Abstract

The accusation of Islamic boarding schools as hotbeds of terrorism is still a phenomenal issue. This is contrary to the values of Islamic boarding schools which uphold peace. This study aims to narrate the implications of peace education in Islamic boarding schools in responding to the issue of terrorism. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies to be analyzed using Miles and Huberman's model. This research shows: (1) Teaching materials (textbooks) and Al-Irsyad Islamic Boarding School regulations direct students to an ideology that is highly anti-terrorism, this data is taken from the description of the responses that researchers see from the side of perception with convincing statements that peace is a nature that must be attempted, either with a theological or rational approach. This response was strengthened by the views of the management and students who stated that peace is a common property so that all acts of terrorism are not part of Jihad. (2) Santri's response to terrorism has implications for strengthening social solidarity, building tasamuh attitudes, establishing mutual assistance, being fair and wise, and understanding diversity. The second result contributes to fighting accusations of Islamic boarding schools as hotbeds of terrorism, while simultaneously confirming that peace education in Islamic boarding schools can be used as a model for public schools in fighting terrorism issues.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini merupakan suatu upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris analytical exposition text pada siswa kelas XI IPA 6 SMA Negeri 1 Gedeg Kabupaten Mojokerto. Penelitian sebagai jawaban dari kesulitan guru bahasa Inggris ketika membelajarkan materi analytical exposition text mengamati dan merasakan siswa tidak memiliki semangat dan motivasi serta ogah-ogahan mengingat materi ini memang sangat sulit. Penelitian menggunakan dua siklus dengan menggunakan model pendekatan Pembelajaran yang Mendidik. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dari proses pengamatan terhadap aktifitas guru dan siswa dan angket serta wawancara dengan siswa menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model Pembelajaran yang Mendidik dapat meningkatkan kesadaran emosional siswa sebagai berikut: a. terjadi peningkatan sebesar 6% perencanaan guru pada siklus I 80% menjadi 86% pada siklus II, b. mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14% pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendidik dari siklus I 76% menjadi 90% pada siklus II, dan c. terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 18% aktifitas kesadaran emosional siswa pada siklus I 66% menjadi 84% pada siklus II. Hal yang demikian juga didukung oleh hasil pengamatan dan wawancara kepada siswa yang menunjukkan model Pembelajaran yang Mendidik mampu meningkatkan kesadaran emosional siswa.

Abstract

Acts of violence, both verbal and non-verbal, that threaten children often occur in interactions between adults and children. Acts of violence like this are very counterproductive in the world of education. This article aims to analyze how the Prophet PBUH interacted with kids who had their universe. Following that, a descriptive analysis was conducted on the hadiths about the Prophet's contact with children that were recorded in the hadith books. Child-friendly education is a concept that emphasizes the importance of fostering a sense of safety and enjoyment in children. The Prophet's interactions with children provide valuable guidelines for child-friendly education. He greets them with a sense of security, appreciates their unique world, and allows them to play without scolding. He encourages sadness by joking with them and does not discriminate against children based on gender. This child-friendly educational model deserves further research to identify more comprehensive and in-depth prophetic education methods. The Prophet's affectionate approach towards children makes him a valuable model for educators.

Abstract

This study analyzes the water quality and pollution control of the Bangkok River in Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, which is increasingly under anthropogenic pressure, including industrial waste, agricultural runoff, and domestic waste. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the current water quality conditions using the Pollution Index (IP) and STORET methods, as well as to identify the primary pollutants affecting water quality. Samples were collected from three monitoring points—upstream, middle, and downstream—using grab sampling. Parameters analyzed included BOD, COD, NH3-N, DO, and fecal coliform, which were compared to Indonesia’s Class II water quality standards. The results showed that the concentrations of BOD, COD, NH3-N, and fecal coliform exceeded the threshold, particularly downstream, indicating high pollution loads. Based on the IP and STORET assessments, the river was classified as moderately to heavily polluted. These findings highlight the need for stricter industrial waste management and an integrated water management strategy to restore the river's ecosystem.

Abstract

Salah satu kewajiban suami ketika sudah membina rumah tangga adalah memberikan nafkah kepada istri dan anak-anaknya. Nafkah merupakan hal wajib yang harus diberikan kepada istri oleh suaminya. Ada kewajiban maka ada pula hak yang harus didapatkan. Ketika suami memberikan nafkah maka istri sepatutnya sudah melayani suami.  pertukaran peran pencari nafkah antara suami istri bukan lagi menjadi hal baru dalam sebagian masyarakat. Pertukaran peran tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa alasan salah satunya karena kurangnya ataupun tidak adanya nafkah yang diberikan oleh suami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana Kompilasi Hukum Islam dan Maslahah mursalah dalam menyikapi permasalahan pertukaran peran pencari nafkah antar suami dan istri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perspektif kompilasi Hukum Islam dan maslahah mursalah terhadap permasalahan pertukaran peran pencari nafkah antar suami dan istri. Hasil dari penelitian praktik pertukaran peran pencari nafkah antar suami dan istri tersebut merupakan suatu kemaslahatan yang memenuhi kriteria maqashid syariah, dan termasuk pada kualifikasi maslahah dharuriyyah yaitu kemaslahatan yang bersifat esensial bagi kehidupan manusia dan maslahah hajiyyah yaitu kemaslahatan yang tujuannya untuk mengatasi suatu kesulitan hidup berupa kurangnya pemenuhan ekonomi dalam rumah tangga. Maslahah ini berkaitan dengan hifdzun nasl dan hifdzun mal yaitu menjaga keutuhan keluarga dan keturunan dan juga perekonomian dalam rumah tangga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh data observasi yang menunjukkan perolehan hasil belajar al-Qur’an hadits materi hadits keutamaan memberi siswa sangat rendah. Untuk merespons hal itu maka peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai pada penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Untuk mengatahui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Al-Qur’an hadits, (2) Untuk mengatahui hasil belajar siswa kelas VI semester I di MI Matholi’ul Huda 02 Troso tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an hadits materi  keutamaan memberi setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI MI Matholi’ul Huda 02 Troso yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes, sedangkan teknik analisa data menggunakan teknik holberman yaitu reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode Problem Based Learning, ini mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil tiap siklus yang dilakukan. Perincian nilai rata-rata pra-siklus rata-ratanya adalah 66. Posttes siklus I nilai rata-ratanya adalah 71,8. Posttes siklus II nilai rata-ratanya adalah 75,5. Posttes siklus III nilai rata-ratanya adalah 85. Peningkatan hasil belajar dapat dilihat dari nilai normal gain tiap siklusnya, yakni   hhN-gain siklus I adalah 0,52. N-gain siklus II adalah 0,53 dan  N-gain siklus III adalah 0,727 atau bisa dibulatkan menjadi 0,73. Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Al Qur’an Hadis dengan menggunakan metode Problem Based Learning, dirasa sudah maksimal karena pencapain nilai diatas KKM sudah melebihi target yang cukup tinggi yaitu 87%.

Abstract

The role of Probation Officers in the criminal justice system in Indonesia has become increasingly significant following the enactment of Law No. 11/2012 concerning the Juvenile Justice System Law, particularly in terms of guidance and supervision closely correlated with the success rate in the reintegration process of former inmates. However, based on the Prison Database System, the number of PKs in Indonesia still needs to be ideal. The ideal ratio of Probation Officers to clients handled is 9,975, but as of November 2023, only 2,851 Probation Officers positions have been filled, resulting in a deficit of 7,124 officers. This research aims to understand the urgency of appointing voluntary probation officers, analyze the practices of voluntary probation officers in other countries, and project the mechanisms for criteria, appointment procedures, task implementation, and working relationships of voluntary probation officers. The method employed is a literature review involving collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing existing knowledge from various written sources to support or provide a basis for the ongoing research. This research indicates that forming voluntary Probation Officers is an alternative solution to meet staffing needs. Additionally, the establishment of the position of voluntary Probation Officer aligns with Government Regulation No. 31/1999 regarding the Development and Guidance of Inmates, which outlines the procedures and requirements for the establishment of voluntary Probation Officers. In practice, voluntary Probation Officers, also known globally as Volunteer Probation Officers (VPO), in Japan have been deemed successful due to their financial efficiency and service effectiveness. In conclusion, establishing voluntary Probation Officers is an alternative solution that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights should promptly realize. Moreover, the successful practices of voluntary probation officers in various countries, including Japan, can guide the design of policies that encompass criteria, procedures, rights, and responsibilities.
