Abstract

Bukittinggi City, with the land conversion to built-up land continues to increase and the availability of land that does not increase, faces difficulties in utilizing land for settlements along with increasing population growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the suitability of land for settlements and the carrying capacity of Bukittinggi City's residential land for the next 30 years. The quantitative descriptive research method with data presented through tables and maps, calculations refer to the Ministry of Environment's 2014 carrying capacity guidelines and RP3KP. The results of the study indicate that the area of land suitable for settlements is Suitable (S2) covering 710 ha, less suitable (S3) covering 1,147 ha, and not suitable covering 430 ha. For the carrying capacity of Bukittinggi City settlements, in Guguk Panjang District it is in the deficit class, with a DDPm value of 0.24, while 2 other districts are in the surplus class, with Mandiangin Koto Selayan District valued at 2.42, and Aur Birugo Tigobaleh District of 4.09. And for a period of 30 years, 2032, 2042, and 2052, Mandiangin Koto Selayan sub-district and Aur Birugo Tigobaleh sub district still have a surplus while Guguk Panjang sub-district is still in deficit.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the TikTok application affects students' interest in learning geography subjects at SMA Muhammadiyah 09 Kualuh Hulu, North LabuhanBaatu Regency. This study uses quantitative research on the technique used, namely purposive sampling. This research has 2 classes as a sample. The number of respondents was 72 students. It is divided into an experimental class and a control class. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, questionnaires, pretest posttest questions and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study used validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive statistical analysis, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results obtained are in accordance with the researcher's calculations, there is an influence of the TikTok application on the learning interest of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 09 Kualuh Hulu, LabuhanBatu Utara Regency, North Sumatra province, This can be seen from the results of the research on the value of students' learning interest scores in experimental classes that use the TikTok application as a learning medium is higher than in the control class using the conventional method (lecture). In addition, judging from the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05 thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, the hypothesis states that social media has an effect on students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh harga karet yang murah, kondisi ini membuat petani karet tidak bisa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehingga petani karet beralih mata pencaharian menjadi buruh tambang pasir. Perubahan mata pencaharian tentunya memberikan dampak terhadap kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perubahan sosial ekonomi petani karet menjadi buruh tambang pasir Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori perubahan sosial yang di kemungkakan oleh Marvin Harris. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif. Teknik Pengambilan informan dengan cara purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 15 orang. Jenis data pada penelitian ini ada dua yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan perubahan sosial ekonomi petani karet dan sesudah menjadi buruh tambang pasir yaitu dilihat dari indikator (1) tingkat pendidikan (2) tingkat penghasilan (3) jam kerja (4) interkasi sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the area of land use in the city of Padang in 2019 and 2022 using the 4,3,2 (True Color) composite. 2) to determine the area of land use in Padang City in 2019 and 2022 using composite 7,6,4 (False Colour). 3) to find out changes in land use in the City of Padang in 2019 and 2022 using the Post- Classification Comparisson method. Processing is done using Landsat 8 satellite imagery downloaded from the USGS website. Before performing image interpretation, radiometric correction, atmospheric correction and geometric correction are carried out as well as band composite and satellite image cropping with the boundaries of the study area, namely the administrative boundaries of the City of Padang. The interpretation process is carried out using the Maximum Likelihood method using digital image processing applications and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Change detection analysis method through Post-Classification Comparisson. Accuracy sampling was carried out systematically random sampling with the confusion matrix accuracy test technique. The results of the study in the Padang City area which has an area of 694.96 km2, Land use changes using Composite Band 4,3,2 Mixed Forests experienced a reduction of around 157.58Ha. Open land increased by around 48.85 Ha, rice fields decreased by 397.84 Ha. built-up area increased by around 94.12 Ha. Shrubs and shrubs, an increase of about 412.45 Ha. Changes in land use using Composite Band 7,6,4 Mixed Forest experienced a reduction of around 155.32 Ha. Open land increased by around 48.70 Ha. paddy fields decreased by 399.03 Ha. built-up area increased by around 94.83 Ha. Shrubs and shrubs increased by around 410.82 Ha of rivers in 2019 and in 2022 there will be no change with an area of 437.33 Ha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the level of suitability of wet-rice land on food agricultural land in Tanah Datar Regency, 2) existing land cover in Tanah Datar Regency and 3) potential wet-rice land development areas in Tanah Datar Regency. The method used is a descriptive approach with quantitative research. Data was processed using fuzzy logic, supervised classification, and spatial data analysis. The results of this study show 1) Tanah Datar Regency has 3 levels of land suitability with an index value of 0-0.59 which is classified at the level of unsuitable to less suitable for rice paddy agricultural crops, with an area of 7,583.9 Ha with a percentage of 5.5%. The second category of land suitability with an index value of 0.6-0.79 is classified as moderately suitable to suitable, with an area of 98,955.7 Ha with a percentage of 71.8%. The third category of land suitability with an index value of 0.8-1.0 which is classified as moderately - highly suitable for wetland agricultural crops, with an area of 31,267.7 Ha with a percentage of 22.7% of the total area of the study site. 2) Analysis of existing land cover using Landsat 8 satellite images in 2023 in Tanah Datar District shows that the structure of land cover in 2023 is as follows: dense vegetation cover covering 93,385.5 Ha with a percentage of 67.9%, followed by agricultural land covering 35,630.6 Ha with a percentage of 25.8%, settlements covering 1,828.3 Ha with a percentage of 1.4%, open land covering 137.6 Ha with a percentage of 0.09%, and waters.

Abstract

Coral reefs are known as complex and productive shallow tropical marine ecosystems. They serve as a habitat for various species of marine plants, marine animals, and marine microorganisms. The deterioration of coral reefs threatens the survival of this shallow marine ecosystem. Mapping the distribution of coral reefs using remote sensing technology is a crucial instrument in the effort to monitor and protect coral reefs while preserving the marine environment. This research aims to map and measure the extent of coral reefs in the Pieh Islands Marine Conservation Area in 2022. In this study, we used Sentinel-2 imagery from 2022 and applied the Object-Based Image Analysis (OBIA) method to detect the extent of coral reefs. Sentinel-2 imagery was processed using ArcGIS and eCognition software, involving atmospheric correction, image clipping, image compositing, segmentation, image classification, and accuracy testing. The data processing results indicate that coral reefs are distributed around the waters of Pieh Islands, with the highest density located to the south of Pieh Islands's waters. The total extent of detected coral reefs in this study is 15.76 hectares. The use of Sentinel-2 imagery with the OBIA method has proven to be effective in detecting the extent of coral reefs in the Pieh Islands Marine Conservation Area.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) To find out the variation of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and Enchanced Vegetation Index (EVI) in Padang City (2) To find out how the spatio temporal variation in Padang City area (3) To find out the relationship between Urban Heat Island (UHI) and vegetation density index using Person Product Moment analysis in Padang City. The research used a quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The variables used in this study are vegetation density using NDVI and EVI analysis techniques. Surface temperature analysis using LST (Land Surface Temperature) analysis technique. The results of the study in 2013, 2019, and 2023 in Padang City had good vegetation density dominated by high vegetation density categories. Pearson Product Moment correlation shows vegetation density using NDVI and surface temperature affect UHI which has a strong correlation in 2013, 2019, and 2023. EVI correlation also has a strong correlation in 2013, 2019, 2023.

Abstract

Tanah Datar Regency generally has a physical description of land that is suitable for growing Arabica coffee plantations. But this commodity has never been planted even though the market price is much higher. This land suitability research uses fuzzy logic method. Each land indicator is considered to have a possibility with a value range of 0 to 1. This allows land indicators to collaborate with other indicators to create more precise conformity values. The suitability of arabica coffee plantation land in Tanah Datar Regency has two suitability classes, namely, "less suitable with an area of 2,118,719.5 Ha and a class of "quite suitable" covering an area of 12,691.87 Ha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1)Untuk mengetahui apa saja yang menjadi pertimbangan guru dalam membuat soal dan menganalisis bagaimana tolok ukur guru dalam menilai jawaban siswa pada soal yang mengandung analisis.2)Untuk mengetahui bagaimana jawaban siswa terhadap soal ulangan harian yang mengandung analisis.3)Untuk menganalisis bagaimana tingkat pemahaman siswa dalam memahami soal yang berkaitan dengan analisis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan teknik purposive sampling pada 90 siswa dari populasi 143 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertimbangan guru dalam membuat soal analisis sesuai dengan kriteria, mencakup aspek-aspek kritis seperti keterlibatan masyarakat, komunikasi efektif, kolaborasi, dan berpikir kritis. Namun, kriteria penilaian guru kurang spesifik dalam menekankan konsep geografi pada jawaban siswa. Siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menjawab dan menganalisis konsep-konsep geografi dalam soal, terutama terkait posisi strategis Indonesia sebagai poros maritim dunia dan potensi sumber daya alam. Oleh karena itu, perlu perhatian lebih terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam menghadapi soal analisis tingkat C4, yang melibatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki dan menilai pengaruh Model Pembelajaran PJBL, dengan harapan akan berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian berjenis eksperimen semu ini menggunakan test yang diberikan secara bertahap sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda di kedua kelas. Peneliti menggunakan kelas XI F4 menggunakan metode model pembelajaran PJBL dan kelas XI F8 dengan menerapkan model konvensional. Disimpulkan kan Berdasarkan tabel diatas, diketahui pertama nilai dari pretest sebesar 0,312. Kedua, nilai sig dari posttest sebesar 0,000. yang berarti terdapat hasil belajar antara siswa kelas control dan kelas eksperimen sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pjbl berbasis migupi terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 16 Padang. Model Pembelajaran pjbl Berbasis Miniatur Gunung Berapi ini dapat membantu siswa berfikir kritis untuk memahami materi sehingga menghasilkan hasil belajar meningkat. Dari penjelasan diatas terlihat terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran project based learning berbasis migupi dengan metode konvensional. Dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran pjbl berbasis migupi ini memberi pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan di analisis data mengguanakan uji-t menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok control dan kelompok eksperimen ditinjau dari hasil belajar.
