Abstract

This classroom action research is motivated by the condition of the pre-research that shows students are lacking self-confidence and lack of enthusiasm in participating in educational learning with a teacher center approach. This study aims to introduce Problem-based learning with the Tri-Nga (Ngerti-Ngrasa-Nglakoni) approach to increase student passion to be ready to become vocational teachers. The study uses the Kemmis Taggart model with 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, and reflection. Study material for the first cycle of direct instruction and the second cycle of indirect instruction. The research subjects were 29 students of PKK study program in semester 3 of 2019-2020 academic class A in the FKIP UST. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews were analyzed descriptively. The results showed an increase in student passion shown by the aspects of understanding, feeling, and nglakoni which increased significantly. Students can understand the knowledge, attitudes, and skills that must be possessed by vocational teachers by analyzing learning problems in vocational schools, best practice, and reviewing instructional videos, students can appreciate the teaching profession through the study of various learning methods, and students practice learning through teaching simulations.

Abstract

Natural dyes has a feature to produce soft colors. One of the natural dyes that can be used is pinang extract which applied to the jumputan textile. This research generally try to discover the effectiveness of pinang extracts for textiles coloring in terms of color fading endurance against the washing using whiting fixator and gambir. The research was conducted in PKK FKIP UST laboratory. The research population was: textiles, pinang extract, whiting and gambir. The research samples : textiles, pinang extract, whiting and gambir with the two treatments, the 10% and 20% concentration. This research using experimental methods and then tested in the Laboratorium Balai Batik. The assessment  results  of  Indonesian  National  Standard  (SNI) is  grey  scale. Visually, the result produced light brown color without the fixator, while using the whiting fixator produced a dark brown color and gambir produced yellowish brown color. Whiting fixator better than gambir because it produce sharper colors and has a higher value of color change.

Abstract

This research generally try to determine  the effect of natural fixator from noni root   extract to dye coloring technique. The         hypothesis of this research is : There are     positive effect and significant between noni root extract in terms of color fading resistance. This research was conducted on laboratory. The population of this research was : dyeing, noni root extract, lime fixator and quicklime. Data collecting through the experiment.      Data analysis using the grey scale based        on SNI. The result shows that there are positive effect and significant because the fixator has a good resistance against the color fading on noni root extract through the ironing process. Visually, dyeing result without fixation produce a dull brown color, lime fixator tend to produce a yellowish brown and quicklime fixator tend to produce a reddish brown color.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran video  pembuatan body line dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, 2) Memperoleh media pembelajaran video pembuatan body line dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo yang layak digunakan, 3) Mengetahui tanggapan mahasiswa  terhadap media pembelajaran video pembuatan body line dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah  Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan: a) analisis, b) perencanaan, c) pengembangan dan produksi, d) uji coba implementasi, e) Evaluasi. Validasi dan reliabilitas menggunakan judgment experts oleh 2 ahli media dan 2 ahli materi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa : 1) Media pembelajaran video dengan terjemahan bisindo, 2) Kelayakan pada media  pembelajaran video dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo dengan kategori sangat layak 93.3%, 3) Tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran video dengan terjemahan bisindo termasuk dalam kategori sangat setuju  63.8% .  This study aims to: 1) Develop a video learning media for body line making equipped with bisindo translation using the ADDIE development model, 2) Obtain a video learning media for body line making equipped with bisindo translation that is suitable for use, 3) Knowing student responses to video learning media for bodyline making with bisindo translation. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model with the following stages: a) analysis, b) planning, c) development and production, d) implementation trials, e) evaluation. Validation and reliability using judgment experts by 2 media experts and 2 material experts. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of this development research are in the form of: 1) Video learning media with bisindo translation, 2) Feasibility of video learning media equipped with bisindo translation in the very feasible category of 93.3%, 3) Student responses to video learning media with bisindo translation fall into the category of strongly agree with 63.8%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini secara eksperimen murni bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fiksator jeruk nipis dan gambir dalam mebangkitkan warna alami ekstrak daun kopi pada kain jumputan. Secara komparatif untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh fiksator gambir dan jeruk nipis dalam menahan luntur warna setelah diterapkan pada kain jumputan. Penelitian ini tentang  pengaruh fiksator gambir 90 gr dan jeruk nipis 90 gr dalam membangkitkan dan mengunci warna pada kain jumputan dengan pewarna alami daun kopi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perbandingan hasil ketahanan luntur warna kain sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan treatmen dengan menggunakan alat grey schale.. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan adanya pengaruh fiksator gambir dan jeruk nipis dalam membangkitkan warna alami ekstrak daun kopi pada kain jumputan. Kedua fiksator tersebut juga berpengaruh terhadap ketahanan luntur warna pada kain jumputan setelah dilakukan uji penyetrikaan dan penodaan. Kata Kunci: fiksator, tahan luntur, daun kopi. ABSTRACT This true experimental research tries to determine the effect of lime and gambier fixators in generating the natural color of coffee leaf extract on tie dye cloth. Comparatively, to determine the difference the effect of the gambier and lime fixators in resisting color fastness after being applied to tie dye fabrics. This research is about  the effect of 90 gr gambier fixator and 90 gr lime in generating and locking the color of tie die fabric with with coffee leaf natural dyes. The data analysis technique used the comparison of the results of the color fastness of the cloth before and after the treatment using the gray schale tool. The results of this study showed the effect of gambier and lime fixators in generating the natural color of coffee leaf extract on tie die fabric. The two fixators also have an effect on the color fastness resistance of the tie dye fabric after the ironing and tarnishing tests are carried out. keyword: fixators, color fastness resistance, coffee leaf.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan pada UMKM DERIJI Craft yang berlokasi  di Dusun Plembon Yogyakarta. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membuat program sebagai upaya penyelamatan DERIJI Craft ditengah masa pandemi Covid 19, khususnya terkait dengan “social media marketing strategy”. Sehingga, materi yang disampaikan lebih menitikberatkan terhadap edukasi dan praktik pembuatan sosial media DERIJI Craft. Materi pelatihan sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh DERIJI Craft. Sehingga saat pelaksanaan kegiatan para peserta aktif dan antusias mengikuti pelatihan hingga akhir sesi. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan secara bertahap, baik secara luring maupun daring. Mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan secara luring dilaksanakan dengan penyelenggaraan pelatihan secara langsung yang bertempat di showroom DERIJI craft dengan pemilik DERIJI craft sebagai peserta kegiatan. Sementara, pelaksanaan kegiatan secara daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom dan WAG. Peserta kegiatan sejumlah 23 peserta yang terdiri dari pemilik DERIJI Craft, organisasi pemuda lokal dan masyarakat setempat. Hasil pelatihan dan penyuluhan adalah dimilikinya pengetahuan tentang pentingnya penggunaan sosial media sebagai strategi pemasaran DERIJI Craft, penggunaan sosial media berupa website, Instagram, dan Facebook DERIJI Craft, serta produk DERIJI Craft telah terdaftar dalam Bukalapak.Abstract:  Community service is carried out at DERIJI Craft SMEs that is located in Minggir District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Province. This service activity aims to save and redesign DERIJI Craft by proposing new marketing strategy time of Covid 19 pandemic, especially the use of social media marketing strategy. Thus, the material delivered is more focused on education and practice of making DERIJI Craft social media. The training material is in accordance with the problems faced by DERIJI Craft. So that during the implementation of the activity the participants were active and enthusiastic in attending the training until the end of the session. The activity is carried out in stages, both offline and online. Participants in the activity consisted of DERIJI Craft owners, local youth organization, and the general public. The result of training and counseling knowledge on how to create and implement social media as a marketing strategy of for DERIJI Craft, such as websites, Instagram, and Facebook DERIJI Craft, and marketplace Bukalapak

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies used by teachers in achieving student learning capabilities through smartphones in the face-to-face learning era at SD N Tanjungtirto 2. This study uses a qualitative approach. While the data sources are school principals, teachers in grades I – VI, and students in upper grades IV, V, VI. The methods used in data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate the strategies that are carried out by the teacher in achieving student learning capabilities through smartphone media by making planning concepts that can make it easier for students to understand the material and maximize the use of smartphone media to make students more interested in learning. The supporting factors are using the WA Group application, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, Quiz, Canva, PPT, Flipping Book, and learning videos via Youtube as a means of supporting student learning media. Obstacles faced by teachers are in the form of limited time in delivering material, quotas, signals, and rainy weather so the process of delivering material is not optimal. As well as how to overcome obstacles if you experience signal problems, the teacher can send material in the form of pdf, photos, and youtube links through the WA group or can provide compensation in the form of free quotas for students and move to a place where the internet network is more stable.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1. Develop basic learning media based on flip chart designs; 2. Knowing the feasibility of the media through expert validation; 3. Knowing the students responses to the flip chart media. This type of research is development research with a Four-D development model. The validators in this study consisted of material and media experts, as well as class X students as subjects. The object of this research is the basic learning media for flip chart-based design. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis.The results showed that: 1. The development of flip chart-based media was carried out in 4 stages, including: a. Define, which is to determine the product to be developed; b. Design, namely making product designs; c. Development, namely developing products through validation of material and media experts and conducting small-scale trials totaling 5 students, as well as limited scale trials totaling 15 students; d. Disseminate is a tested product deployment stage; 2. The flip chart-based learning media developed based on the material expert's assessment was 86.45% in the very feasible category and the media expert's assessment of 77.70% was in the feasible category; 3. The response of students to the use of small-scale flip chart-based learning media is 84.59% in the very highcategory and the assessment on a limited scale of 77.02% is in the highcategory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa E-Jobsheet; 2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran E-Jobsheet; 3) mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran E-Jobsheet pada matakuliah Desain Digital. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi PVKK bidang keahlian Tata Busana yang menempuh matakuliah Desain Digital di semester V. Spesifikasi produk yang dikembangkan berupa: 1) pengenalan dan penggunaan tools pada aplikasi CorelDraw; 2) Langkah pembuatan desain dasar dan pewarnaan secara digital; 3) Langkah-langkah pembuatan proporsi tubuh wanita sesuai ukuran yaitu klasik, modis/ ideal dan ilustrasi. Pengembangan media pembelajaran Penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi yaitu media E-Jobsheet dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil respon mahasiswa dalam menggunakan E-Jobsheet “Baik” digunakan dalam pembelajaran Desain Digital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility level of learning media. This research method uses research and development (R&D) with the Four-D Models model which consists of 4 (four) stages, namely the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The validators in this study were media experts, material experts, and class X students as subjects. The object of this research is the development of the basic pattern making media for class X dressmaking bunka system. The instrument used for research is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research, it produced learning media for making the basic pattern of the bunka system body, and the feasibility level of the learning media for making the basic pattern of the bunka system body, which is very feasible. The results of the media expert's assessment obtained a percentage score of 87.36% in the very decent category. The results of the assessment by material experts obtained a percentage of 85.52% in the very feasible category. The results of student trials on a small scale obtained a percentage of 76.35% included in the very feasible category and the results of large-scale trials obtained a percentage of 85.23% in the very feasible category. The conclusion from the study is that the feasibility test of learning media for making the basic pattern of the bunka system based on video tutorials is very feasible to use as a learning medium at SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta.
