Abstract

This study aims to develop Mathematics learning media for 5 graders of elementary school, namely GURICA (Educational Game Snakes and Ladders Operation Counting Fractions). GURICA is a game application consist of fun arithmetic addition and subtraction operations for grade 5 of Elementary School. This study applies research and development (R&D) that uses the ASSURE development model. The data collection technique which is used in this development is a observations, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive technique. Based on the research, there are three validity points being assessed. The first is the material experts, which shows 92,00% which were in the very high. Second is media experts, with 90,00% as a result which considered high as well. And last is teacher response which obtains 89,14% result which is high also. The results of the validity test show that the development of the GURICA media (Educational Game Snakes and Ladders Operations Counting Fractions) is proven to be valid in learning mathematics for grade 5 Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji ada tidaknya perbedaan keefektifan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Inquiry dan Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter terhadap keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran tematik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasieksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent  Control  Group  Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas VA SD N Bringin 01 sebagai  kelompok eksperimen (model Inquiry bermuatan karakter), dan 21 siswa kelas VB SD N Bringin 01 sebagai kelompok kontrol (model Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter). Variabel dalam penelitian terdiri atas model Inquiry dan Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter sebagai variabel bebas, dan keterampilan proses ilmiah sebagai variabel terikat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen rubrik penilaian serta lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data hasil penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan teknik statistik Mann Whitney.  Berdasarkan uji Mann Withney diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,034 < 0,05, maka  H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keefektifan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Inquiry bermuatan karakter dengan Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter terhadap keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran tematik. Adanya perbedaan keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa yang signifikan didukung dengan perbedaan rerata kedua sampel penelitian yaitu 86,29 untuk kelompok eksperimen dengan model Inquiry bermuatan karakter dan 82,59 untuk kelompok kontrol dengan model Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter. Maknanya model pembelajaran Inquiry bermuatan karakter lebih efektif dalam memfasilitasi keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa dibandingkan model Discovery Learning bermuatan karakter.

Abstract

This study aims to a) describe the steps of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model of learning in improving the responsibility and learning outcomes of second grade students of SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa.Further, this study wanted b) to know the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in increasing the responsibility of 2nd grade students of SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa. Even more c) to know the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving the learning outcomes of 2nd grade students of SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa. Classroom Action Research was conducted at SDN Panjang 02 Ambarawa, data collection techniques used were observations, questionnaires, and tests. The data obtained were analyzed by using quantitative data analysis. The result of the research indicated the responsibility of the students on the initial condition no students including criteria Very Responsible, 15 students (39,5%) including Responsible, 18 students (47,4%) including Responsible enough, 5 students (13,1% %) including Unresponsible, and no students belonging to the Very Unresponsible criteria. Therefore students who are at least accountable enough 33 students with a percentage of 86.8%, then there was an increased in the final condition that there are only students who are on criteria Very Responsible 16 students (42.1%), and Responsible criteria 22 students 57.9%). So that the minimum student responsible enough increased to 38 students with 100% percentage. Results of learning conditions of the initial load of Indonesian language that completed 50% with an average value of 72.1, the first cycle increased to 55.3% with an average of 74.5, cycle II increased again to 100% with an average of 81.1 . Then on the load of PPKn the initial condition was completed 47,4% average 70,7, in the first cycle increased to 52,6% with average 80,3, then cycle II increased again to 100% with average 90 , 1. While the initial Mathematical content of 39.5% complete with an average value of 69.2, the first cycle increased to 47.4% with an average of 72, then cycle II increased again to 100% with an average of 81.6.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the application of problem based learning learning models. This type of research is PTK. Subjects of grade IV students. Data collection techniques using tests, observation data, activeness assessment rubrics. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the activeness of learning activities in pre-cycle (64.87%) 24 students inactive in the first cycle increased to (24.32%) 9 students were quite active and in the second cycle increased to (83.78%) 31 students were active. Whereas for pre-cycle learning outcomes showed completeness of (41%) 15 students completed then increased in cycle 1 to (54%) 20 students completed and (81%) 30 students completed in cycle II. Thus the application of problem based learning learning models can improve the activeness and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Panjang 03.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the steps of Problem Based Learning model to increase student involvement in learning and the result of the learning, knowing the enhancement of the student involved, and knowing the growth of student’s learning result. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research which it should be done in two cycles. This research has been done in First Noborejo National Elementary School and the subject of this research is fourth-grade students consists of 34 people. The data collection technic of this research is using test and non-test technic. The technic that we used to analyze all the data is quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this research showing that applying steps of Problem Based Learning Model which is orientated student on the problem, organizing student to learn, guide the individual and social experience, developing and providing masterpiece of the student, also analyzing and evaluating problem-solving process, an increased student involved and science learning outcomes in thematic learning on fourth grade student of First Noborejo National Elementary School. The proof of this research’s result is the growth of students involved from their first condition (pre-cycle) which was 77,47 and categorized as less active and after using this model, for the first cycle, it increased and reached 95,44 with category pretty active. In the second cycle, the average of the student involved increased become 118,32 with category active. The student learning outcomes also increased with the first learning outcomes average (pre-cycle) is 62,17 and only 13 students that pass the test (38,23%). It becomes better with the average grades of student’s learning outcomes is 78,39 and 23 students passed the test (67,64%). On the second cycle, the average grades of the student learning outcomes are 83,29 and 28 students passed the test (82,36).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kembali penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian adalah meta-analisis. Penelitian dimulai dengan merumuskan masalah penelitian, kemudian menguji hasil penelitian yang relevan untuk dianalisis. Data dikumpulkan dengan menelusuri artikel dan jurnal elektronik dengan menggunakan Google Scholar. Hasil pencarian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa artikel dan jurnal elektronik tetapi hanya 18 artikel yang relevan, jurnal elektronik, dan esai. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dari yang terendah 9,98 %  sampai yang tertinggi 53,85% dengan rata-rata sebesar 28,78%Kata Kunci : Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar, Meta-Analisis

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Project Based Learning (PJBL) terhadap hasil belajar IPA SD Kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar pada materi daur air. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental, the two group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri 1 Bengking dan kelas 5 SD Negeri 2 Pandeyan, Kabupaten Klaten. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan non tes dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa lembar soal tes dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis uji T. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan gambaran terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, rata-rata skor hasil postes pada Eksperimen baik Problem Based Learning (PBL) maupun Project Based Learning) PjBL lebih baik dari hasil pretes sebelumnya. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil uji pengolahan data berbatuan SPSS 21.00 for windows menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. 0,020 (0,020 < 0,05). Jadi diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh signifikan antara pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning(PBL) dan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning(PJBL) terhadap hasil belajar muatan IPA kelas V SD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine to determine the effectiveness of discovery learning and inquiry learning learning models on students’ on critical thinking skills in the fifth grade mathematics subject in elementary school. This research is a quasi-experimental research using a research design that is The Static-Group Comparison. Population used by tifth grade elementary school students in the Pattimura. cluster. Sampling with non-probability sampling technique which is purposive sampling type. The sample used were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Wonorejo 01 as the experimental class 1 which amounted to 36 people and the tifth grade students of SD Negeri Wonorejo 04 as the experimental class 2 whitch amounted to 36 people. So the number of all samples used is 72 students. This research method uses observation and tests. The two elementary schools used as research were experimental group1 and experimental group 2. Eksperimental group 1 uses the treatment with discovery learning model while the experimental group 2 uses inuiry learning model. Based on the results of this study indicate that the average value of critical thinking skills in the experimental class 1 is 66,41 while the experimental class 2 is 58,55. T test result t count of 2,889 and sig. (2-tailed) 0,005 with sig. (1-tailed) 0,0025 and a df of 70. Value on probability < 0,05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it concluded that the application of the discovery learning, learning model is significantly more effective than the inquiry learning model on critical thinking skills of fifth grade subject in elementary school students. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas antara model Problem Posing dan Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas V.  Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu yang menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tingkir Lor 01 dengan jumlah 22 siswa dan 25 siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tingkir Lor 02. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pemberian tes dan non test kepada siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data statistik kuantatif. Hasil penelitin menunjukkan adanya perbedaan efektivitas yang signifikan, dan nilai rata-rata penggunaan model Problem Based Learning yaitu 88 yang mengalami peningkatan Tinggi dengan nilai N-Gain 79,2% sedangkan nilai rata-rata lebih rendah dari model Problem Posing yaitu 63 dengan nilai N-Gain 64,9%. Simpulan penelitian adalah model Problem Based Learning terbukti lebih efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPS pada siswa dibandingkan menggunakan model Problem Posing.

AbstrakAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji perbedaan keefektifan model pembelajaran Inquiry Learning dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yang digunakan pada mata pelajaran matematika khususnya pada luas dan keliling bangun datar ditinjau dari kemampuan matematika siswa kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian quasi-experimental atau sering dikenal sebagai penelitian semu. Dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas IV di SD Negeri Wringinputih 02 dan SD Negeri Wringinputih 03. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunaakan teknik nontes berupa observasi dan tes berupa soal uraian. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah The Static-Group Comparison. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas sedangkan perbedaannya ditentukan dengan uji-t (Independent Samples T-test). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa guru memilih model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dalam materi luas dan keliling bangun datar khususnya bangun datar (persegi, persegi panjang dan segitiga) karena model Problem Based Learning (PBL) mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada siswa. Untuk merangsang proses berpikir, guru dapat mengguanakn strategi polya, dimana siswa diminta untuk memecahkan masalah secara runtut dimulai dari memahami masalah, menentukan rencana, melaksanakan rencana dan melihat kembali. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berdasarkan uji t kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning secara signifikan lebih unggul dibandingkan model pembelajaran Inquiry Learning dalam Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah matematika siswa kelas IV SD khususnya pada luas dan keliling bangun datar persegi, persegi panjang dan segitiga.Kata Kunci: Inquiry Learning; Problem Based Learning; Kemampuan Pemecahan MasalahAbstractThe purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the effectiveness of the Inquiry Learning learning model compared to the Problem Based Learning learning model used in mathematics subjects, especially in the area and perimeter of flat shapes in terms of the fourth grade students' mathematical abilities. To stimulate the thinking process, the teacher can use the polya strategy, where students are asked to solve problems in a coherent way starting from understanding the problem, determining a plan, implementing the plan and looking back. The results obtained from this study based on the t-test of problem solving abilities in the control group and the experimental group showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model was significantly superior to the Inquiry Learning learning model in the mathematical problem solving ability of fourth grade elementary school students, especially in the area and circumference of the shape. flat squares, rectangles and triangles.
