Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of critical thinking learning skills, increase in student biology learning activities, improve the management of biology learning through the application of contextual learning models on plantae material in grade X of SMA Muhammadiyah 11 Padangsidimpuan. The validation of the second cycle test above shows that from the questions prepared, 5 questions are invalid and 10 questions are valid according to the calculation. in the first cycle an average score of 74.32 was obtained with the number of students who completed it as many as 18 people and the remaining 7 students were declared incomplete with the applicable KKM score of 75, then the PKK score of the overall learning outcomes of the first cycle was 72.02%. In the second cycle, an average score of 78.4 was obtained with the number of students who completed reaching KKM, namely 75 was 21 people and the remaining 4 people were declared incomplete, obtained by PKK in the second cycle was 84.18% categorized (Very Good).

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning process in the classroom is still carried out conventionally, where learning is still dominated by teachers. So far, students learn science only based on the material in the textbook and are very far from the real life of students The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of student biology learning outcomes through the application of a contextual approach to Cell Reproduction material in class XII of SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan for the 2021-2022 academic year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Where the subject of the study was class XII students of SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan consisting of 29 students. While data collection techniques and tools are tests and observations. Based on the results of the biology learning outcomes test of cycle I students of 68.9% and cycle II of 82.7%. And the results of an increase in student activity levels in cycle I by 61.7% and in cycle II by 76.3% then an increase in teacher activity in managing learning cycle I by 73.6% and cycle II by 80%.

Abstract

The basis of this research is that the teaching materials created by teachers in the Southern Tapanuli area have not incorporated many models based on local wisdom such as Dalihan Natolu and Marsialap ari. These teaching materials can be utilized to evoke students’ cultural values, character, and creativity. Efforts to enhance student creativity in biotechnology learning still need to be implemented, as the learning process is too fast and students’ understanding is still lacking. This research aims to determine whether the module developed is suitable for use as Biotechnology teaching material in high school based on the BNSP assessment criteria. Additionally, it aims to observe the effectiveness of students using a biology module based on local wisdom (Marsialap ari) assisted by the Canva application on biotechnology material as teaching material in learning for the tenth-grade students in SMA/MA majoring in science. This research is a 4D model development research with research procedures that include defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research results can be obtained from the data obtained from several validators, both quantitatively and qualitatively, using descriptive statistical analysis calculations. The module validity of 76.6 - 100% is categorized as valid criteria and LKPD content validity of 80 - 93% is categorized as valid criteria. The product of this research is a biotechnology teaching module based on the local wisdom of Marsialap ari for SMA/MA students. The effectiveness of the module was evaluated based on student performance, with an average of 95 categorized as effective and an average of 90.3 categorized as very creative. In conclusion, the Biotechnology module based on Marsialap ari, assisted by the Canva application, is declared valid for use in studying biology and can enhance students’ creativity in learning biology.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya minat peserta didik terhadap mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar implementasi model pembelajaran diskusi kelas upaya meningkatkan minat belajar mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penulis adalah penelitian Asosiatif. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket . Penulis menetapkan skor tertinggi yaitu 5 dan terendah 1. Berdasarkan analisis diatas maka diperoleh rhitung  0,835 dengan melihat daftar rtabel dengan jumlah tabel 28, selanjutnya dikonsultasikan dengan rtabel dengan taraf kesalahan yang yang ditetapkan 1% maka diperoleh harga 0,478 ternyata rhitung lebih besar dari pada rtabel yakni 0,835>0,478, maka hipotesis alternative (Ha) dapat diterima artinya ada implementasi model pembelajaran diskusi kelas upaya meningkatkan minat belajar peserta  didik  di  kelas  VIII  MTs  Muhammadiyah  22  Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the improvement of student biology learning outcomes which are one of the most important things in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of student activity biology and abilities through the application of learning models based on Structured Dyadic Methods (HR) on Waste and Recycling material in class X.IPA.1 SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan Utara academic year 2017-2018. This type of research is classroom action research. Where the subject of the study was class X.IPA students of SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan Utara consisting of 25 students. While data collection techniques and tools are tests and observations. The biology learning outcomes test of cycle I students was 76% and cycle II was 84.33%. Increased student activity levels in cycle I by 68.00% and in cycle II by 86.40% then increased teacher ability in managing learning cycle I by 75.00% and cycle II 91.00%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian  ini  adalah utuk mengetahui peningkatan  berpikir  kritis biologi siswa melalui penerapan model PBL dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar biologi siswa melalui penerapan model PBL di kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat  ditarik  kesimpulan sebagai berikut:  peningkatan  berpikir kritis biologi siswa melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi  pencemaran  lingkungan  di  Kelas  X-1  SMA  Negeri  5  Padangsidimpuan Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I meningkat pada siklus II dimana termasuk kriteria baik. Hal ini menunjukkan berpikir kritis siswa telah meningkat dan memenuhi indikator keberhasilan sebesar ≥ 80%. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar biologi siswa melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I  meningkat  pada siklus II dimana termasuk kriteria baik. Abstract

The application of probing and prompting techniques is the application of science and technology by conducting investigations or examinations by relating questions in the form of cause and effect aimed at encouraging or guiding the achievement of satisfactory learning outcomes. The application of probing and prompting techniques as a source of independent learning because it requires the involvement of students in exploring and guiding learning. The application of probing and prompting techniques is expected to make students more interactive in learning. So that student curiosity can increase in accordance with the expected learning objectives. This research was motivated because probing and prompting techniques had never been applied at SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the application of probing and prompting techniques on students' curiosity and learning outcomes on oxidation reduction reaction material in class X MIA SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. The data on the curiosity test of students in the experimental class was with an average of 49.37 and in the control class was with an average of 49.17, so students' curiosity was higher in the experimental class. Then classes that used Probing and Promting techniques obtained an average learning outcome test of 36.47 to 79, so there was an increase.

Abstract

The problem with these branches is that the organization has not been well organized, the administrative activities have not been good, to make invitations must go to the rental because the management does not have the ability to operate a computer. This activity aims to improve the ability of partners in managing the organization, increase the ability in the preparation of branch administration, especially in the preparation of reports on the activities of the Muhammadiyah branch, increase the number of administrators who have the ability to use computers to assist in making branch documents. This activity is carried out by the method of discussion of problem solving, management training, administrative preparation, use of computers, mentoring and evaluation. Comprehensive assistance to the management of Muhammadiyah branches through assistance in managing organizational management, administration and the use of computers to assist administrative activities.
