Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi di era 4.0 telah memberikan banyak perubahan, khususnya pada bidang pendidikan. Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat ini tentunya tidak akan membuat pendidik merasa kesulitan dalam menyediakan bahan ajar yang menarik. Namun, berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan diperoleh informasi bahwa pendidik masih kurang memahami teknologi ataupun aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pendidik dapat membuat pembelajaran interaktif berupa video pembelajaran yang dapat dikontrol penggunaannya oleh pendidik, yaitu dengan menggunakan aplikasi edpuzzle. Kegiatan ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengenalkan edpuzzle sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan pendidik dalam membuat media pembelajaran interaktif, (2) untuk memberikan bimbingan bagi pendidik dalam membuat media pembelajarn interaktif edpuzzle. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan praktik, dengan pengumpulan data berupa angket. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa selama proses pelatihan peserta aktif dan antusias, materi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber jelas dan mudah diikuti peserta, dengan persentase sebesar 84%. Pelaksanaan pelatihan secara keseluruhan dinilai sangat baik oleh peserta, ditunjukkan dengan skor sebesar 88%.

Abstract

The low interest that students have in mathematics classes is the driving force behind this research, which aims to increase students' engagement and comprehension of addition and subtraction concepts by employing smart ladder media. The purpose of this study is to use smart ladder media to increase the Hots Thinking Subject's capacity. SD Negeri 83 Palembang, situated on Jl. Pangeran Ratu Jakabaring, RT 29/ RW 08, 15 Ulu, Seberang Ulu I District, Palembang City, South Sumatra, is the location where this research was conducted. This study falls under the category of development research since it aims to identify Valid, Practical, and Potential Effects. 10 students from class II at SD Negeri 83 Palembang participated in this study; ten students took the practical test and twenty-seven students worked on the questionnaire. In this study, tests and questionnaires were used as data collection methods. The investigation yielded 89% of the results with the criterion "Very valid" across all validators. A practicality test, administered at SD Negeri 83 Palembang, yielded a 56% "Quite practical" proportion among the ten students who completed the questionnaires. At SD Negeri 83 Palembang, the possible impact of providing 10 essay test questions received an 82% "Very Effective" rating.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the speed reading method to reading skills in Indonesian language learning for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 31 Palembang. The type of research used by researchers is descriptive with a quantitative approach, the design used in this study is pre-exsperimental (non-designs) with the type of “pre-test and post-test one group design”, namely research using only one class without any comparison class or control class. The population and sample of this study are the population of all students from class I to class VI of SD Negeri 31 Palembang, totaling 251 people and the sample is class V, totaling 20 people. Data was collected using observation and also tests, the data collected was analyzed using pretest and posttest. The results of the study showed that the results of reading ability before being taught using speed reading reached the high category. So it can be concluded that the speed reading method can be used to improve reading skills, some of the advantages are that it can activate students during the learning process, attract students’ attention and facilitate student understanding.
