Abstract

The task of the student is one of the assessment of student learning outcomes, the students who do not collect the task due to forgetting or not knowing the duty of the lecturer is very detrimental to the students. The tasks collected with the softcopy type sometimes troubled the students in collecting and also making it difficult for the lecturers to make all student assignments. By utilizing technology in supporting the lectures, mobile applications that are built to help students and lecturers in the lecture. Applications are built consisting of two sides, the first web application that will be used lecturers concerned in managing student tasks. Second, mobile-based applications that will be paired to student mobile devices that will interact with lecturers.

Abstract

At Lancang Kuning University, there were no facilities that could be used in the preparation of university accreditation instruments, while the need for accreditation data was greatly needed by the academics of the yellowish university in the preparation of accreditation instruments for universities and study programs so that they were still having difficulty filing and presenting form data information, plans strategic and operational and self-evaluation plan along with the documents needed during the visitation activity by the assessor of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). With the use of information technology in the application of computerized based applications for filing and presenting accreditation data needs, it is expected to help the academic community more quickly and precisely in the data processing instrument for accreditation. It is expected that with the development of archiving applications and the presentation of accreditation instruments with the completion of the System Development Lyfe Cycle (SDLC) method in the problem analysis phase, the applications built can improve the quality of accreditation instruments in data processing that are well integrated and can be utilized at any time by the community the Lancang Kuning university.

Abstract

Decision Support System (Decision Support System) is designed to produce a variety of alternatives offered to decision-makers, because most of the decision-making process that shapes the selection of alternatives to be selected, a particular mechanism, with the hope of producing a good decision. The method used for the selection of decision is Teqnique for Order Preferences by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) that can help find the optimum solutions or alternatives to a problem. This method can help decision makers in the situation where there are many alternative decisions with multiple criteria, to choose quality seeds of mango.

Abstract

Computer-based information systems are very influential in the world of work, as well as web-based information systems are used as a means of information enhancement. Utilization will facilitate a job as well as faster data processing, the decision to be taken more precisely, saving time and cost. Because the needs of the yellowish university to realize the vision and mission must be in line with the activities undertaken, one of them by producing a paper or a scientific paper lecturer who indexed such as scopus and thompson, so the yellowish university held an international Conference held in cooperation with other universities, both domestic and foreign, this requires a media or information that can be accessed by lecturers in the country and abroad in terms of registration of scientific work to be on international Conference activities with online-based. In the international Conference that will be held university of lancang kuning no media that can be used as a means to promote, because this is considered very important for the achievement of the purpose of international Conference activities to be implemented. The method used by collecting existing data and analyzing problems in the collection and adjustment of Paper International Conference. The general purpose of this research is to build an E-register paper application to make it easier for users to register papers for seminars at youthful university.

Abstract

Balai Kekarantinaan Kesehatan (BKK) Pekanbaru adalah kantor pemerintahan yang fokus pada kesehatan lingkungan, termasuk surveilans kesehatan kapal, masyarakat, dan faktor penyakit tidak menular di berbagai kantor cabang di Provinsi Riau. Namun, pengolahan data dan pendataan dokumen dari kegiatan dinas luar belum terintegrasi dengan baik, meskipun sudah tersedia sumber daya dan perangkat komputer. Sistem yang ada perlu diperbaiki agar data dapat diolah dan diakses dengan lebih efisien, termasuk memungkinkan karyawan untuk meng-input data secara langsung dari lokasi dinas luar. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah menggunakan Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) berbasis online yang dapat diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat mengintegrasikan pengolahan data dan mempercepat penyajian informasi ke kantor pusat di Pekanbaru. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), diharapkan pengolahan data menjadi lebih efisien dan aman, serta dapat membantu BKK Pekanbaru dalam mengelola data dinas luar secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of imbalanced sentiment classes in hotel review datasets obtained from Traveloka by integrating SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique) with ensemble machine learning methods. The study aimed to enhance the classification of Positive, Negative, and Neutral sentiments in customer reviews. Data preprocessing techniques, including tokenization, stemming, and stopword removal, prepared the textual data for analysis. Various machine learning models—CART, KNN, Naive Bayes, and Random Forest—were evaluated individually and in ensemble configurations such as Bagging, Stacking, Soft Voting, and Hard Voting. The Stacking ensemble approach, utilizing Logistic Regression as a meta-classifier, demonstrated superior performance with an accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of 88%, outperforming Bagging (86%), Hard Voting (84%), and Soft Voting (81%). The findings highlight the effectiveness of SMOTE in balancing sentiment classes, particularly improving the classification of underrepresented Neutral and Negative categories. The novelty of this study lies in the comprehensive use of ensemble techniques combined with SMOTE, which significantly enhanced prediction stability and accuracy compared to previous approaches. These results provide valuable insights into leveraging advanced machine learning techniques for sentiment analysis, offering practical implications for improving customer experience and service quality in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Intent Sentiment Analysis on Twitter data related to the Village Fund program, leveraging Multinomial Naïve Bayes (MNB) and enhancing it with Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) and XGBoost (XGB). The analysis categorizes tweets into six labels: Optimistic, Pessimistic, Advice, Satire, Appreciation, and No Intent. Initially, the MNB model achieved an accuracy of 67% on a 90:10 data split. By applying SMOTE, accuracy improved by 12%, reaching 89%. However, adding Chi-Square feature selection did not increase accuracy further. Incorporating XGB into the MNB+SMOTE model led to a 6% improvement, achieving a final accuracy of 95%. Comprehensive model evaluation revealed that the MNB+SMOTE+XGB model achieved 96% accuracy, 96% precision, 96% recall, and a 96% F1-score, with an AUC of 99%, categorizing it as excellent. These findings demonstrate that the combination of SMOTE for addressing class imbalance and XGBoost for boosting performance significantly enhances the MNB model's classification capabilities. The novelty lies in the integration of these techniques to improve intent sentiment classification for public opinion analysis on the Village Fund program. The results indicate that the majority of tweets labeled as "No Intent" reflect a lack of specific sentiment or actionable intent, providing valuable insights into public perception of the program.

Abstract

Police in the SPKT (Integrated Police Service Center) have a function that serves complaints from people who are involved in criminal acts, namely reports of fraud, robbery, embezzlement, robbery, loss of valuables, and so on. Due to complaints from the public at this time, the community needs fast service at the SPKT section. Because SPKT is the spearhead of the police service in providing services to the community to improve and facilitate the services needed by software. At the West Padang Police, if the community makes a complaint or request to the SPKT (Integrated Police Service Center), officers still use a conventional or un-computerized system the weakness of this system is that it is very possible that during the process there is an error in recording, inaccurate reports made, delays in finding the required data STTLP (Police Report Receipt), the officer must rewrite the book for archiving, then if the public makes a second request the officer must rewrite the applicant's data because it takes a long time to search for data.

Abstract

Instagram merupukan salah satu media yang digunakan untuk melakukan promosi, dimana jangkauan instagram saat ini sangat luas. Pengguna internet yang menggunakan Instagram pun sekarang sangat banyak. Saat ini Pengurus pondok pesantren ingin meningkatkan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat dengan menyediakan informasi yang dapat diakses secara cepat, tepat dan akurat dengan cara menyajikan sebuah informasi yang memiliki desain yang menarik dan mudah saat publikasikan melalui media sosial.
