Abstract

Abstrak: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan  dari penelitian  ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik dengan menerapkan model Discovery Learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Presentase kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori sangat tinggi, tinggi dan sedang pada siklus I adalah 30%, meningkat di siklus II menjadi 82%. Ketercapaian ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus adalah 38%, meningkat di siklus I menjadi 68%, kembali mengalami peningkatan di siklus II menjadi 85%. Abstract: This type of research was the classroom action research. The aims of the research were to improve the critical thinking skill and learning outcomes of the students in thematic learning by applaying Discovery Learning model. The research showed that by applying Discovery Learning Model can improve the critical thinking skill and learning outcomes of the students. Precentage of critical thinking skill in very high and moderate category, in cycle I was 30%, and increased in cycle II 82%. The achievement of students learning completeness at pre-cycle was 38%, increasing in cycle I to 68%, increasing again in cycle II to 85%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Think Pair Share (TPS) to compare which one the effective model in terms of learning outcomes. This study consisted of two stages, namely pre-test and post-test. The pre-test phase was carried out to find out the Mathematics learning outcomes before treatment for homogeneity tests and normality tests a reference for testing hypotheses, while post-tests were conducted to find out the learning outcomes data after treatment. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD N 1 Wulung District of Randublatung, Blora Regency. To help with the processing of data, researchers used the help of SPSS version 16. Based on the results of this study it was found that the use of NHT learning model was more effective than TPS in terms of Mathematics learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of data obtained by the results that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.029 then 0.029 5 0.05 so Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. It can be concluded that the learning model in the experimental class using NHT learning model is more effective than using TPS in the control class.

Abstract

The Childhood Education (PAUD) and Elementary School (SD) teachers should have adequate skills and knowledge in teaching, instilling, and being an example or role model for their students. Therefore, it was necessary to increase professionalism in terms of the use of national languages as well as international languages which are needed today, so that Indonesian students can use standard Indonesian properly and correctly.Based on the conditions encountered, the community service team at the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP), Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) Salatiga carried out community service activities with the aim of opening paradigms and training early-level early childhood and elementary school teachers to have a complete understanding of the concept of standard national and international languages and have the opportunity to improve language competence, especially English. This activity was carried out in the form of training, debriefing, and teaching simulations by four FKIP, UKSW lecturers who have Indonesian, English and educational management backgrounds.The results of the implementation of this activity could be seen at the beginning of understanding of classroom language and obtaining references to the use of standard language in the classroom to be used as capital to apply the Indonesian and English concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh dari penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem-based Learning (PbL) ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar, dengan menganalisis 20 penelitian eksperimen yang sudah dipublikasi pada Google Scholar atau Google Cendekia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta analisis. Tahapan meta analisis dalam penelitian ini antara lain; (a) menetapkan topik, (b) mencari dan mengumpulkan data, (c) melihat kesesuaian isi artikel dengan permasalahan. (d) menghitung signifikansi dengan menggunakan Uji T, (e) menghitung Effect Size, dan (f) menganalisis. Dari hasil analisis 20 artikel, berdasarkan Uji Paired Sample Test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) (0,000) < α (0,05) dan t hitung = -5,661 < t tabel = 2,093 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, dan menghasilkan Effect Size 0,65 dengan kategori besar. Hasil effect size sebesar 0,65 mempunyai makna bahwa adanya perlakuan antar variable, artinya adanya perlakuan yang signifikan, model pembelajaran Problem-based Learning dalam membangun keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SD. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa Problem-based Learning efektif digunakan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning models and NHT (Number Head Together) learning models towards learning styles and student learning outcomes. This research consists of 2 stages, namely Pretest and Posttest. The subjects were grade IV students of SD N Manggihan and class IV MI Nurul Islam Batur 02 Getasan District, Semarang Regency. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there are differences in the use of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model and the NHT (Number Head Together) learning model towards learning styles and student learning outcomes. The STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model is better able to show the ability of learning styles and student learning outcomes, in terms of Sig. (2 tailed) is 0,000 <0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The background of this research is that teaching materials are used as a way to determine the effectiveness of developing webbed-type teaching materials. Development of teaching materials as an understanding of learning design. Furthermore, the development of teaching materials must consider the teaching materials to be developed. Teaching materials must have a flexible nature, which means they can accept new things that have not been included in the content of the lesson during implementation. There are a number of reasons why teachers need to develop teaching materials, including; availability of materials according to curriculum demands, target characteristics, and learning problem solving demands. The development of teaching materials must pay attention to the demands of the curriculum, meaning that the learning materials that we will develop must be in accordance with the curriculum. At the education unit level curriculum, graduate competency standards have been set by the government, but how to achieve it and what teaching materials are used is left entirely to educators as professionals. In this case, teachers are required to have the ability to develop their own teaching materials. To support the curriculum, a teaching material may occupy a position as a main or supplementary teaching material. The main teaching materials are teaching materials that meet the demands of the curriculum. While supplementary teaching materials are teaching materials intended to enrich, add to or deepen the content of the curriculum. Research Results Qualitative meta-analysis, namely the development of webbed-type teaching materials is very interesting for students' learning, so that it has a positive impact on student posttest results at the elementary and junior high school levels.

Abstract

Latar belakan dari penelitian ini adalah tentang permasalahan kerja sama siswa dalam kelompok. Siswa aktif akan selalu dominan dalam pembelajaran. Namun hal itu tidak dilakukan oleh seluruh anggota kolompok. Anak yang cenderung kurang aktif kurang mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan mendiskripsikan proses penggunaan model group investigation dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA pokok bahasan benda dan sifatnya. Penelitian di laksanakan pada siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Kumpulrejo 2 Semester II tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Jumlah siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian sebanyak 21 orang yang terdiri dari 13 siswa laki-laki dan 8 siswa perempuan. Sedangkan untuk penelitian adalah mata pelajaran IPA dengan pokok bahasan benda dan sifatnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model group investigasi dapat meningkat keterampilan kerjasama siswa dalam kelompok. Tingkat rerata pencapaian skor kerjasama pada tahap pra tindakan sebesar 0,33 atau 11,67%, sedangkan rerata pencapaian skor kerja sama pada siklus II sebesar 2,05 atau 67,99%.

Abstract

Abstrack: This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of students who are still low in Ujung-Ujung SDN 03 on Mathematics. The aim of the study was to improve student learning outcomes on Mathematics subjects through the application of Teams Games Tournament assisted by heavy board media. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques are observation and test results. The research subjects were the fourth grade students of Ujung-Ujung SDN 03 totaling 18 students. Data collection tools using observation sheets, test questions are then analyzed with quantitative descriptive data. The results showed an increase in the percentage of learning outcomes of students who reached KKM in the pre-cycle, showing that from 18 there were 4 with values reaching KKM (37%) increasing in the first cycle to 14 students completing with a percentage of 78% and increasing again in cycle II reaching 100%. This increase occurs because students begin to understand the concept of Mathematics. And teachers use heavy board media that can help students understand the concept of Mathematics through the steps of learning Teams Games Tournament. Students are more enthusiastic and actively participate in each learning process.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Mathematics, Teams Games Tournament, Heavy Board Media
