Abstract

The habit of storing the harvest in the form of nutmeg is something that has become a culture among the people of Morela village, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency. This research will examine theoretically the economic variables that influence the storage of dry nutmeg seeds by farming households. To analyze the relationship between variables that cause savings choices, an inter-time model is used. The choice is based on the meaning of the present and future times. If the present time is more meaningful then farmers will sell the nutmeg seeds they have and conversely if the future time is more meaningful it will increase the amount of nutmeg savings. The variables included in this research are relative price variables, current income and future income. This research uses primary data through interviews and questionnaires. The samples taken based on the purposive random sampling method were 75 farmers in Morela village. To analyze the magnitude of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable, cross-section regression was used using the Eviews tool. The results of the research show that the price variables at harvest, the estimated future price of cloves, and future consumption influence the clove savings of farmer households.

Abstract

Electricity has a very important role in influencing a country's economic growth. High electricity consumption is often an important indicator of the level of industrialization and technological progress in an economy. In this research, we will examine theoretically the influence of electricity consumption and labor variables on economic growth. To analyze the relationship between variables in the research model, we use a regression equation model using annual data. The research results show that the electricity consumption variable significantly influences economic growth, while labor does not significantly influence economic growth and has a unidirectional relationship. Increased productivity supported by a reliable electricity supply can increase efficiency in the production of goods and services, trigger growth in the industrial sector, and create jobs. Strong electricity consumption also encourages investment in energy infrastructure that can stimulate economic growth.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) memainkan peran vital dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, memperluas akses pasar, dan mendorong inovasi produk serta layanan, yang secara signifikan meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing ekonomi. Pembentukan Modal Tetap Bruto (PMTB), melalui investasi pada infrastruktur, teknologi, dan peralatan, memperluas kapasitas produksi, menciptakan lapangan kerja, dan memodernisasi ekonomi, mendukung pertumbuhan jangka panjang. Selain itu, Tenaga Kerja (TK) yang produktif dan berkualitas meningkatkan output ekonomi, mendorong inovasi, dan memperkuat konsumsi domestik, yang semuanya penting untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel TIK, PMTB dan TK dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi digunakan model analisis regresi data panel kabupaten/kota di provinsi maluku tahun 2017-2022. Hasil analsis menunjukan bahawa ketiga variabel independen signifikan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja terhadap dimensi-dimensi komitmen organisasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit Al Fatah. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap komitmen afektif pada rumah sakit swasta di Kota Ambon, stres kerja juga berpengaruh negatif terhadap komitmen normatif pada rumah sakit swasta di Kota Ambon. Namun stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap komitmen berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the elasticity of rice demand among poor households in Sirimau District, Ambon City. The main focus of this study is the influence of household income, number of family members, the price of Bulog rice, and the price of premium rice on rice consumption among poor households. The analytical method used involves linear regression to identify the relationships between these variables. The results of the study indicate that household income, number of family members, and the price of Bulog rice have a significant positive effect on rice consumption among poor households. Conversely, the price of premium rice does not show a significant effect on rice consumption in this household group. These findings suggest that Bulog rice pricing policies and increasing the income of poor households can be important factors in boosting their rice consumption. This research provides valuable insights for the formulation of more effective food policies to support the welfare of poor households in Sirimau District, Ambon City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of curly chili prices, household income, and the number of household dependents on the demand for curly chilies in Ambon City using the multiple linear regression method. Primary data was collected through a survey of 300 households in Ambon City, with the dependent variable being the monthly purchase quantity of curly chilies, while the independent variables include the price of curly chilies, household income, and the number of dependents. The analysis results show that the price of curly chilies has a significant negative effect on demand, with an increase in price leading to a decrease in purchase quantity. Additionally, household income and the number of dependents also have a significant impact, where an increase in income and the number of dependents boosts demand. These results indicate the existence of complex interactions between these factors in shaping the demand for curly chilies in Ambon City, which need to be considered in policy planning and marketing strategies to maintain market stability and meet consumer needs.

Abstract

The financial education socialization program aims to enhance financial literacy and independence among the community in Taeno Village, Rumah Tiga Sub-District, Teluk Ambon District. In this context, low financial literacy is one of the primary challenges faced by the community, particularly in personal and family financial management. This socialization program is designed to provide basic knowledge about budgeting, saving, and debt management, as well as to introduce accessible formal financial products to the community. The main goal is to equip the community with financial skills that help them achieve independence in daily financial aspects. The program implementation method involves face-to-face counseling sessions at the village hall, interactive workshops, and individual mentoring. This socialization also includes an introduction to digital financial services, such as e-wallets and online banking, designed to expand community access to various financial management options. In each session, participants are encouraged to understand the importance of financial planning, regular saving, and avoiding consumptive debt. Program evaluations are conducted periodically through surveys and group discussions to assess improvements in understanding and changes in financial behavior within the community. The results of the socialization indicate an increased understanding of basic financial management and awareness of the importance of financial literacy among the community. Participants in this program have begun to demonstrate better abilities in budgeting, establishing emergency funds, and selecting formal financial products that suit their needs. Additionally, the program helps reduce community dependence on consumptive loans and encourages them to make better use of beneficial formal financial products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interest rates, exchange rates and the consumer price index on the yield of Government Securities (SUN) in Indonesia from 2005 to 2023. This study uses multiple linear regression methods, this study examines the relationship between independent variables, namely interest rates, the exchange rate of the rupiah against the United States dollar and the CPI on the dependent variable, namely yield SUN. The results showed that interest rates have a positive but insignificant effect on SUN yield or are not strong enough to be considered significant in determining the overall SUN yield. The rupiah exchange rate has a negative but significant effect on SUN yield,where the depreciation of the rupiah against the dollar tends to increase yield as compensation for exchange rate risk.Meanwhile, CPI has a negative and insignificant effect on SUN yield, indicating that although an increase in CPI, which reflects inflation, tends to be followed by a decrease in SUN yield, its influence is not strong enough to be the main factor in determining yield. These findings provide important implications for policy makers and market participants in understanding the dynamics of the Indonesian bond market and in managing national financial stability.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan daur ulang sampah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi dan kualitas lingkungan di desa negeri Mamala. Kegiatan ini melibatkan edukasi dan pelatihan bagi warga desa tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang efektif serta teknik daur ulang sampah menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi. Program ini meliputi berbagai kegiatan seperti sosialisasi pengelolaan sampah, pelatihan pembuatan kerajinan dari sampah plastik, pembuatan kompos dari sampah organik, serta pendirian bank sampah sebagai pusat pengumpulan dan pengolahan sampah. Bank sampah berfungsi sebagai tempat warga menyetor sampah yang sudah dipilah, yang kemudian diolah menjadi berbagai produk bernilai jual seperti tas dari plastik bekas, kompos organik, dan paving block dari limbah plastik. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya mengurangi volume sampah yang dibuang ke lingkungan, tetapi juga menciptakan lapangan kerja baru dan meningkatkan pendapatan warga desa. Program ini juga mengintegrasikan penggunaan teknologi sederhana yang membantu meningkatkan efisiensi proses daur ulang dan kualitas produk. Kerjasama dengan pemerintah lokal, lembaga swadaya masyarakat, dan sektor swasta memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung dan memperkuat program ini. Pemerintah memberikan dukungan regulasi dan teknis, sementara sektor swasta membantu dalam penyediaan teknologi dan akses pasar. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat desa merupakan kunci keberhasilan program ini, karena mereka menjadi pelaku utama dalam kegiatan daur ulang sampah. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan masyarakat, keterampilan kewirausahaan yang lebih baik, serta peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi. Selain itu, program ini berhasil mengurangi jumlah sampah yang dibuang ke lingkungan, menciptakan desa yang lebih bersih dan sehat. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui daur ulang sampah terbukti menjadi model pengabdian yang efektif dalam membangun desa yang mandiri, berkelanjutan, dan lebih sejahtera.

Abstract

Penulisan karya ilmiah membutuhkan pengelolaan referensi yang efektif dan efisien untuk memastikan keakuratan dan kredibilitas. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat membantu penulis dalam mengelola referensi adalah Mendeley, sebuah aplikasi manajemen referensi yang memungkinakan pengguna untuk mengatur dan berbagi literatur. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan penggunaan Mendeley kepada mahasiswa dan pelajar di Ranting Nazareth Cabang Rehoboth 3 sebagai solusi dalam manajemen referensi serta memberikan pelatihan mengenai cara mengoptimalkan aplikasi ini dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui workshop yang diikuti oleh lebih dari 30 peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta memahami aplikasi yang bisa digunakan dan sangat membantu dalam mengelola referensi serta menghemat waktu dalam penulisan karya ilmiah.
