Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of coffee agribusiness in Wonogiri regency which is seen from the availability of inputs, cultivation techniques, post-harvest handling, economics and marketing, and the role of supporting institutions. Primary data were collected using interview techniques with key informants consisting of farmers, managers of farmer groups and farmer group associations, MSMEs, traders, and agricultural extension officers. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques. The results of the analysis showed that there were no quality seeds available and limited fertilizer availability; many farmers' cultivation techniques were still not in accordance with the coffee GAP; many farmers still did not consider the quality of the harvest; coffee contributed to the income of farmer households where profits would be obtained in the 4th year after planting; there were three levels of coffee marketing channels with intermediary institutions, namely farmer groups/farmer groups, MSMEs, collectors, shops/cafes, wholesalers, and factories. Agribusiness support institutions in Wonogiri include farmer groups, local governments, CSR, and coffee communities.

Abstract

Background: Shallots are an important crop in Indonesia, but post-harvest drying remains inefficient, especially in Karang Penang Oloh Village, where traditional sun drying leads to quality loss and long drying times. Aims: This study aims to design a hybrid solar-LPG pyramid dryer to improve drying efficiency and product quality for local farmers. Results: The dryer successfully dried 20 kg of shallots in 10 hours, reducing moisture content from 86% to 12.44%-15.99%. Novelty: The hybrid solar-LPG system offers a scalable and efficient solution for larger-scale drying. Implications: This technology can enhance post-harvest processing, improving both drying time and product quality, with potential for broader agricultural applications. Highlights: Hybrid solar-LPG system reduces drying time for shallots. Moisture content of shallots reduced to optimal levels (12.44%-15.99%). Abstract

The emergence of coffee shops in various corners of the city can impact the environment, especially regarding waste production. More and more consumers are environmentally conscious, demanding business actors to develop environmentally friendly products. Like the Kedai Pustaka coffee shop, it is one of the coffee shops in Bangkalan Regency that has implemented green products. Green products themselves have a more minor impact on the environment overall. Due to implementing this policy, a decrease in sales turnover is possible, which will affect business sustainability. This study aims to discover the factors influencing consumers' purchase of green products at Kedai Pustaka. The determination of the research location was purposive, so the Kedai Pustaka was chosen as the research object. Data was collected for 43 respondents with an axial sampling technique and then analyzed using the Smart-PLS application through the SEM-PLS approach. It was found that environmental knowledge influenced attitude, and environmental attitude significantly affected the purchase decision of green products. Kedai Pustaka is expected to grow and improve knowledge and attitude toward caring for the environment from the consumer side

Abstract

Kecamatan Burneh sebagai salah satu wilayah di Kabupaten Bangkalan yang menjadi produsen padi menghadapi masalah terjadinya penurunan produksi pada dua tahun terakhir padahal terdapat petugas penyuluh yang mendampingi petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran petugas penyuluh pertanian dan pengaruhnya terhadap hasil produksi padi di Kecamatan Burneh. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 50 responden petani padi. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil analisis deskriptif  menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memersepsikan peran penyuluh sebagai motivator dan inovator berkategori baik sedangkan peran penyuluh sebagai fasilitator dan komunikator berkategori cukup baik. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa peran penyuluh, benih, dan pupuk tidak berpengaruh terhadap  produksi padi di Kecamatan Burneh. Sedangkan 3 variabelnya (pestisida, luas lahan, dan tenaga kerja) berpengaruh positif terhadap produksi padi di Kecamatan Burneh. Implikasi hasil penelitian adalah diperlukan perbaikan peran penyuluh khususnya peran sebagai fasilitator dan komunikator. Implikasi lainnya adalah penggunaan input sesuai takaran yang direkomendasikan.
