Abstract

Investing is a human effort to save a certain amount of money in time, in the hope of gaining some profit in the future. Investment decisions are fundamentally related to the management of funds in a given period, in which investors have hope to earn income or profit from the funds invested. Almost all investors do not want losses when investing. Various ways are done to avoid loss, or at least maximize profits with minimal risk. The value of risk that is often used is Value At Risk (VaR). Values ​​At Risk (VaR) is one of the statistical tools used to measure the maximum loss of an asset or investment over a certain period with a certain degree of confidence to reduce the occurrence of the risk. This study aims to determine how the risk of stock portfolio of PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) and PT.PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP) use Value at Risk analysis using Varian-Covariance method at closing price of shares incorporated in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and Asset Value at Risk PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) and PT.PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP) to Value at Risk Portfolio. The results showed that if the initial fund invested to PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. and PT.PP London Sumatra Indah Tbk. Rp. 10.000.000, - with a 95% confidence level obtained Value at Risk (VaR) of Rp. 369.682. this can be interpreted there is a 95% confidence that the losses received by investors will not exceed from Rp. 369.682..The result of PT. Astra Agro Lestari tbk. against portfolio risk at 6% and PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk. of portfolio risk is 46%.

Abstract

Queueing theory is a theory that concerns in the mathematical study of queue or row of waiting. The formation of the queue is occurs when the need for a service exceed the capacity of the service. In this study, an analysis is done to determine whether the queue model (M/G/c) :(GD/∞/∞) can be applied to the Workshop of Utomo Motor Yamaha Samarinda Seberang. Primary data is used and is taken for 3 days in a random busy period selected in May to August 2017. The result is the queue system on Utomo Motor Yamaha using FCFS queue discipline with 4 parallel mechanics, and follows the (M/G/4) :(GD/∞/∞) model. The average of the waiting time in the queue on Monday is 0,38 hours and Wednesday is 0,35 hours. The average of the customers in the queue on Monday and Wednesday is the same as much 2 customer. The average of the customers in the system on Monday and Wednesday is the sama as 5 customers. The average of the waiting times that customers spend on the system on Monday is 0,93 hour and Wednesdayis 0,94 hours and on May 22nd, 2017 is 0,81 hours. In order to calculate the queue model more quickly, a program is made using Lazarus software to search the queue model on daily data.

Abstract

ABC analysis is a method of inventory control to manage a small number of item but has a high utilization. Inventories are categorized into three classes A, B, and C. The objective of the research is to manage the inventories using ABC analysis, EOQ, ROP, and to provide an overview of the next-year demand of the drug items using Monte Carlo method. ABC analysis results show that out of 79 drug items, class A consists of 19 drug items with usage value 69,11%, class B consists of 19 drug items with usage value 20,29%, and class C consists of 41 drug items with usage value 10,60%. Based on economic order quantity method, minimum ordering quantity of drug are two items and maximum ordering quantity of drug are 96 items.Based on reorder point method, the minimum quantity of drug for reordering is zero item and the maximum quantity of drug for reordering are seven items. Monte Carlo method results show that Fludane Plus 60 ml has the minimum demand on January - Desember 2017 which is only one bottle a month and Actifed Cough Merah 60 ml has the maximum demand which is 78 - 81 bottles a month. Lapisiv 100 ml, Kamulvit B12 Sirup 120 ml, Fludane Plus 60 ml and Miconazole 2% has the highest accuration with the percentage of error 0% and Ikadryl DMP Sirup 100 mlhas the lowest accuration with the percentage of error 0,22%.

Abstract

Insurance is an agreement between the customer and insurance company, at which the insurance company bears some loss in the future and the customer pays the premium according to the agreement. Insurance company determines the amount of premiums based on mortality tables. The purpose of the research is to determine the characteristics of Indonesia mortaliy table with Kostaki interpolation method, to determine whole life insurance premium with apportionable fractional premiums model, and to determine the amount of the premium return. The results of the research indicate that in the mortality table of Indonesia in 2014, the number of female deaths tend to be lower than male at 1-74 years, but the number of deaths increased over the age of 75 years. The premiums paid by a 30 year-old male with a semester payment is Rp 2.358.988, quarterly payment is Rp 1.186.823, and monthly payment is Rp 397.253. The premiums paid by a 30 year-old female with a semester payment is Rp 2.044.666, quarterly payment is Rp 1.028.669, and monthly payment is Rp 344.242. Premium return of 30 years-old male is Rp 84.204.338 and of 30 years-old female is Rp 72.968.560.

Abstract

Literasi matematika menggunakan konteks sosial budaya masyarakat sekitar siswa akan membantu siswa dalam memaksimalkan kemampuan literasi matematikanya. Kegiatan workshop etnomatematika ini ditujukan kepada guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Kartanegara agar dapat membuat dan mengembangkan soal literasi matematika dengan pendekatakan konteks sosial budaya masyarakat Kutai. Model pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama kegiatan menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL), yang dimulai tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, hingga penutup. Sejumlah 28 guru matematika SMP berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Seluruh peserta mengumpulkan tugas proyek individu dan kelompok. Di akhir kegiatan, peserta diberi angket respon selama mengikuti workshop dan diperoleh nilai rata-rata di atas 80%. Konteks sosial budaya masyarakat kutai yang digunakan dalam soal literasi meliputi ulap doyo, tas anjat, baju manik-manik, amplang, tradisi Erau, dan objek wisata Desa Pela. Desain soal-soal literasi matematika dikumpulkan untuk menyempurnakan modul workshop dan telah mendapatkan HKI.Mathematical literacy using the socio-cultural context of the community around students will help students maximize their mathematical literacy skills. This ethnomathematics workshop activity is aimed at junior high school mathematics teachers in Kartanegara Regency, so they can create and develop mathematical literacy questions by approaching the social–cultural context of the Kutai community. The workshop participants were given a Project-based learning (PjBL) model during the activity. This activity started from the preparation, implementation, and closing stages. The participants in this workshop are 28 junior high school mathematics teachers. All participants were given an activity response questionnaire at the end of the workshop and obtained an average value above 80%. Workshop participants can design mathematical literacy questions using the socio-cultural context of the Kutai people. The context used includes doyo ulap, anjat bag, manik-manik dress, amplang, Erau tradition, and Pela village tourist attraction. Mathematical literacy problem designs were collected to complete the workshop module and have been copyrighted.

Abstract

Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) merupakan prestasi akademik Mahasiswa selama perkuliahan. Nilai IPK dapat dipengaruhi oleh gaya belajar. Penelitian terkait perbedaan IPK Mahasiswa calon guru matematika berdasarkan gaya belajar penting dilakukan, mengingat pada gilirannya mereka akan menjadi ujung tombak keberhasilan sebuah proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komparasi perbedaan nilai IPK Mahasiswa berdasarkan gaya belajarnya. Data diambil dari 111 Mahasiswa aktif yang masih mengambil mata kuliah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistika deskriptif lalu dilakukan pengujian asumsi. Karena data tidak memenuhi asumsi, maka dilanjutkan dengan analisis non parametrik yaitu Kruskal-Wallis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai IPK Mahasiswa antar kelompok gaya belajar.

Abstract

Mahasiswa dapat belajar secara mandiri atau berkelompok. Cara belajar ini dapat diklasifikasikan berdasarkan sumber belajarnya dengan menggunakan pohon keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat pohon keputusan yang dapat mengklasifikasi cara belajar mahasiswa mandiri dan berkelompok berdasarkan sumber belajarnya. Atribut pembentuk pohon keputusan ini adalah sumber belajar YouTube, buku cetak, buku elektronik, jurnal, Podcast, dan les/kursus. Data diambil dari 111 Mahasiswa yang masih mengambil mata kuliah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terbentuklah 10 aturan implikasi dengan sumber belajar YouTube sebagai faktor penentunya.

Abstract

Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) adalah indikator yang mengukur tingkat kemampuan belajar mahasiswa selama mengikuti kegiatan perkuliahan. Adapun yang harus dilakukan oleh mahasiswa adalah berusaha semaksimal mungkin agar bisa meningkatkan IPK. Beragam cara yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya adalah memilih dengan tepat mengenai media belajar kelompok, sumber belajar, atau perpaduan keduanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan perpaduan antara media belajar kelompok dan sumber belajar yang dapat meningkatkan IPK mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika. Sampel diambil sebanyak 111 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Matematika di Universitas Mulawarman. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling acak sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dengan nilai IPK sebagai variabel respon sementara perpaduan antara media belajar kelompok dan sumber belajarnya sebagai variabel dummy. Variabel dummy yang berpotensi meningkatkan IPK dipilih dengan menyeleksi variabel-variabel yang berpengaruh positif terhadap IPK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Buku Elektronik sebagai sumber belajar sangat cocok dipadukan baik dengan Telegram atau Line sebagai media belajar kelompoknya. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.113 menyampaikan masih ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi IPK selain media belajar kelompok dan sumber belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the problems of teachers, students, and teacher efforts in facing problems in the implementation of mathematics learning on the Alef Platform in class VII MTs Negeri 4 Kutai Kartanegara. This is based on problems in learning mathematics with the use of the Alef Platform. Alef Platform is a learning medium specifically designed to engage students by providing a learning experience by watching videos, playing, and practicing questions. This research is qualitative study with Miles and Huberman model. Data were collected uses observation, interviews, and documentation and data validated by uses triangulation techniques. Based on the results obtained, (1)Problems experienced by teachers were the implementation of the learning process in the preliminary activities were still not smooth, lack of creativity of teachers when using the media, teachers cannot reduce the learning features, lack of objective learning outcomes, and the lack of an objective assessment on the Alef Platform. (2)The Problems experienced by students were the number of students who forgot the password, the learning video looked very monotonous, the game features were not in accordance with the ability of students, the questions presented on the Alef Platform were so difficult to lead students to a lazy condition of doing the questions so that student’s learning motivation decreased, the student did not see the existing explanations if the student answered the wrong practical feature, and students cannot ask if having difficulty to the Alef Platform. (3)Efforts made by teachers to overcome the problem that the teacher always gave directions to the writing forgot password, how to download documents, and the teacher re-explained the material that had not been understood by the students.

Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu unsur dari perangkat ajar yang sangat menentukan keberhasilan dari suatu pembelajaran, terutama pembelajaran di SD. Namun di SDN 004 sambutan yang terletak di kota Samarinda, beberapa gurunya masih bingung dan mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun bahan ajar berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN 004 Sambutan, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan terhadap guru dalam penyusunan bahan ajar berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu identifiaksi masalah, perencanaan, pengembangan materi, pelaksanaan pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pendampingan penyusunan bahan ajar berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) adalah 1) guru SDN 004 Sambutan dapat memahami bahan ajar Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS); 2) guru SDN 004 Sambutan dapat menyusun bahan ajar berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dengan baik dan benar. Adapun hasil evaluasi dari peserta terkait kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah sangat positif, begitu juga dari segi kebermanfaatan materi yang diberikan.
