Abstract

Animal care is a profession that is responsible for taking good care of animals or checking the condition of animals for the purpose of animal health. To get a qualified animal care worker according to the company's needs, it takes quite a long time, because animal care workers who apply for a job at a company must first go through several tests in order to meet the criteria required by the company. So that animal care workers are needed and required to care for animals, maintain their health and pay attention to the nutrition of the animals. So that there is no extinction of protected animals. The current animal care worker acceptance procedure in the wildlife park is that applicants submit identity files, if they pass the applicant's files, they take an interview test and the last test, the applicant must practice in the field directly to find out how well the applicant is able to adapt to animals. In calculating the value, problems often occur in this acceptance process. A decision support system (DSS) is an interactive information system that provides information, modeling, and data manipulation. In this case, the author uses the Entropy method and the ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment) method to solve it. The Entropy method can be used to calculate weights based on data characteristics in the criteria, the higher the variation between data in the criteria, the higher or more important the weight of the criteria. While the ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment) method is used for ranking. The use of the Entropy method as a weighting aims to ensure that the weighting process is carried out based on objective value assignment. In the application of the Entropy Method, a weighting of the criteria value is produced where the criteria with the highest to lowest values ​​are Certificate, Work Experience, Age, Interview and Education with the highest value being 0.768 and the lowest being 0.021. Then the process of applying the selection of animal nurses using the ARAS method obtained the result that alternative A1 was selected as an animal nurse with a value obtained of 0.0816.

Abstract

Sinah Kasih is the name of a village in the Sei Rampah sub-district, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province. The village government system of Sinah Kasih is directly led by a village head, who is democratically elected by the local community. The presence of village officials is crucial in supporting the village head in making policy decisions and implementing work-based programs that benefit Sinah Kasih. Currently, the selection of village officials in Sinah Kasih is directly carried out by the village head, but several issues have arisen, causing suspicion among the community. This suspicion stems from a lack of trust in the selection process, which is perceived to involve nepotism, leading to decreased community support for the village government's programs. As a result, the village head is seeking a solution to ensure the selection of village officials is more transparent and free from nepotism. A decision support system is a suitable solution to address the problems faced by the village head of Sinah Kasih. An application was developed to assist in decision-making processes by the village head. The outcome of the research is the design and development of a decision support system application, compatible with Windows, which functions as a tool for determining village officials in Sinah Kasih using the Measurement of Alternatives and Ranking According (MARA) method.

Abstract

Many people enjoy listening to music on their mobile devices, as cited from Kompas Tekno. Audio files can take up a lot of storage space, especially high-quality audio files. Another issue is that although there are many audio player applications available, only a few offer audio compression features, making it difficult for users to compress their audio files. The existing audio compression applications often do not utilize optimal compression methods, which can result in poor audio quality or low compression rates. Moreover, although many audio player applications are available, few provide audio compression features, making it hard for users to compress their files. Additionally, the current audio compression applications do not often use optimal compression methods, leading to poor audio quality or low compression efficiency. One solution to this problem is using an audio compression application that can reduce the size of audio files without significantly reducing the audio quality. This allows users to store more audio files on their mobile devices.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, coding telah menjadi bahasa pokok di masa depan yang sangat menarik untuk dipelajari, khususnya pengenalan coding sejak usia dini. Belajar coding yang interaktif dapat menjadi alternatif dan nilai plus bagi anak-anak sebagai tempat menyalurkan kreatifitas dan berfikir yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan seperti problem solving, mampu berpikir secara logika, hingga secara kritis. Salah satu cara untuk membangun logika coding pada anak-anak yaitu dengan mengenali coding secara interaktif kepada peserta didik dan hal ini dapat ditemui melalui aplikasi Codecademy. Codecademy merupakan aplikasi pemograman komputer yang di desain khusus untuk anak maupun dewasa berbasis visual yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Tujuan diadakannya pengabdian kepada masyarakat di lingkup sekolah SMP IT Al-Munadi adalah untuk memberikan sebuah materi dasar mengenai perkenalan, penjelasan, dan pengoperasian tentang logika pemograman coding melalui aplikasi Codecademy. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMP IT Al-Munadi, metode pengenalan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan cara mempresentasikan powerpoint, menjelaskan beberapa menu yang dimiliki oleh Aplikasi Codecademy mulai dari proses penguduhan aplikasi sampai pada kegiatan praktek beberapa coding dasar program secara bersama-sama di lab komputer, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan peserta untuk memahami dan mengenal coding program yang lebih interaktif dan mudah.

Abstract

Penggunaan media kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan Canva sebagai media kreatif di kalangan siswa SMA. Canva adalah sebuah platform desain grafis berbasis web yang mudah diakses dan memiliki beragam fitur yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat presentasi, poster, infografis, dan materi visual lainnya. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, siswa diberikan pelatihan untuk menggunakan Canva dalam mendesain berbagai media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Kegiatan ini melibatkan pendampingan langsung, mulai dari pengenalan fitur Canva, praktik desain kreatif, hingga penerapan dalam proyek nyata. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan Canva sebagai alat kreatif untuk mendukung pembelajaran dan pengembangan ide-ide inovatif. Penggunaan Canva diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis siswa, tetapi juga memotivasi mereka untuk berpikir kreatif dan mandiri dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik maupun non-akademik. Kegiatan ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang efektif dan relevan untuk diterapkan di lingkungan pendidikan lainnya.
