Abstract

Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergartens and Playgroups (TK/KB ABA) have been integral to the Aisyiyah movement’s early childhood education mission since 1919. Strengthening organizational ideology is essential for enhancing teachers’ professionalism and fostering children’s character development. This community service program addressed the varying levels of teachers’ understanding of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah (AIK) values, Aisyiyah ideology, and their integration into twenty-first-century learning. The program aimed to strengthen ideological understanding and professional competence through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach involving needs assessment, Baitul Arqam training, workshops on progressive Islamic learning design, mentoring, and continuous evaluation. The program involved 48 TK/KB ABA teachers affiliated with the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Teachers Association (IGABA) in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Results showed a 41% increase in ideological understanding and a 37% improvement in professional competence, alongside enhanced ability to integrate tauhid, moral values, and modern science into contextual learning through a sustainable mentoring model.

Abstract

This study examines the gap between formal sharia principles and murabahah practices in Indonesian Islamic banking and its impact on consumer protection. Empirical findings indicate weaknesses, such as fixed margins that follow conventional interest rates and a lack of contract transparency, which have the potential to lead to hidden usury, customer misunderstanding, and economic injustice. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of sharia principles in murabahah and its impact on consumer protection. This study uses normative juridical methods, examining the fatwa of the National Sharia Council (DSN MUI) and Islamic banking regulations. The conclusion shows that although the regulatory framework and fatwas have adopted Sharia principles, the practice of murabahah tends to be administrative rather than substantive. Margins are often fixed and follow conventional interest rates, potentially giving rise to “hidden riba” and contradicting the maq??id of Sharia, such as al-?adl (justice) and ?if? al m?l (protection of wealth). Furthermore, contract transparency is often weak, with minimal disclosure of details of the cost price, margin, and payment risks, thus weakening the client's position and legal consumer protection. The novelty of this research lies in the proposal of a fairer ?iw?? (risk and effort compensation)-based margin model that aligns with the maq??id of Sharia, replacing the conventional fixed margin model. The research also recommends reformulating Sharia financial statements to reflect the values ??of the maq??id and making Sharia accounting a substantive oversight tool, rather than a mere formality. In addition, strengthened coordination between banking authorities, the Sharia Supervisory Board, and regulatory institutions is proposed to ensure more effective and sustainable operational oversight and compliance with principles. Abstract

Abstract

The qurban meat distribution program organized by the Muhammadiyah Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah Institution (LAZISMU) of Bima City is a form of Islamic philanthropy that has a social empowerment dimension for marginalized communities. This community service activity aims to describe the implementation mechanism, distribution strategy, and socio-economic impact of the LAZISMU Qurban meat distribution program in Bima City on poor and vulnerable community groups. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with participatory observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation carried out during the month of Zulhijah 1447 H / May 2026. The subjects of the activity included 312 beneficiary families spread across six sub-districts with high poverty rates in Bima City, namely Melayu, Dara, Manggemaci, Tanjung, Sambinae, and Penanae Sub-districts. The results of the activity indicate that the LAZISMU Bima City qurban meat distribution program is able to reach groups that have been marginalized in access to quality animal food, including the poor, elderly widows, people with disabilities, and casual laborers. Program innovations such as validation of beneficiary data based on neighborhood units (RT/RW), partnerships with local farmers, and a scheduled distribution system have proven to increase effectiveness and target accuracy. This program is not only consumptive in dimension, but also has the potential for productive empowerment through strengthening community social networks. The study recommends expanding the program's reach, integrating integrated mustahik data, and cross-institutional collaboration between LAZISMU, local governments, and community organizations to strengthen the food security of marginalized communities in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, recorded a leprosy incidence rate of 4.7 per 10,000 population in 2023, far exceeding the national elimination threshold of less than 1 per 10,000 established by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. This epidemiological situation is compounded by micronutrient deficiencies, particularly vitamin C and zinc found in local fruits, which play a crucial role in maintaining cellular immunity against Mycobacterium leprae. This community service aimed to optimize the humanitarian da'wah capacity of the Aisyiyah Regional Board (PDA) of Bima Regency through two integrated interventions: community-based education on early detection, prevention, and leprosy destigmatization; and strengthening the local fruit consumption culture as an immunonutrition strategy rooted in local wisdom. The methodological approach employed was Community-Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR) involving 128 Aisyiyah cadres, 64 registered leprosy patients, and 240 family members from eight sub-districts over six months. The conclusion results show an increase in knowledge about leprosy by 67.4% (p<0.001), a decrease in community stigma scores by 41.2% based on the Explanatory Model Interview Catalogue–Stigma (EMIC-S) instrument, and an increase in the frequency of daily fruit consumption by 53.8% in the target group. The novelty of community service is the integration of the Muhammadiyah dakwah bil-hal framework with an immunonutrition approach based on local Bima fruit that has never been reported in previous community service literature. These findings provide an empirical basis for the formulation of a community health intervention model integrated with Islamic values and local food potential.

Abstract

Abstract The DSN-MUI fatwa regulates the implementation of ta'widh and ta'zir by taking into account sharia principles, ensuring that the compensation and sanction mechanisms do not contain elements of usury or injustice. From the perspective of maqashid sharia, the implementation of ta'widh and ta'zir aims to safeguard property (hifzh al-mal) and uphold justice in transactions, thereby supporting the achievement of the main objectives of sharia. This study shows that the DSN-MUI fatwa provides a clear legal basis for the implementation of both concepts, maintaining a balance between protecting the rights of transacting parties and the continuity of fair and sustainable sharia banking practices. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and normative analysis, this study explores how the MUI fatwa regulates the implementation of ta'widh and ta'zir and how its implementation is relevant to the main objectives of maqashid sharia, namely safeguarding property, justice, and social balance in Islamic economics.
