Abstract

critical thinking skills. The type of research is meta-analysis research. The data sources in this meta-analysis research are 11 national and international journals that have been published from 2018-2023. The method of selecting data sources is the PRISMA method. The process of searching for data sources through Google Scholar, Eric and Proquest. The technique of collecting data sources is direct observation and documentation through the journal database. Data analysis is quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value, standard error and average value (mean) with the help of the JSAP application. The results of this study indicate that the average effect size value is = 0.812 with high criteria. This finding explains that the e-learning-based mind mapping model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills. The e-learning-based mind mapping model fosters critical thinking skills so that it supports students' digital literacy in learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect size of the project-based learning model on the critical thinking skills of civil engineering study program students. This type of research is a meta-analysis. Data sources come from 9 national and international journals published from 2013-2023. Search for data sources through the google scholar database, ProQuest, Eric, and Plos ONE. Data collection techniques are direct observation and documentation. The data analysis technique is a quantitative analysis technique by calculating the effect size (ES) value and the average value (mean). These results explain the average value of Effect Size (ES = 0.970) and the mean value of 80.72. This finding shows that there is a significant effect of the project-based learning model on the creative thinking skills of civil engineering study program students compared to conventional learning models.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect size of the discovery model on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is meta-analysis research. The research sample comes from the analysis of 10 national and international journals indexed by SINTA, Scopus and Web of Science. The data source search process comes from Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Eric and Wiley. The keywords for searching data sources are discovery learning model and critical thinking skills. Data collection techniques were direct observation and documentation. Data analysis is statistical analysis by calculating the effect size of each study with the help of JSAP. The results showed that the average effect size was 0.90 with very high criteria, the average value of the experimental class was 85. 90 and the control class was 72.10 and the N-gain value was 0.52. These findings indicate a positive effect of the discovery learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The discovery model helps students be more active and have higher-level thinking skills in learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Number Head Together model on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is a meta-analysis. The research sample came from 9 national and international journals. The process of searching for data sources through Google Scholar, Plos ONE, Eric, and Wiley. The data source selection method is the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) method. Data collection techniques were observation and documentation. Inclusion criteria are national and international journals published in 2015-2023; The type of research must be experimental or quasi-experimental; Data has a relationship with research variables; and Research has the value of t, F and Standard deviation test results. Data analysis used quantitative statistical data analysis by calculating the effect size value with the help of the Comprehensive meta-analysis (CMA) application. The results concluded that the average effect size value of 0.863 was high criteria and the average value of the experimental class was 82.67 while the control class was 70.52 These findings indicate that the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model has a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the jigsaw learning model based on hybrid learning on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. Data sources come from analyzing national and international journals. Inclusion criteria are research must come from Scopus and SINTA-indexed journals or proceedings; Data source searches come from Google Scholar, ERIC, IEEE, and Wiley; Research must have experimental and control classes; Research must be published from 2017-2023; Research has a relationship with research variables and research has a value (t), (r) and (f). Data analysis is quantitative statistical analysis with the help of the JSAP application. The results of this study concluded that the average value of the summary effect size or mean effect size of the entire study (ES = 0.896; p < 0.001) with very high criteria. This finding explains that the jigsaw learning model based on hybridized learning has a great influence on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Blended learning model research has been widely carried out in the world of education, but no meta-analysis of blended learning models has been found on students' digital literacy. This research aims to determine the effect of the blended learning model on students' digital literacy. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. This research analyzes 11 effect sizes sourced from Google Scholar, ERIC, ScienceDirect and Wiley from 2019-2023 which includes 220 students. Data analysis with the help of the JSAP application. This research concludes that the summary effect size value obtained from the random effect model is 0.793 with medium criteria. These findings show that the blended learning model can have a significant influence on students' digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect size of ethnoscience-the based project-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is a meta-analysis. Data sources come from 20 national and international journals published from 2015-2023.  The search for data sources comes from the google scholar journal database, Eric, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest. The process of selecting data sources using the PRISMA method. Data collection techniques through direct observation and documentation through journal databases. The data analysis technique in this meta-analysis is quantitative statistical analysis with the help of the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) version 3.0 application. The results showed an average effect size of 0.827 with high criteria and a standard error of 0.088. This finding shows that the ethnoscience-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model has a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the size effect of the STEM-based mind mapping learning model to increase students' scientific literacy in the revolutionary era 4.0. This type of research is meta-analysis. The research samples came from 15 national and international journals published from 2018-2023. The method for selecting this meta-analysis research data is through the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Search for data sources through Google Scholar, Wiley, Eric and ProQuest. Data source collection techniques are direct observation and documentation through online databases. Data analysis is a quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size, standard error and average value with the help of the JSAP application. The results showed that from this study it could be concluded that the combined effect size value was (d = 1.30; p < 0.05) high criteria. These findings explain that STEM-based mind mapping models are more effective in improving scientific literacy skills in the 4.0 revolution era than conventional learning models. The STEM-based mind mapping learning model provides a new breakthrough in the world of educational technology.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of STEAM-based hybrid based learning model on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. The research data came from 15 national and international journals. The process of searching for data sources through the google scholar database, Science Direct, Eric, Plos ONE and Wiley. The data selection method is the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method. The inclusion criteria for this meta-analysis research are that the research must be published in the last 5 years 2018-2023, the research must use experimental or quasi-experimental methods, the research must have an experimental class that applies a hybrid-based learning model and a control class, the research comes from journals indexed by SINTA and Scopus, and the research has complete data to calculate the effect size. The data analysis technique is quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value, research heterogeneity and publication bias with the help of the Comprehensive Meta-analysis (CMA) version.3 application. The results of the study concluded that the summary effect size or average effect size (p < 0.01; ES = 1.052) criteria were strong. This finding explains that the hybrid-based learning model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills. This STEAM-based hybrid-based learning model has a higher effect on students' critical thinking skills than the conventional model. Model has a high influence on students' critical thinking skills than conventional models

Abstract

The research objective is to determine the effectiveness of the Internet of Things (IoT)-based Flipped Classroom model on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is meta-analysis research. Data sources come from national and international journals. The inclusion criteria in this research are that research must come from journals and proceedings indexed by SINTA, WOS and Scopus; Research from journals published from 2019-2023; Research must use experimental or quasi-experimental methods; Data source searches must be from the G,oogle Scholar, Taylor & Francis, ScienceDirect, IEEE, and ERIC databases; and Research reports values (t), (r) and (f) and sample size > 20 students. Data analysis with the help of the JSAP application. The results of this study conclude that the summary effect size or mean effect size (rRE = 0.764; p < 0.001) has a high influence. In this meta-analysis, the author, year of publication, country of research, values (r), (t), and (f) are analyzed. These findings show that the Internet of Things (IoT) based flipped classroom model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills
