Abstract

The development of technology and information in the world is progressing very rapidly, which is marked by progress in the field of information and technology, and the Indonesian nation is one of the nations involved in the progress of information media and technology. Excessive use of gadgets has a bad influence on children's social-emotional development. This research aims to examine the influence of parenting patterns in the use of gadgets on the social-emotional development of class VI at Sariwangi 1 State Elementary School using qualitative research methods using descriptive analysis research, using data collection techniques, observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. With the research results, parents at SDN 1 Sariwangi mostly apply democratic parenting patterns and there is a positive relationship between the mother's parenting style in using gadgets and the social-emotional development of Class VI children at SDN 1 Sariwangi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of parenting patterns on learning motivation in fourth grade students at SDN Cibunigeulis 4. The problem in this research is that there are students who lack motivation in studying because of problems in parenting patterns at SDN Bunigeulis 4. Methods in research This method uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation and observation. The results of this research are about the analysis of parenting patterns on the learning motivation of grade 4 students at SDN Cibunigeulis 4. There are differences in students' learning motivation in terms of their parents' parenting patterns. Parents who apply a democratic parenting style are better than parents who apply an authoritarian and permissive parenting style. Meanwhile, authoritarian parenting is a category that causes children to be more stressed and spoiled.

Abstract

In the development of children, the role of a father is very important. In addition to being the head of the family, the father figure is a protector for the child. Fathers are expected to be protectors and givers of security. The absence of a father figure will have an impact on the child's personality and psychological condition. It can also affect other aspects of the child, especially problems controlling emotions. This condition is then referred to as fatherless. Indonesia currently ranks 3rd as a fatherless country. Using a qualitative approach, this study aims to describe how fatherless impacts children's emotions. The research was conducted at Bagja Mandiri Housing, Tasikmalaya City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The key informants in this study were 3 children who experienced fatherlessness. The criteria used are divorced, divorced and dead, and the physical absence of the father. The results of the study revealed that the emotions that arise due to fatherlessness are self-harm, lingering sadness, and the compulsion to become independent individuals.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is one of the most important aspect students should have to help them in making decisions toward any problem and to understand all the changes that probably occurred in society. According to last PISA results, scientific literacy of Indonesian students categorized as low. Educational institutions and teachers have responsibilities to improve this scientific literacy. This research was conducted to analyze the scientific literacy of prospective elementary teachers. Descriptive qualitative method was used and involve research subjects as much as 120. The data taken by giving scientific literacy test. questionnaire, and interview to some research subjects. The data analysis was inductive technique, consisted of collecting, reducing, displaying, and verifying data. The result was was 47,5 and categorized as moderate. This result indicated that the lecturer may implement learning strategies where science process skill of students could be well-developed, integrate science and mathematics courses, and engage students in scientific reading

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve problem-solving skills in Natural and Social Sciences (NSS) subjects on the Food Chain through Scratch media in class V of SDN Bojongsari, Leuwisari District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects in this study were 32 class V students. Data collection techniques used included observation, testing, and documentation. The results of the study showed an increase in students' problem-solving abilities from pre-action to cycle I and cycle II. The average score of students in pre-action was 66.09 with a completion of only 31.25%. After the application of Scratch media, the average score in cycle I increased to 78.62 with a completion of 53.12%, and in cycle II it increased again to 83.56 with a completion of 78.12%. These results indicate that the application of Scratch media can effectively help students understand the concept of Food Chains and improve problem-solving abilities. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Scratch media can be an alternative effective learning media in improving students' problem-solving abilities in the Food Chain material in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat digunakan adalah Kahoot, aplikasi yang memungkinkan guru untuk membuat assessment digital interaktif. Pelatihan penggunaan Kahoot bagi guru di Kecamatan Karangnunggal, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun dan mengoperasikan alat assessment digital. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru yang sebelumnya kurang terampil dalam menggunakan teknologi, kini mampu mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan Kahoot untuk penilaian yang lebih efektif, meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode dari pelatihan adalah diskusi, simulasi dan praktek dengan 20 peserta. Pelatihan penggunaan Kahoot untuk guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Karangnunggal bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam menyusun dan mengoperasikan assessment digital. Pelatihan ini mencakup tiga tahap: penyusunan instrumen berbasis HOTS, pengenalan aplikasi Kahoot, dan praktik pengoperasian Kahoot untuk penilaian interaktif. Hasilnya, guru mampu mengintegrasikan Kahoot dalam pembelajaran secara efektif. Pelatihan Kahoot untuk guru di Kecamatan Karangnunggal berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan digital mereka dalam menyusun dan mengoperasikan assessment digital. Guru kini lebih siap mengimplementasikan assessment berbasis teknologi, meningkatkan kualitas penilaian, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan inovatif di tingkat pendidikan dasar. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of fourth-grade students in Social Studies (IPS) at SDN 3 Sukasari, due to the lack of engaging and varied learning media. The aim of this study was to improve students’ learning motivation through the use of audio-visual media such as videos and PowerPoint (PPT). The research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method involving 34 students. The results showed a significant increase in learning motivation. The average motivation at the pre-action stage was 22%. After using audio-visual media in cycle I, it increased to 76.38%, and in cycle II it further increased to 94.12%. The overall improvement from pre-action to cycle II was 72.12%. These findings indicate that audio-visual media is effective in enhancing students’ learning motivation. Therefore, it is recommended for use in elementary Social Studies learning

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mastery of ecosystem concepts. The purpose of this study is to improve the mastery of ecosystem concepts in grade 5 of SDN Sindangreret in the science learning process of the Food Chain material. The alternative solution used in this study is the application of role playing learning models in the science learning process. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 26 students as subjects. The implementation was carried out in 2 cycles. The collection techniques used were planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation sheets on mastery of ecosystem concepts with the percentage of achievement categorized as very good (86-100%), good (76-85%), moderate (60-75%), low (55-59%), and very low (?-55%). The results of the study showed an increase in mastery of ecosystem concepts from pre-action 30.76% to 61.53% in cycle I and reached 92.30% in cycle II. Based on the test results, it shows that there is an increase in mastery of ecosystem concepts from pre-action, cycle I to cycle II. So it can be concluded that the application of the role playing learning model can improve mastery of ecosystem concepts in class 5 of SDN Sindangreret. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilator belakangi oleh rendahnya penguasaan konsep ekosistem. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan penguasaan konsep ekosistem di kelas 5 SDN Sindangreret pada proses pembelajaran IPAS materi Rantai Makanan. Alternatif solusi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran role playing dalam proses pembelajaran IPAS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek sebanyak 26 peserta didik. Penerapan dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi penguasaan konsep ekosistem dengan persentase capaian berkategori sangat baik (86-100%), baik (76-85%), sedang (60-75%), rendah (55-59%), sangat rendah (?-55%). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan penguasaan konsep ekosistem dari pratindakan 30,76 % menjadi 61,53% pada siklus I dan mencapai 92,30 % pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tes tersebut menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan penguasaan konsep ekosistem dari mulai pratindakan, siklus I sampai siklus II. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran role playing dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep ekosistem di kelas 5 SDN Sindangreret.

Abstract

The problem underlying the research is that science process skills in learning, especially the subject of science and science on electricity in grade 5 of SDN Sindangreret are still relatively low. The purpose of this study is to improve science process skills by implementing the Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and McTaggart with research subjects of 26 grade 5 students. The implementation was carried out through two learning cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation sheets of students' science process skills with analysis of the percentage of achievement categorized as very good (86-100%), good (76-85%), moderate (60-75%), low (55-59%), very low (?-55%). The results showed an increase in science process skills from pre-action 38.46% to 69.23% in cycle I and reached 88.46% in cycle II. The PJBL model proved to be collaborative and independent knowledge formation. The implementation of the PJBL model has a positive impact on various aspects of learning, including students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. The PJBL model encourages meaningful learning because students play an active role in the process of discovering and constructing knowledge. Based on the test results, it shows that there is an increase in science process skills from the pre-action phase, to cycle I to cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PJBL learning model can improve science process skills in grade 5 of SDN Sindangreret, Cipawitra District in the 2025/2026 academic year. ABSTRAKMasalah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian adalah keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran khususnya mata pelajaran IPAS materi listrik di kelas 5 SDN Sindangreret yang masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart dengan subjek penelitian 26 siswa kelas 5. Penerapan dilakukan melalui dua siklus pembelajaran dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan analisis persentase capaian berkategori sangat baik (86-100%), baik (76-85%), sedang (60-75%), rendah (55-59%), sangat rendah (?-55%). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dari pratindakan 38,46% menjadi 69,23% pada siklus I dan mencapai 88,46% pada siklus II. Model PJBL terbukti kolaboratif dan pembentukan pengetahuan mandiri. Penerapan model PJBL memberikan dampak positif terhadap berbagai aspek pembelajaran, baik dari kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik siswa. Model pjbl mendorong pembelajaran yang bermakna karena siswa berperan aktif dalam proses pencarian dan pembangunan pengetahuan. Berdasarkan hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dari mulai pratindakan, ke siklus I sampai siklus II. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PJBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains di kelas 5 SDN Sindangreret Kecamatan Cipawitra Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I SDN Mugarsari. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Selama ini media yang digunakan masih terbatas pada papan tulis sehingga siswa kurang aktif, mudah gaduh, dan memiliki minat membaca yang rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan media flash card, yaitu kartu bergambar yang berisi kata, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan proses dan keterampilan membaca permulaan melalui penggunaan media flash card pada siswa kelas I SDN Mugarsari Kecamatan Tamansari Kota Tasikmalaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes lisan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa dengan rata-rata nilai 60 (22,7%) pada pra tindakan, 69,8 (54,6%) pada siklus I, dan 80 (86,4%) pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media flash card terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN Mugarsari. Kata Kunci: Media Flash Card, Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan
