Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a two-leaf automatic door sytem that opens towards the inside by utilizing an arduino microcontroller, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and servo motor. The test results show that the system can work responsively and stably with a good level of detection accuracy and servo movement symmetry. This system has potential to be implemented on a small scale in residential homes, laboratories, or other semi-automatic public spased.

Abstract

Electrical system use one single source are often vulnerable to disruptions, especially in area with unstable electricity supply. This study presents the development and implementation of an automation system for seamless power transfer management between three primary sources: PLN, PLTS and Genset. The primary objective of this system are to improve electricity supply, optimize renewable use energy, and reduce operational cost. Relay are used as crucial actuator to automatically switch between power source based on pre-set priority logic. When the PLN power source voltage range from 180.3 to 260.2 volt, the automation system immediately switch to the first backup power source, the PLTS, with a voltage range of 220.2 volt. When the PLN and PLTS voltage are 0 volt, the automation system switch to the second backup power source, the genset, with a voltage range of 220.2 volt. If the PLTS and Genset are 0 volt, the system will return to the primary priority source, the PLN, with a voltage range of 220.2 volt. Simulation test results show that the system is afford of detecting power availability and quality from each power source and automatically transitioning power with a fast response time. The implementation of relay ensures effective isolation and reliable switching control.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of sunlight intensity on the electrical energy generated by polycrystalline solar panels. The solar power plant system was designed simply and measurements were taken over three days using a lux meter, thermometer, ampere meter, and power meter. Data were analyzed using SPSS through correlation tests and multiple linear regression. The results show that light intensity (lux) has a dominant influence with an average contribution of 68.2% to electrical power. The maximum power recorded was 76 Watts on May 18, 83.3 Watts on June 1, and 85 Watts on June 27, 2025. Other environmental variables such as panel surface temperature, ambient temperature, and humidity also have an influence but on a smaller scale. In conclusion, light intensity plays a significant role in solar panel performance and is a major factor in solar power plant system planning.

Abstract

Keberadaan kemasan yang terkontaminasi logam dalam proses produksi industri kosmetik atau makanan dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas produk akhir dan membahayakan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem deteksi logam otomatis sederhana berbasis komponen analog dan mampu memilah benda yang terkontaminasi secara langsung serta mudah dalam perawatan. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan sensor Metal detektor garret, Relay my2, Relay timer, solenoid valve, dan pneumatic. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sensor tersebut mampu mendeteksi kemasan jar dan roti berisi baut, mur dan jarum untuk menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi dan memilah kemasan yang terkontaminasi logam. Pada percobaan tersebut alat metal detektor dapat bekerja dengan baik dan mampu mendeteksi adanya logam serta mampu memilah kemasan yang terdapat logam.

Abstract

The rapid development of electronic systems has increased the need for accurate frequency measurement because many electrical and digital devices depend on stable operating frequencies for proper performance. In routine laboratory and field work, digital multimeters are frequently used for frequency checks due to their practicality and availability, yet their readings may be affected by signal conditions and instrument processing limits. This study aims to assemble and evaluate a low-cost digital frequency counter based on the PIC16F628A microcontroller for measuring crystal oscillators and external frequency signals, while benchmarking its readings against a digital multimeter. An experimental quantitative approach was applied that included hardware assembly, schematic reconstruction through PCB trace inspection, block-level functional analysis, and measurement testing using five crystal oscillators and externally generated reference signals derived from a 32.768 kHz source with frequency division. Data were recorded across test points from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz and summarized through direct comparison between nominal frequencies and instrument readings. The frequency counter produced readings that matched the nominal test frequencies across all external test points within the display resolution limits. Crystal testing also yielded values close to nominal specifications (e.g., 8.0002 MHz for 8 MHz and 11.998 MHz for 12 MHz). The digital multimeter showed small frequency-dependent offsets at higher test points (e.g., 32.770 kHz at 32.768 kHz). These results indicate that the dedicated counter delivers stable measurements across the evaluated range. This work offers a practical reference for electronics education and routine verification by combining schematic reconstruction, reproducible block-level documentation, and empirical validation of a kit-based instrument, providing added value beyond prior studies that emphasize either theory or new system design.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang digital, kecemasan teknologi, dan keterbatasan infrastruktur sekolah menjadi hambatan utama guru di Kabupaten Karawang dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi modern. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan teknologi guru melalui pengenalan computational thinking dan Kecerdasan Artifisial (KA). Metode Training, Monitoring, dan Evaluation berbasis Project-Based Learning (PBL) diterapkan kepada 49 guru SMP di Kabupaten Karawang selama empat bulan. Evaluasi program diukur melalui pre-test, post-test, serta penilaian portofolio tugas. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan guru secara signifikan sebesar +12,04% (nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 69,26% menjadi 81,30%). Selain itu, capaian keterampilan praktis peserta pada penugasan sangat unggul dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 83,45%. Kegiatan ini sukses mengubah pola pandang guru menjadi lebih kreatif dan inovatof serta mendorong terbentuknya komunitas guru-guru yang kreatif dan inovatf dalam menggunakan teknologi di Karawang.Abstract: Lack of digital knowledge, technological anxiety, and limited school infrastructure are the main obstacles for teachers in Karawang Regency in integrating modern technology. This community service aims to improve teachers' technological knowledge through the introduction of computational thinking and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Training, Monitoring, and Evaluation method based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) was implemented for 49 junior high school teachers in Karawang Regency for four months. Program evaluation was measured through pre-tests, post-tests, and assignment portfolio assessments. The community service results showed a significant improvement for teachers by +12.04% (the average score increased from 69.26% to 81.30%). In addition, the participants' practical skill achievements in the assignments were excellent, with an average score of 83.45%. This activity successfully transformed teachers' mindsets to be more creative and innovative, as well as fostered the formation of a community of creative and innovative teachers in utilizing technology in Karawang.
