Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan 1) untuk mendiskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning, 2) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis dan hasil belajar IPA melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa dan hasil belajar IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan mengunakan model Kemmis dan Mc taggart. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis data diskriptif komparatif. Hasil analisis data non tes dilakukan dengan menganalisis hasil observasi dari penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, kemampuan analisis siswa dan hasil belajar IPA mengalami peningkatan, hal ini terlihat dari presentase aktivitas guru dari rata-rata siklus I sebesar 55,66 menjadi rata-rata skor 71,67 pada siklus II . aktivitas analisis siswa capaian indikator 1 skor 71, indikator 2 skor 78. indikator 3 skor 66. Hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA mengalami peningkatan pada pra siklus(35,72%) dengan nilai rata-rata 64,64, siklus I (75%) nilai rata-rata sebanyak 72,64 dan siklus II (92,86%) mencapai rata-rata 78,75.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effectivenes of Discovery Learning and Problem Solving models in learning mathematics on the fourth grade students of elementary school in terms of problem solving skills. The samples was elementary school in a cluster of garuda in kabupaten Jepara. The sample was taken use observations and tests. The samples consisted of 2 elementary school with 65 students. The research method was experimental design used static-group comparison. The instruments used to measure the students problem solving skills were rubric and problem solving test. The data analysis techniques was t test  and descriptive. The results obtained from the experimental class by the number of students (N) with 35 students with the average score of 77.79, meanwhile the control class obtained the average score of (n) 72.91 with 30 students. The test result obtained t coefficient of t count of the sig 0.368 (2 tailed) 0.021. Because the value was <0,05, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted that meant that there were significant differences in the implementation of the discovery learning model and problem solving modelin improving problem solving skills of grade 4 students of the elementary school on learning mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektifitas model pembelajaran discovery learning dan model problem based learning di tinjau dari berfikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas 5 SDM Gugus Kalimbukuni Kabupaten Sumba Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Persyaratan untuk melakukan Uji T telah dilakukan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil penelitian Uji T diperoleh t hitung – 6.713 > t table 0,000, dengan signifikan sebesar 0,700 < 0,05 maka Hₐ diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan efektifitas penggunaan model discovery learning dan problem based learning ditinjau dari hasil berfikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA. Sebelumnya dilakukan perlakuan, tidak terdapat perbedaan efektifitas hasil berfikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA. Tetapi setelah dilakukan perlakuan, terdapat perbedaan efektifitas hasil berfikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas 5 SDM Gugus Kalimbukuni

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh analisis kebutuhan berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di SD Kristen 04 Eben Haezer Salatiga. Proses pembelajaran saat mata pelajaran matematika, guru hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran seperti video, dan buku paket. Oleh karena itu, peserta didik beranggapan bahwa mata pelajaran matematika sulit dan membosankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis android pada materi operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah kelas 3 SD; (2) menguji tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam pengembangan media “OPERA JURAGAN” adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil validitas yang diberikan validator, yaitu dengan cara menghitung nilai validasi. Hasil validasi media “OPERA JURAGAN” memperoleh skor sebesar 91% dari ahli materi; 92% dari ahli media; dan 77% dari praktisi (guru). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media “OPERA JURAGAN” memperoleh kriteria sangat valid sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi operasi hitung kelas III Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Mathematics learning media for 5 graders of elementary school, namely GURICA (Educational Game Snakes and Ladders Operation Counting Fractions). GURICA is a game application consist of fun arithmetic addition and subtraction operations for grade 5 of Elementary School. This study applies research and development (R&D) that uses the ASSURE development model. The data collection technique which is used in this development is a observations, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive technique. Based on the research, there are three validity points being assessed. The first is the material experts, which shows 92,00% which were in the very high. Second is media experts, with 90,00% as a result which considered high as well. And last is teacher response which obtains 89,14% result which is high also. The results of the validity test show that the development of the GURICA media (Educational Game Snakes and Ladders Operations Counting Fractions) is proven to be valid in learning mathematics for grade 5 Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji ada tidaknya perbedaan keefektifan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Inquiry dan Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter terhadap keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran tematik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasieksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent  Control  Group  Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas VA SD N Bringin 01 sebagai  kelompok eksperimen (model Inquiry bermuatan karakter), dan 21 siswa kelas VB SD N Bringin 01 sebagai kelompok kontrol (model Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter). Variabel dalam penelitian terdiri atas model Inquiry dan Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter sebagai variabel bebas, dan keterampilan proses ilmiah sebagai variabel terikat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen rubrik penilaian serta lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data hasil penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan teknik statistik Mann Whitney.  Berdasarkan uji Mann Withney diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,034 < 0,05, maka  H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keefektifan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Inquiry bermuatan karakter dengan Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter terhadap keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran tematik. Adanya perbedaan keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa yang signifikan didukung dengan perbedaan rerata kedua sampel penelitian yaitu 86,29 untuk kelompok eksperimen dengan model Inquiry bermuatan karakter dan 82,59 untuk kelompok kontrol dengan model Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter. Maknanya model pembelajaran Inquiry bermuatan karakter lebih efektif dalam memfasilitasi keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa dibandingkan model Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter.

Abstract

This study aims to a) describe the steps of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model of learning in improving the responsibility and learning outcomes of second grade students of SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa.Further, this study wanted b) to know the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in increasing the responsibility of 2nd grade students of SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa. Even more c) to know the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving the learning outcomes of 2nd grade students of SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa. Classroom Action Research was conducted at SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa, data collection techniques used were observations, questionnaires, and tests. The data obtained were analyzed by using quantitative data analysis. The result of the research indicated the responsibility of the students on the initial condition no students including criteria Very Responsible, 15 students (39,5%) including Responsible, 18 students (47,4%) including Responsible enough, 5 students (13,1% %) including Unresponsible, and no students belonging to the Very Unresponsible criteria. Therefore students who are at least accountable enough 33 students with a percentage of 86.8%, then there was an increased in the final condition that there are only students who are on criteria Very Responsible 16 students (42.1%), and Responsible criteria 22 students 57.9%). So that the minimum student responsible enough increased to 38 students with 100% percentage. Results of learning conditions of the initial load of Indonesian language that completed 50% with an average value of 72.1, the first cycle increased to 55.3% with an average of 74.5, cycle II increased again to 100% with an average of 81.1 . Then on the load of PPKn the initial condition was completed 47,4% average 70,7, in the first cycle increased to 52,6% with average 80,3, then cycle II increased again to 100% with average 90 , 1. While the initial Mathematical content of 39.5% complete with an average value of 69.2, the first cycle increased to 47.4% with an average of 72, then cycle II increased again to 100% with an average of 81.6.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the application of problem based learning learning models. This type of research is PTK. Subjects of grade IV students. Data collection techniques using tests, observation data, activeness assessment rubrics. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the activeness of learning activities in pre-cycle (64.87%) 24 students inactive in the first cycle increased to (24.32%) 9 students were quite active and in the second cycle increased to (83.78%) 31 students were active. Whereas for pre-cycle learning outcomes showed completeness of (41%) 15 students completed then increased in cycle 1 to (54%) 20 students completed and (81%) 30 students completed in cycle II. Thus the application of problem based learning learning models can improve the activeness and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Panjang 03.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the steps of Problem Based Learning model to increase student involvement in learning and the result of the learning, knowing the enhancement of the student involved, and knowing the growth of student’s learning result. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research which it should be done in two cycles. This research has been done in First Noborejo National Elementary School and the subject of this research is fourth-grade students consists of 34 people. The data collection technic of this research is using test and non-test technic. The technic that we used to analyze all the data is quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this research showing that applying steps of Problem Based Learning Model which is orientated student on the problem, organizing student to learn, guide the individual and social experience, developing and providing masterpiece of the student, also analyzing and evaluating problem-solving process, an increased student involved and science learning outcomes in thematic learning on fourth grade student of First Noborejo National Elementary School. The proof of this research’s result is the growth of students involved from their first condition (pre-cycle) which was 77,47 and categorized as less active and after using this model, for the first cycle, it increased and reached 95,44 with category pretty active. In the second cycle, the average of the student involved increased become 118,32 with category active. The student learning outcomes also increased with the first learning outcomes average (pre-cycle) is 62,17 and only 13 students that pass the test (38,23%). It becomes better with the average grades of student’s learning outcomes is 78,39 and 23 students passed the test (67,64%). On the second cycle, the average grades of the student learning outcomes are 83,29 and 28 students passed the test (82,36).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kembali penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian adalah meta-analisis. Penelitian dimulai dengan merumuskan masalah penelitian, kemudian menguji hasil penelitian yang relevan untuk dianalisis. Data dikumpulkan dengan menelusuri artikel dan jurnal elektronik dengan menggunakan Google Scholar. Hasil pencarian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa artikel dan jurnal elektronik tetapi hanya 18 artikel yang relevan, jurnal elektronik, dan esai. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dari yang terendah 9,98 %  sampai yang tertinggi 53,85% dengan rata-rata sebesar 28,78%Kata Kunci : Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar, Meta-Analisis
