Abstract

This community service is motivated by the collaboration between the Sumedang Regency Government and the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic through the implementation of community-based practicum targeting the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) listed in the Sumedang Regency Regional Development Work Plan concerning four issues, one of which is increasing village competitiveness in the form of one village one product. Based on the potential and assets of the community in the Rancakalong Village area, community service is directed at efforts to develop culture-based tourism. The methods carried out in community service practice are participatory methods, including Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Through stakeholder management of tourism awareness groups, service practices are directed to see the extent of the involvement of figures which then emerges the commitment of figures in efforts to develop cultural tourism. The results of this community service activity are in the form of actor quadrant mapping which shows four kinds of stakeholder positions based on their interests and influences, the output of which is in the form of restructuring tourism awareness groups and preparing group work plans.

Abstract

The program that has been carried out by the PKH Facilitator of Rancakalong Village to reduce poverty is to hold a Family Capacity Building Meeting (P2K2) for KPM PKH, one of the materials discussed is financial management, but there has been no follow-up after the activity. So, a service was carried out in the form of entrepreneurship training aimed at mothers of PKH beneficiaries so that they could improve their family's economy through entrepreneurship so that it could help accelerate the graduation of KPM PKH. The targets of the training were 8 mothers of PKH beneficiaries who had the desire to become entrepreneurs. This program also uses digitalization for the monitoring and evaluation process. The steps taken consist of the dialog stage, the assessment and intervention plan stage, the intervention implementation and evaluation stage, as well as termination and referral.

Abstract

Garbage is one of the problems that still needs to be addressed immediately, as is the case in Rancakalong Village. Waste processing has not yet been implemented because there is no TPA and TPS in the village. Most people only burn the rubbish they produce every day and it is not uncommon for them to just throw it carelessly throughout Rancakalong Village. This community service activity aims to provide public awareness about the importance of waste processing through the Community Empowerment through Waste Bank Diversification program. This activity uses participatory methods by involving the community as a whole, as well as extracting data through participatory observation, interviews, documentation studies and FGDs. The results of this activity are the formation of a Waste Bank TKM, increasing community knowledge and skills, as well as the impact of activities on the triple bottom line concept.

Abstract

Rancakalong Village is one of the villages in Rancakalong District which based on data from the Sistem Pencegahan Stunting (SIMPATI) still has the largest percentage of stunting children in the sub-district, which is 10.84% with 27 children under five. The Rancakalong Village Government has made several program efforts aimed at reducing stunting rates in Rancakalong Village, ranging from programs from the Village, Programs from the Disctrict and programs from the central government. However, the problem of stunting in Rancakalong Village still cannot be overcome optimally. Low awareness of parents and the public about stunting knowledge, and parenting styles put children at risk of stunting. Through the implementation of assessment in social work community work, the author was able to identify that people in Rancakalong Village need awareness about stunting problems through the implementation of counseling with new digital-based innovations. The result of the study is the novelty of digital-based stunting counseling media through consultation hotline program named Respons Layanan Stunting (RESLETING) and the Perpustakaan Pencegahan Stunting (PEPES) which is a digital library program.

Abstract

Community Service which is integrated with the 2023 Community Practicum which will be held in Rancakalong Village, Sumedang Regency, has direction given by the PJ Regent regarding four problems which are the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) for the Sumedang Regency Region, namely reducing stunting rates, reducing extreme poverty rates, increasing village competitiveness, and improving the performance of the Social Welfare Center (Puskesos). This community service activity aims to improve the optimization of the performance of the Social Health Center. This activity involves village officials in a participatory manner as well as data mining through observation, interviews and documentation studies and outreach. The results of this activity are awareness raising of the role, duties and responsibilities of the Social Health Center as well as the establishment of a digital-based referral service directory which aims to simplify the service process, flow of information and referrals as well as data updating.

Abstract

Kampung Ciuncal Desa Sukamantri Kecamatan Sukamantri Kabupaten Ciamis, adalah salah satu kampung sentra industri gula aren yang cara produksi, pengemasan, pemasaran maupun pengelolaannya dilakukan secara sederhana. Kekurangan modal usaha seringkali menjadi persoalan klasik yang dialami oleh masyarakat. Pendampingan untuk pengembangan usaha gula aren masih amat terbatas. Pengelola gula aren di Kampung Ciuncal saat ini berjumlah 15 kepala keluarga. Jumlah home industry mengalami penurunan secara signifikan yang semula berjumlah 50 kepala keluarga, karena warga menganggap gula aren tidak banyak menjanjikan untuk menopang kehidupan. Disisi lain, apabila dikaji lebih mendalam banyak potensi yang bisa dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan produksi gula aren guna menambah penghasilan masyarakat. Fasilitasi yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian meliputi: 1) Pengelolaan variasi dari produk gula aren yang lebih awet, menarik dan higyenis; 2) Kemasan produk yang lebih menarik dan layak dipasarkan dalam skala yang lebih luas; 3) Pengorganisasian untuk penguatan kelembagaan kelompok usaha mikro yang selama ini cenderung berjalan sendiri-sendiri. Metode yang dilaksanakan adalah: 1) Melakukan pelatihan pengelolaan gula aren yang lebih variatif dan menarik; 2) Pendampingan membentuk kelembagaan kelompok usaha bersama gula aren; 3) Membantu pengemasan produksi gula aren yang layak jual dan higienis. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat 1) Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mencetak gula aren yang lebih bervariasi dan sehat; 2) pengemasan gula aren yang lebih menarik dan layak dipasarkan; 3) Terbentuknya organisasi kelompok usaha bersama gula aren yang bernama “Kawung Sajati ” Kata kunci: Pengemasan Produk, Pengorganisasian kelompok, Pendampingan mitra.

Abstract

Ojek online merupakan salah satu aplikasi baru dalam dunia transportasi akibat dari kemajuan revolusiindustri Kesiapan adalah keadaan yang diwujudkan dalam tingkat perkembangan dari kematangan untukmelakukan sesuatu hal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) karakteristik responden, 2)kondisi fisik responden dalam menghadapi kesiapan diri, 3) kondisi mental responden dalam menghadapikesiapan diri, 4) kondisi emosional responden dalam menghadapi kesiapan diri, 5) kebutuhan respondendalam menghadapi kesiapan diri, 6) motif responden dalam menghadapi kesiapan diri, 7) tujuan respondendalam menghadapi kesiapan diri, 8) pengetahuan responden dalam menghadapi kesiapan diri, 9)keterampilan responden dalam menghadapi kesiapan diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatifdeskriptif dengan sumber data diperoleh dari 25 responden dengan Insidental Sampling yang diperolehdengan angket, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu skala likert dan ujivaliditas muka (face validity). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan diri calon pengemudi ojekonline di Kecamatan Limo Kota Depok berada pada kategori tinggi. Namun untuk betul2 beralih profesimasih banyak pengemudi ojek konvensional yang belum mau beralih menjadi pengemudi ojek online. Olehkarena itu, ditawarkan program “Peningkatan Kapasitas Organisasi Ojek Konvensional denganPembentukan Paguyuban ngojek plus Di Kecamatan Limo, Kota Depok”.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategies used by socioeconomically vulnerable women who are heads of low-income families to meet their family's needs. The research was conducted with four socioeconomically vulnerable women who are heads of low-income families in Pasanggrahan Village, Garut. The research data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observations from June-July 2023. The results showed that the participants used the same strategy template to fulfill the needs of their low-income families. Fulfilling economic needs is done by selling snacks in the market. Then, they save food to meet their daily needs and set aside a little money to fulfill other needs. They borrow from mobile banks when facing emergencies to fulfill daily expenses and trading capital and pay health costs when experiencing illnesses that must be treated. This strategy is carried out because the income generated by poor women's family heads or family members can only partially fulfill the family's basic needs. The poverty experienced by the participants was inherited from their families. However, this can be overcome by providing training to improve community entrepreneurship skills and competencies through utilizing village funds.
