Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of family education in supporting the mental health of children and adolescents through phenomenological methods. The subjects of the study were children, adolescents, and parents who had experiences related to family education and mental health. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with participants and analyzed using thematic analysis to find key themes such as emotional support, resilience, and communication patterns in the family. The results showed that emotional support from parents and open communication patterns have a positive impact on the mental health of children and adolescents, strengthening mental resilience, and improving their ability to manage emotions. Conversely, families with closed communication or lack of emotional support tend to increase the risk of mental disorders. The implications of this study suggest the importance of policies and intervention programs that support family education to increase parental awareness in creating a healthy environment for children's mental development.

Abstract

This study aims to clearly describe the implementation of the National Science Olympiad organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Pattimura University Ambon and its impact on improving the quality of education. The focus of the research is the process of organizing the national science olympiad, and its impact on improving the quality of education. This study uses qualitative research. The data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the National Science Olympiad involves elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational school students throughout Maluku with a total of 3,323 participants. The region, which is dubbed as a sea-based archipelago province, is not a barrier for students to compete to be the best. As a result, when students excel in a competition, the quality of education will be better. The supporting factors for the implementation of the National Science Olympiad are internal and external factors. Internal factors come from within students, while external factors come from the school environment and family environment. The inhibiting factors are the cost and location of the competition. Some of the implications of this research: Education Policy Design; Curriculum development; Teacher Training and Development; Increasing Student Participation; and Extracurricular Program Development. Research at the National Science Olympiad has made significant contributions to the following aspects: Development of Academic Knowledge; Improvement of Educational Practices; Support for Policy Makers; Motivation for students; and Strengthening Research Networks.

Abstract

Implementasi permasalahan pada Sistem Informasi Pembangunan Daerah (SIPD) dan CoreTax di lingkungan Sekretariat DPRD Lamongan masih. Kendala utama meliputi hambatan teknis sistem yang tidak stabil, ketidaksinkronan data akibat integrasi yang belum matang, dan keterbatasan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dalam mengoperasikan fitur-fitur kompleks. Permasalahan ini secara langsung berdampak negatif pada transparansi, efisiensi, serta akuntabilitas pengelolaan keuangan daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai kendala-kendala tersebut, serta menguji bagaimana faktor-faktor penghambat ini memengaruhi tiga tahapan penting: proses input data, mekanisme pelaporan keuangan, dan tingkat akurasi data yang dihasilkan oleh sistem. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi yang meliputi wawancara mendalam dengan staf pelaksana dan pengambil keputusan, observasi terhadap praktik operasional sehari-hari, dan analisis dokumentasi terkait kendala sistem. Fokus penelitian adalah memahami praktik nyata dan tantangan koordinasi antarunit dalam penggunaan sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gangguan sistem yang tidak terprediksi, integrasi data yang belum optimal antar-modul, dan kesenjangan literasi digital antar-staf menjadi faktor penghambat utama kelancaran operasional. Meskipun terdapat hambatan, SIPD dan CoreTax memberikan manfaat substansial berupa percepatan proses administrasi dan peningkatan efisiensi pengelolaan dokumen dibandingkan metode manual sebelumnya. Keberhasilan digitalisasi pengelolaan keuangan daerah sangat ditentukan oleh tiga pilar utama: stabilitas infrastruktur sistem, kesiapan dan pemerataan kapabilitas SDM, serta dukungan manajerial yang berkelanjutan dalam mengatasi resistensi perubahan dan masalah teknis. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan perlunya peningkatan kapasitas SDM melalui pelatihan intensif dan berkelanjutan, penyempurnaan fitur sistem untuk memastikan integrasi data yang mulus, penguatan koordinasi lintas instansi, serta penerapan sistem pengawasan internal secara periodik untuk memperkuat transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan efektivitas pengelolaan keuangan daerah di Lamongan.

Abstract

The transformation of learning through the integration of classical and digital methods is a necessity in responding to the challenges of 21st century education. This study aims to examine the implementation and impact of the blended learning model in the FIP UNESA Education Management Study Program, as well as formulate an ideal integrated learning model. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data was analyzed thematically by linking the findings with education management theory and learning technology. The results show that the use of technology such as LMS, collaborative applications, and interactive media has increased the accessibility and flexibility of student learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, lecturer readiness, and digital literacy gap are still obstacles. The research recommends an interaction-based blended learning model supported by infrastructure support, lecturer capacity building, and varied and relevant digital content, to ensure the quality and sustainability of learning in higher education environments.

Abstract

The quality of educators and education personnel is a key factor in improving the quality of study programs in higher education, especially in education study programs. This research aims to analyze the quality needs of educators and education personnel and develop a model to improve the quality of educators and education personnel in the History Education Study Program. The research uses a qualitative approach with research and development design which refers to the Borg and Gall Development Model. The research stages include needs analysis, planning, initial model development, and validation and test of model practicality. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and limited observation involving lecturers, education staff, and study program leaders. Data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis. The results of the study show that there is a gap between quality standards and actual conditions, especially related to career development and lecturer performance, workload imbalances, limited education personnel, and insystematic development of academic competencies and services. Based on these findings, a conceptual model for improving the quality of educators and education personnel was developed based on an input–process–output–impact approach that is systematic, contextual, and sustainable.

Abstract

Perubahan sosial, kemajuan teknologi, serta kompleksitas kebijakan pendidikan menuntut hadirnya model kepemimpinan pendidikan yang adaptif, visioner, dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan mutu. Namun demikian, praktik kepemimpinan pendidikan di berbagai satuan pendidikan masih didominasi oleh pendekatan administratif dan birokratis, sehingga kurang responsif terhadap tantangan manajemen pendidikan kontemporer. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara konsep kepemimpinan yang diterapkan dengan kebutuhan riil pengelolaan pendidikan modern. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi konsep kepemimpinan pendidikan dalam perspektif manajemen pendidikan kontemporer agar lebih relevan dengan dinamika perubahan dan tuntutan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) yang diperkaya dengan analisis konseptual dan komparatif terhadap teori-teori kepemimpinan pendidikan klasik dan modern. Sumber data penelitian meliputi buku ilmiah, artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional bereputasi, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, kategorisasi konsep, interpretasi kritis, dan sintesis teoretik untuk merumuskan kerangka konseptual kepemimpinan pendidikan yang baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan pendidikan kontemporer perlu direkonstruksi dari sekadar peran manajerial-administratif menuju kepemimpinan transformatif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis nilai. Rekonstruksi konsep ini menekankan integrasi antara fungsi manajemen pendidikan, kepemimpinan pembelajaran, penguatan budaya organisasi, serta kemampuan adaptif terhadap perubahan global dan lokal. Kepemimpinan pendidikan tidak hanya berorientasi pada pencapaian kinerja institusional, tetapi juga pada pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan pembentukan ekosistem pendidikan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kebijakan dan program pengembangan kepemimpinan pendidikan yang berbasis pada pendekatan manajemen pendidikan kontemporer, serta mendorong lembaga pendidikan untuk mengadopsi model kepemimpinan yang reflektif, inovatif, dan kontekstual.
