisdom, on strengthening the character of global diversity among third-grade students at SDN 04 Panggang. The research employs a quantitative approach with a true experimental design of the randomized control group type. The research subjects consist of 63 students, comprising 32 students in the experimental class and 31 students in the control class. The research instrument is a questionnaire developed based on four elements of global diversity, including recognizing and appreciating culture, intercultural communication and interaction, reflection and responsibility toward diversity experiences, and social justice. The research results show a significant in the experimental class, with the average score rising from 50.9 to 82.3, or by 61.7%, while the control class experienced a decrease of 0.27%. the t-test indicates a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning there is a significant influence of the Sapintrong game on strengthening the character of global diversity. These findings affirm that traditional games can function not only as entertainment but also as an effective learning medium for instilling the values of the pancasila student profile, particularly the dimension of global diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between social behavior and learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject among fifth-grade students of MI Miftahul Falah Banyumanis Jepara in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population as well as the research sample consisted of 26 students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data on social behavior were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire covering the dimensions of cooperation, tolerance, empathy, and social communication, while data on IPAS learning outcomes were obtained from students’ report card records. Data analysis included descriptive statistics and Spearman’s rho correlation test. The results showed that students’ social behavior was predominantly in the high and very high categories, whereas IPAS learning outcomes were mainly in the high category. The Spearman’s rho correlation analysis yielded a coefficient of 0.997 with a significance level of p < 0.001, indicating a very strong and statistically significant positive relationship between social behavior and IPAS learning outcomes. These findings suggest that the better the students’ social behavior, the higher the IPAS learning outcomes they achieve.
