Abstract

This research is caused by the large number of teachers who still rely on oral communication learning methods between teachers and students who only focus on book material. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of 3-dimensional diorama learning media on the learning outcomes of grade 3 students. This research uses quantitative research methods. For this type of research, it is pre-experimental, with the design used being One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects used in this research were grade 3 students at SDN Ranuklindungan II, Pasuruan Regency. The instrument used in this research is the test. The results of the research carried out obtained the results of the hypothesis which was tested using the t statistical test (t test) in both groups, with the result t count 17.077 while the t table value with degrees of freedom (df) 29 at a significance level of 0.05 is 1.6991. In this context, t_count > t_table (17.077 1.6991) which means the alternative hypothesis (H) in this study is acceptable. This is proven by the average value of the posttest learning results (86.23) which is higher than the pretest results (53.30), so that the results of hypothesis testing with SPSS 25 for Windows have proven that there is a significant influence between 3-dimensional diorama learning media on Class 3 students learning outcomes on weather changes at SDN Ranuklindungan II, Pasuruan Regency. Abstrak Penelitian ini dipicu oleh banyaknya guru yang masih mengandalkan metode pembelajaran komunikasi lisan antara guru dengan anak didik yang hanya memusatkan perhatian pada materi buku saja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran 3 dimensi diorama terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Untuk jenis penelitiannya pre-eksperimen dengan desain yang digunakan adalah One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 3 SDN Ranuklindungan II Kabupaten Pasuruan. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu tesHasil penelitian yang dilakukan memperoleh hasil hipotesis yang diuji menggunakan uji statistik t (uji t) pada kedua kelompok, dengan hasil 17,077 sedangkan nilai dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 29 pada tingkat signifikansi 0.05 adalah 1.6991. Dalam konteks ini, (17.077 lebih dari 1.6991) yang berarti hipotesis alternatif dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar posttest (86.23) yang lebih tinggi daripada hasil pretest (53.30), sehingga hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan SPSS 25 for windows telah membuktikan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media pembelajaran 3 dimensi diorama terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas 3 materi perubahan cuaca di SDN Ranuklindungan II Kabupaten Pasuruan.

Abstract

This study was motivated by students' lack of understanding of the material, less active students and lack of student focus during learning. The use of media that relies on printed media, especially the material of the cycle of living things and efforts to preserve it in class IV. The purpose of this study is to develop digital media products assisted by kinemaster as a learning tool applied to IPAS lessons on the material of the cycle of living things and efforts to preserve it to make it easier for students to understand the material.  The method used is research and development (R&D), using steps from the ADDIE model that has been developed by Dick and Carry including Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The research subjects were 23 students of class IV A SDN Wiroborang 1.  The data instruments used are material expert validation sheets, media experts, learning practitioners and student responses. The results of the material expert validation research amounted to 84%, media experts 96%, learning practitioners 98% and student responses 84.5%. Based on the results of research and development of digital media assisted by kinemaster material cycle of living things and their conservation efforts in class IV, has been valid with an overall result of 90.6%. Therefore, this media is declared very feasible to use in learning activities at school. Thus, digital media assisted by kinemaster is expected to be developed again based on the needs of students and further research is needed to get optimal results.
