Abstract

Venn diagrams group data sets based on relations, either in the form of combined or slice sets. Venn Diagram mapping occurs when there are interrelated data sets. Weaknesses Venn diagrams do not show interconnected data, such as how many data records come from sorting Query data. In this study, cross-tabulation supports indicating related data in the database, making a Venn Diagram. This research uses cross-tabulation results to facilitate Venn Diagram mapping in database exploration. The variable used as experimental material is student test scores. Database interpretation has evidenced cross-tabulation to map Venn Diagram by separating Grade levels. The breakdown of Grade levels makes it easier to understand the visualization of data in the Venn Diagram. Merging Assignments, UTS, and UAS workable if they have the same goal, referring to the Grade as the data centre. The results obtained that the Grade value with the highest achievement is A-. Assignments worth >= 81.5 by 41%, UTS between values ​​of 73-85.5 by 21%, and UAS between values ​​of 77.5-82.5 by 24%.

Abstract

This study explores the application of graph clustering in identifying and analyzing the shortest traffic-related routes. Graph clustering groups points (vertices) based on road attributes. The DBSCAN method and ant algorithm are applied to classify vertices based on traffic intensity and find the optimal shortest path. This case study focuses on the Tangerang Selatan region, resulting in three clusters and identifying seven noises. Two of the three clusters are selected to calculate the shortest distance, resulting in the sequence [7, 6, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 5] and a distance of 0.2526. This research provides insights into how to graph clustering can be used to optimize traffic routes and is expected to serve as a foundation for further exploration

Abstract

The development of business opportunities in today's era brings many benefits as well as in coffee shops. Coffee Shop is a place to relax or gather with friends, family to release boredom, after daily activities, and Coffee shop enthusiasts are quite well known both from teenagers to parents, where coffee shop fans must have an ability to visit the coffee shop. This research has a goal to generate a decision support system (DSS). Which is where the decision support system (DSS) has utility as a tool to make the best coffee shop decisions overall. By setting the TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution) method by getting the preference value as the first rank. So with this, the best coffee shop is found in alternative A04 with the highest score of 0.9911 on behalf of Arata Coffee

Abstract

This study examines the use of visual modeling in understanding the sales patterns of computer spare parts at PT Prima Krida Solusindo. The use of violin plots serves as a method for data interpretation, focusing on the distribution of sales data to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs. This study involves 3893 samples with eight features being analyzed. Initial results show a broad variation in the sales of computer spare parts. For example, the highest unit sales occur in the first quarter, but the sales volume tends to be low. Opposite, sales in the second quarter tend to focus on purchases with a relatively similar volume. In addition, preferences for distribution channels, sales segmentation, sub-segmentation, and product types also vary in sales volume. While the violin plot aids in visualizing data distribution, this study also found that this method has limitations, such as category overlapping, that complicate interpretation. The inclusion of additional plots can facilitate a more detailed interpretation

Abstract

Small and Medium-sized Laundry Service Enterprises face stiff competition and rapidly changing market dynamics in the contemporary business era. This study aims to understand the key factors influencing the success of Small and Medium-sized Laundry Service Enterprises through a SWOT analysis, focusing on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Using the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method for criteria evaluation, this research found that "Employee Friendliness" is the primary strength. At the same time, "Lack of Human Resources" is a significant weakness. On the other hand, "Good Customer Relations" was identified as the most significant opportunity, and "Emergence of Competitors" was the primary threat. These findings highlight the importance of human interaction in service businesses and the need to enhance HR capabilities. This study provides valuable insights for Small and Medium-sized Laundry Service Enterprises on leveraging strengths, addressing weaknesses, capitalizing on opportunities, and confronting threats for sustainable business success

Abstract

As a decision support system, we implemented the Multi-Attribute Global Inference of Quality (MAGIQ) method in patent applications. By employing the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) weighting approach, we determined that MAGIQ provides an effective and efficient solution for addressing challenges in the patent application process. Although previous studies have applied MAGIQ to software quality evaluation, our application in selecting patent applicants introduces a new perspective. Our analysis identified Applicant 2 as the most suitable, achieving the highest score of 0.454861. Furthermore, when comparing our results with those derived from the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, we observed a high consistency in rankings, affirming MAGIQ's reliability. Consequently, we suggest applying MAGIQ to more intricate problems to delve deeper into its potential and constraints in diverse contexts

Abstract

Information of article which had attractive contains as Trending Topics, although this is article hoax or not. The frequency of article's content which created by online media, it can be monitored by Google Analytics. One of the reasons for using Google Analytics is to understand the content of a site which leads to the change and behavior of behind the content. Google Analytics can be regarded as web analytics software with ease of installation. Classification of Google Analytics data with C-Fuzzy Decision Tree (C-FDT), aims to get the attraction of article content, which means having special attention from visitors and the article can be interesting or not, and observed whether C-FDT can recognize patterns from metric data Google Analytics. The purpose of this study is the results of FDT are expected to facilitate online media managers to analyze the content of articles and evaluate content groups tend to potentially gain traffic for getting promotional or marketing advertising as revenue from online media sites. The results obtained are C-FDT can recognize the pattern of Google Analytics metrics thus as facilitating the search of the article content into a simple form that is the reduction of attributes by grouping data with the same object and the data had Pruning. Online media managers can focus on certain attributes that have a big effect on Content Articles. However C-FDT is having trouble dealing with data sync due to system errors when retrieving data from Google Analytics. Therefore it is necessary to monitor data in time series.

Abstract

Data visualization and Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) are crucial in analyzing and interpreting complex data and supporting data-based decision-making processes. This research integrates MAGIQ, an MCDM approach, with Improved Rank Order Centroid (IROC) weighting and data visualization using the Geometrical Analysis for Interactive Aid (GAIA) biplot. This study aims to understand the relationship between criteria and alternatives in MAGIQ, facilitated by IROC weighting to interpret alternative selection. The research findings indicate that for the 'Patent Description' criterion, the IROC weight value is 0.513401, signifying the importance of this criterion in the assessment context. In the case of alternative P2, the total MAGIQ score obtained is 0.4485124, indicating that P2 is the best alternative based on the given criteria. P1 and P3 received MAGIQ scores of 0.2775665 and 0.2739211, respectively, placing them in the second and third ranks. This research implements the IROC method in MAGIQ in a systematic manner, where specific coefficients are used to calculate the weight of each criterion, and a GAIA biplot is utilized to visualize the relationship between criteria and alternatives. The practical application of this approach can be seen in patent application cases, where decision-makers can use it to evaluate complex alternatives in a more structured and data-based manner

Abstract

Due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire, Indonesia frequently experiences earthquakes. This phenomenon endangers society and infrastructure, including the hotel industry. Hotels are placed based on locations around areas of Indonesia vulnerable to earthquakes so that hotel owners can use hotel designs and construction that are earthquake-resistant when built. This is because areas with high earthquakes increase the risk of damage to hotel buildings. This research uses hotel geographic location data and Indonesian seismic data to classify hotels in earthquake-prone regions of Indonesia using the K-Means algorithm. Data was taken from USGS from January 2022 to November 2023. Using the K-Means algorithm, hotels were aggregated into clusters based on their proximity to the earthquake epicenter and recorded earthquake magnitude. The research results show that there are two ideal clusters based on the highest Shilhoutte value, namely 0.954, which means it can be sent into two different clusters based on latitude, longitude, and hotel address, with four hotels and three hotels as members of each cluster. Hotels Mutiara, Saparua, and Tiara have a higher level of vulnerability than other hotels because they are located near the earthquake. This research can help hotel owners and policymakers create strategies to reduce risk, increase safety, and develop sustainability in earthquake-prone regions.

Abstract

Tanah Abang merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang terletak di Kota Administrasi JakartaPusat dengan luas wilayah 9,3 Km2. Berdasarkan administrasi pemerintahan, kecamatan TanahAbang terdiri dari 7 kelurahan, yaitu Kelurahan Gelora, Bendungan Hilir, Karet Tengsin,Kebon Melati, Petamburan, Kebon Kacang, dan Kampung Bali. Tanah Abang merupakandaerah yang sebagian besar perkantoran, pusat perbelanjaan dan pemukiman penduduksehingga banyak kendaraan yang lalu lalang sehingga terjadi kemacetan di jalan sudahterbiasa terjadi di Daerah Kecamatan Tanah Abang. Penulis melakukan riset untukmenentukan rute kemacetan di daerah tersebut untuk menganalisa penyebab terjadinyakemacetan dengan menggunakan Metode Algoritma Fuzzy Ant. Penggunaan Algoritma FuzzyAnt memungkinkan pemilihan rute semut lebih cepat mencapai konvergen karena pemilihantersebut menggunakan cluster maksimum Fuzzy C-Means dari 3 cluster keanggotaan sehinggaproses siklus Ant tidak terlalu lama. Hasil yang di dapatkan dari algoritma tersebut untukpencarian rute kemacetan adalah B-E-C-A dikarenakan terdapat parkir sembarangan,perbaikan jalan, maupun penutupan jalan.
