Abstract

The study with the title of a publication's media use in the promotion of a potential village in Ponorogo is aimed at identifying villages that are already using the publications and their application. The study uses library research, which involves research done by gathering information and data with the help of such materials as reference books, similar research, articles, notes and journals that deal with problems that will be solved. The population of this research is a village located in the Ponorogo district. The sample to be used is the village of Grogol, the village of Gundik, village of Karangan, village of Plunturan, village of Tonatan, village of Bringinan and village of Paringan. In the media use of publications, villages have already obtained socialization about information technology and communication. With socialization and practice, communities feel an increased understanding and skill in understanding the importance of using social media to improve village competitiveness. The use of media for village publications in Ponorogo remains to be maximum. There are still authorities and villagers who are unfamiliar with the Internet and technology. It is known that within the management of the media, there must be a need for human resources that understand the internet and technology.

Abstract

Women’s participation in the presidential election is still low, and they rarely appear in surveys and news as candidates for the 2024 Presidential election. Women are often considered more suitable to lead in the domestic sphere and less suitable for the public sphere. The role of the media in shaping people’s views on women in politics is crucial. This study uses a qualitative approach and Robert M. Entman’s framing analysis to examine news from Republika.com and Sindonews.com related to the presence of female candidates as 2024 Indonesian presidential candidates. The results showed that Sindonews.com tends to highlight the existence of female candidates positively but too narrowly focuses on gender aspects and stereotypical views of women as vice presidential candidates. Meanwhile, news from Republika.com focuses more on analyzing electability factors and political party support for female candidates, presenting a positive view of women as alternative presidential candidates. The role of the media in constructing reality must positively impact increasing women’s representation in Indonesian politics. However, the media must also be able to avoid bias and present objective and consistent information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Ponorogo district government in carrying out various efforts to promote or compare Ponorogo culture as a tourist attraction strategy. Therefore to organize an event, event management is needed. This research method uses the library research method, namely research that collects information and data with the help of various materials available on the internet and libraries, such as reference books, previous similar research results, articles, notes, and various journals. The results of this study discuss cultural events that have been held by the Ponorogo district government. In making a cultural event, the organizer also goes through several stages of event management as proposed by Goldblett (2002), namely from the research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation stages.

Abstract

Community empowerment is a growth process. The purpose of this study was to find out the promotion strategy carried out by the youth of Sidorejo Village in managing Mount Mangge tourism. This study uses qualitative methods by extracting data based on phenomena and field facts which are carried out in depth. The location of this research is in Sidorejo Village, Sukorejo District, Ponorogo Regency. Data collection techniques in this study are by observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it stated that empowering village youth was carried out to form human resources who were experts in the field of digital promotion. The strategy used by village youths is by communicating using social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as well as websites displaying information about Mount Mangge, including pictures of the peak and its facilities to attract tourists.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stigma gemblak dalam film dokumenter format lama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah data yang diperoleh melalui studi literature dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber tertulis seperti jurnal, artikel, serta beberapa dokumen yang relevan dengan kajian di dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan tindakan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat setempat untuk mempertahankan jathil lanang di desa Bedingin melalui kaderisasi, pelatihan, dan acara. Dengan upaya tersebut, diharapkan para penari jathil lanang dapat terpelihara secara emosional untuk melestarikan penari jathil lanang. Masyarakat bisa mengetahui kelanjutan eksistensi jathil lanang melalui film dokumenter Format Lama.

Abstract

Technological changes that are increasingly developing cause different services and facilities in the field of information and communication technology. Youtuber is part of the content creator as a profession that requires creativity with several skills. Another definition refers to the content of content creators who call themselves YouTubers, this happens because the label has a meaning that is considered a profession. This is one of the global professions of creative workers, who can produce monetized content as a form of income earned through the creativity of content creators. This is what most of the general public, especially millennials, interpret about the YouTuber profession. This study uses library research, where researchers use library research methods. The main differences between library research and field research lie in the purpose, function and/or location of library research in each of these studies. In library research, library research is more than just a service function such as: As a first step in preparing a research framework and/or proposal to obtain similar research information. This study aims to determine the change of profession as a YouTuber in the existing community. Thus, based on the results of the discussion, it is found that youtubers as content creators are influenced by many factors, namely ideas, the accuracy of the selection of shooting equipment, and the ability to master the material.

Abstract

Elections, hereinafter referred to as general elections, are the sovereignty of the people to elect candidates for state leaders which are conducted every 5 years. In the implementation of elections, there is an organizing body, namely the KPU, this has been mentioned in Article 22 E paragraph 5 of the 1945 Constitution which then states that general elections are held by a General Election Commission which is national, permanent and independent. The author's purpose of conducting research is to find out how effective the SIDAKU application is in managing Legal and Documentation archives at the Law and Supervision Division of the Pacitan KPU and how to organize the new work system for KPU employees. Because an organization must experience changes in every era that it goes through, that the main priority is to determine the targets to be achieved in these changes so that leaders and management can formulate an effective strategy with stages, namely, human resources, functional resources, technological capabilities, and organizational capabilities. In principle, SIDAKU is a forum for grouping all official documents that are packaged digitally at the Pacitan KPU. Pemilu yang selanjutnya disebut dengan pemilihan umum adalah kedaulatan rakyat untuk memilih calon pemimpin negara yang dilakukan setiap 5 tahun sekali. Dalam pelaksanaan pemilu terdapat lembaga penyelenggara yaitu KPU, hal ini telah disebut pada pasal 22 E ayat 5 UUD 1945 yang kemudian disebutkan pemilihan umum diselenggarakan oleh suatu Komisi Pemilihan Umum yang bersifat nasional,tetap dan mandiri. Tujuan penulis melakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif aplikasi SIDAKU dalam pengelolaan arsip Hukum dan Dokumentasi pada Divisi Hukum dan Pengawasan KPU Pacitan serta bagaimana cara pengorganisasian yang dilakukan tentang  sistem kerja yang baru kepada pegawai KPU. Karena dalam suatu organisasi pasti mengalami perubahan pada setiap zaman yang dilaluinya, bahwa yang menjadi prioritas utama adalah menentukan target yang akan dicapai dalam perubahan tersebut sehingga pemimpin dan manajemen dapat menyususn strategi yang efektif dengan tahapan yaitu, sumber daya manusia, sumber fungsional,kapabilitas teknologi, dan kapabilitas organizational. Secara prinsipil SIDAKU adalah wadah untuk pengelompokan seluruh naskah dinas yang dikemas secara digital pada KPU Pacitan.

Abstract

This activity has a focus on strengthening the community's role in creating a disaster-resilient village in Dayakan Village, Badegan District, Ponorogo Regency. The main benefit of this activity is to rebuild the community's contribution in the context of disaster management in Dayakan Village. Desa Dayakan is one of the villages which is affected by natural disasters every year such as landslides, flash floods, forest fires, and droughts. The entire Dayakan Village is located on the contours of mountainous land and most of it is forest. The implementation of this service is carried out through several activities including: (1) Socialization of program activities, (2) Strengthening the existence of disaster risk reduction (DRR) forums, (3) Disaster and emergency mitigation training, (4) Establishment of disaster posts in each hamlet, and (5) Establishment of disaster communication and information posts. In practice, the community has been very supportive of this activity through their participation in every activity held, besides that the role of the village government, DRR groups, and external institutions has also continued to be developed. The advice given in this activity is that the village government must be the motor in giving enthusiasm to the community to make the area a disaster resilient village.Keywords: Disaster Resilient Area, Community, Role

Abstract

Dinas Kominfo Ponorogo merupakan bagian dari pemerintahan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada publik. Dengan adanya krisis pandemi covid-19 ini maka media relations perlu digunkanan oleh Diskominfo Ponorogo sebagai salah satu upaya dalam memberikan informasi serta ketenangan pada masyarakat penelitian ini bertujuan unutuk membandingakan kesesuaian isi antara press release yang digunkana Diskominfo Ponorogo terkait media relations dengan pemberitaan media massa ( Jatimnow dan Solopos ) terkait kasus Covid – 19 fokus pemberitaan kasus Pondok pesantren Gontor Dua. Maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan dua teori yaitu media relations dan analisis akurasi dan nilai berita. Temuan menyatakan jika isi penulisan press release dan isi dalam berita memiliki persamaan dalam konteks isi informasi akan tetapi terdpat perbedaan dalam aktualisasi press release dan berita.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to analyse the semiotic meaning conceptualised by Roland Barthes, which includes denotative and connotative meanings. This also delves into the myths constructed by the media-related representation of gender switching in Jathil Dancers in Reog Ponorogo and its relationship with the Media Coverage of Gemblak. Researchers extracted data by collecting news from mass media portals that discussed Gemblak Ponorogo. The results showed that mass media significantly maintains people's views on culture and tradition. In Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, some media employ negative language that can influence a negative view of Gemblak. The media, with its point of view, news sources, and characterisation of those in the news, can significantly affect people's perceptions, and it continues to maintain these assumptions until now.
