Abstract

Manajemen Emosi memegang peranan yang penting dalam keberhasilan Pendidikan. Kitab Amsal sebagai kitab hikmat ikut memberikan sumbangsih besar bagi manajemen emosi khususnya dalam pengendalian diri terhadap amarah. Mengingat Pentingnya manajemen emosi dalam kitab Amsal ini, pendidik Kristen masa kini harus dapat mengimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan pengajaran yang dijalankan. Pertanyaan yang hendak diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah implementasi manajemen Emosi menurut Kitab Amsal bagi para pendidik Kristen masa kini? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kepustakaan. Kitab Amsal memberikan nasehat untuk selalu mengedepankan kesabaran sebagai bentuk manajemen emosi. Emosi yang tidak diatur akan berpengaruh kepada kepemimpinan seseorang. Kitab Amsal juga memberikan cara praktis untuk mengelola emosi dengan mengedepankan perkataan yang lemah lembut. Orang percaya juga perlu menghindari konflik yang tidak perlu sebagai bagian pengelolaan emosi. Amsal juga melukiskan tentang dampak negatif jika seseorang tidak dapat memanajemen emosinya. Sebagai Implikasinya, guru Kristen masa kini haruslah mampu menunjukkan kesabaran sebagai bagian integral dari manajemen emosinya. Para pendidik Kristen juga perlu menyadari bahwa pengelolaan manajemen emosi turut menentukan keberhasilan proses pendidikan. Para pendidik Kristen perlu mengelola perkataan yang baik dalam setiap proses pengajaran yang dijalaninya. Dalam setiap kondisi, para pendidik Kristen juga dituntut untuk menghindari konflik yang tidak perlu. Terakhir, para pendidik Kristen perlu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif untuk menjaga kestabilan emosi mereka.

Abstract

The purpose of this study includes two parts. First to give an exposition to the holistic ministry of the Messiah in Isaiah 61: 1-3. Second, provide an explanation of the implications of this holistic service for services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative with inductive characteristics of literature study. Isaiah 61: 1-3 describes the holistic ministry of the Messiah by preaching good news, preaching deliverance, announcing the year of God's grace, comforting, and giving joy to the people. The implications for services during the pandemic are evangelism services, social services, spiritual services, and Diakonia services. All forms of services are adapted to pandemic conditions by utilizing technology that is currently developing.

Abstract

This article examines the identity of pastors in dealing with conflicts of interest between pastors. It has become commonplace these days to hear of conflicts of interest between pastors which result in arguments, and divisions, and leave deep emotional wounds. Through this article, we will be able to understand the relationship between the identity of pastors in dealing with conflicts of interest with fellow ministers as Christians. By using case study research methods in a qualitative approach, accompanied by data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation, the data is analyzed by data reduction and data presentation. The results of the research found that the pastors were born again, had personal experiences with God that awakened faith, had theological education, and had fairly good knowledge of the Bible, however, there was an identity that was not in line with the teachings of the Word. From a psychological aspect, it was found that some of the priests did not have a father figure, some had died, divorced, and some had been entrusted to other people. These elements then have a negative impact on the pastor's identity if they are not handled wisely. AbstrakTulisan ini mengkaji perihal jati diri pendeta dalam menghadapi konflik kepentingan antar pendeta. Menjadi hal yang biasa pada hari-hari ini dengan semakin sering mendengar konflik kepentingan antar pendeta yang mengakibatkan pertengkaran, perpecahan, dan meninggalkan luka hati yang mendalam. Melalui tulisan ini akan dapat mengetahui kaitan jati diri pendeta dalam menghadapi konflik kepentingan dengan sesama rekan sepelayanan sebagai orang-orang Kristen. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dalam pendekatan kualitatif, disertai teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, untuk kemudian data tersebut dianalisis dengan reduksi data dan penyajian data. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa para pendeta didapati telah lahir baru, memiliki pengalaman pribadi dengan Tuhan yang membangkitkan iman, memiliki pendidikan teologi, dan memiliki pengetahuan Alkitab yang cukup baik, namun demikian terdapat jati diri yang belum seturut dengan ajaran Firman. Dari aspek psikologis ditemukan bahwa para pendeta didapati ada yang tidak memiliki figur ayah, ada yang meninggal, bercerai, dan ada yang dititipkan kepada orang lain. Unsur-unsur tersebutlah yang kemudian berdampak negatif pada jati diri pendeta tersebut jika tidak disikapi bijaksana.

Abstract

The book of Proverbs is a collection of wise sayings attributed to King Solomon as the wisest king in Israel. One of the themes taught in this book is about being wise in keeping words. The authors of the book of Proverbs often echo this theme with tongue allegations. This study aims to explore the teachings of the book of Proverbs regarding the use of the tongue by believers. The main question we want to discuss is: what is the teaching of Proverbs about wisdom in regulating words for social life? By using a literature study with topical methods, the truth about the use of tongues in this book of Proverbs is produced. The book of Proverbs warns about the dangers of speaking hastily or thoughtlessly, emphasizing the need for thoughtful and kind words. Negative words should be shunned by believers. On the other hand, positive words that slide out of the tongue give an indication of the existence of wisdom in a person's life. For Proverbs, life and death are actually influenced by the tongue. For those who can keep their words, they will gain life and success. On the contrary, for those who cannot keep their word, the destruction of life will be an inevitable certainty.
