Abstract

This study aims to examine the differences in the concept of religious education in the perspective of Islamic theology and the Western world. This study uses qualitative research methods to explore information related to the central theme of theology in religious Education. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is obtained that research data shows that the western model of education does not have space for the conception of God will, God pleasure, the conception of human servitude to God, let alone the conception of post-world life. The Western view is more concerned with human-centric interests without trying to relate it to the intervention of the Ultimate Reality. This causes education to lead people to become materialistic, hedonistic, pragmatic, and sometimes fall into the atheistic valley. As a result, the existence of the psyche, credo, and spirituality is not touched, so that humans become worried, restless, and restless due to the worship of the results of human thought. While education from an Islamic point of view, especially that which is supported by theological understanding, provides enlightenment for educational problems. Islam does not mean that it does not optimally view human abilities, but behind all that the achievement of human progress as a result of the educational process remains in the corridor of God relationship and involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the religious moderation teachings of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah in the concepts of Nusantara Islam and Progressive Islam and their relation to the verses of the Qur'an. The type of research is literature study with a qualitative approach that describes and analyzes library data, in the form of books, journals, magazines, and news relevant to the research theme. The results showed that; first, the teachings of religious moderation in NU are illustrated through the jargon of Islam Nusantara, while Muhammadiyah is through Progressive Islam. Second, the alternation of religious moderation between NU and Muhammadiyah is related to the Koranic verse, namely they both uphold an attitude of peace (Al Baqarah: 143), help each other (Al-Maidah: 2), and obey the leader (Annisa 59). Third, the symbol of religious moderation of NU and Muhammadiyah is more directed to pluralistic values that are in accordance with the context of Islam in Indonesia which is plural so that it does not conflict with the contents of the QS. Al-Hujurat Paragraph 13. This research can be used as a means of expanding views so that people think more intelligently and clearly, and avoid acts of violence that are very contrary to Wasathiyah values.

Abstract

Philosophy that makes reason as a rejection is contrary to religion that comes from revelation. This understanding often leads to ideological resistance. This study aims to determine the relationship between philosophy and Islamic science that uses reason as a role. The purpose of this research is discussed through a literature study that examines problems in Al-Farabi's perspective. From the analysis, it is known that the philosophical theories of Al-Farabi's thoughts such as emanation theory, political theory, and metaphysical theory are able to connect philosophical concepts with religious science. Al-Farabi views science as the result of theorizing on various observations of the five senses and the mind of the many phenomena that are physical in nature. Al-Farabi had also mastered philosophy and believed in Islamic sources, and accepted them with reason and logic. Among the evidence that states the relationship between philosophy and religion according to Al-Farabi is the existence of a reciprocal relationship in terms of truth/haqq, philosophers and priests, or the concept of state and religion.

Abstract

This study aims to develop augmented reality as an anti-corruption educational media in the teaching of Islamic religious education. Data processing using research and development methods ADDIE model. Validity tests and measurement of N-Gain scores were used to see the effectiveness of the product. Three junior high schools with different environmental characteristics participated in this study. The findings of this study indicate that; first, the development of augmented reality for the realm of anti-corruption education can be adapted to the Basic Competencies of Islamic Religious Education subjects on the themes of honesty, trustworthiness, and istiqomah for class VII Semester 2. Second, there is an increase in knowledge of the value of anti-corruption education for students of SMP N 02 Bawang by 79.5%, 79% of students of SMP N 01 Subah, and 80.44% of SMP N 01 Batang students. On the N-gain scale, the three achievements are considered effective. In fact, the environmental characteristics of the three schools are different. SMP N 02 Bawang is located in a mountainous area, SMP N 01 Subah is located in the northern coastal area, while SMP N 01 Batang is located in an urban area. This raises the meaning that augmented reality has a good impact on increasing anti-corruption knowledge in educational teaching in institutions with different environmental characteristics. This study recommends that these findings can be used as a basis for consideration in determining policies and implementing anti-corruption education in augmented reality technology-based junior high schools.

Abstract

This study aims to execute the entrepreneurship education strategy implemented by Salaf Islamic boarding schools. This qualitative research collects data through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models. This research shows that the alleged educational pattern of the Salaf Islamic boarding schools which ignores worldly problems, in fact has a very systematic pattern of entrepreneurship education. The results of this study provide a clear explanation of how the entrepreneurship education system in Islamic boarding schools is very well coordinated. Santri who are at the age of children are given educational provisions in the character of honesty, leadership, understanding opportunities, and cooperation so that they are able to become entrepreneurs who bring benefits to all people. Interestingly, this kind of character education is delivered in Islamic ways, namely using the study of arba'in hadiths. Considering that entrepreneurship character education alone is not enough to produce talented entrepreneurs, students who are in their teens are also given training to be able to choose good raw materials, understand how and what objects must be produced, and even learn to market their products within the pesantren. Apart from that, the pesantren also provides facilities for adult students to master marketing techniques, with the aim that the products produced can be in demand and known by the wider community. The contribution of this research can be used as a guideline for Islamic boarding schools to formulate policies so that entrepreneurship education programs can be implemented optimally in Islamic boarding schools.
