Abstract

Ceramics by artist Bong Lie Phin has a historical record in the world of art by bringing social change to form a new culture through ceramic works. Another thing about ceramic development technology. This research is important in order to provide renewal through ceramic works. As for the research question, namely, how are inductive empiricism, reconstruction, and humanism related to ideas, society, and technology? This research process used qualitative methods with historical, social, and technological approaches and data collection techniques through interviews, literature studies, notes, and documentation documents. In the process of collecting data, researchers will gather information from artists and other supporting data. The data needed is in accordance with the research questions and then tested by involving experts and artists. There are several findings that the artist Bong Lie Phin created works from 1989 to 2020 with the concept of Chinese mythology and interpreted Chinese cultural symbols. This is also supported by the exploration of materials and technologies that develop in making ceramics, but without reducing the value and meaning, it was found that there were financial support factors carried out by the management of these ceramic artists in influencing understanding. Work so that the presence of work continues. Occurs, the work is considered capable of providing transformation of spiritual values; another discussion is the community's contribution in providing understanding in the creation of ceramic art so that the process of reconstruction in the work occurs continuously.

Abstract

The role of design, as a visual art that most people think there is a dividing line between the art of motion and sound, will certainly be a new picture in understanding the interrelated relationship in the success of a performance. This is the background related to the research on the role of good design in a performance focused on the "Tumirah (Sang Mucikari)" performance performed at the University of Palangka Raya's Drama, Dance, and Music Education Study Program, with the aim of describing and analyzing the problems of the form and the creativity of the stage and the property used. The theory of two-dimensional and three-dimensional designs underlies the role of design in performance. The method used in this research is interpretative qualitative with case study studies. The results show that the role of design in the form of line, field, color, and space elements is inseparable from a performance. Design creativity that reduces some of its elements into imaginary elements and visualizes elements whose representation weight is high is a determining factor in explaining to the audience to be carried away in the atmosphere told in the performance story.

Abstract

The results of available natural resources became a village potential that deserved to be developed as an independent effort for the village's well-being. This research aimed to reveal the potential of the local wisdom-based village in Talekoi and Danau Bambure Village as an effort to strengthen the IKN buffer areas. Qualitative research with phenomenological designs was the analytical tool. Research informants comprised two village chiefs, two public figures, and two youth figures. Data collection methods included partitional observations, in-depth interviews, and document study. The data analysis used was an interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The result of the research showed that the stink bean farm and salted fish processing from Talekoi Village was an economic activity for promising village potential. Furthermore, lake tourism and clean water in Danau Bambure Village became the leading potential in utilizing local wisdom-based village potential and preparing the village's well-being to strengthen the IKN buffer areas.

Abstract

This research aims to create local batik motif. This research was focused on creating local Tambun Bungai batik motifs for the creative economic identity of Central Kalimantan Province in supporting SDGs in regional development. This research uses a design creation approach that is implemented on fabric using a digital batik printing process. The design creation research methods involves the following steps. (1) identification (2) research (3) idea formulation (4) prototype (5) selection (6) implementation (7) evaluation. The results yield are typical Tambun Bungai batik which has its own uniqueness, inspired by the richness of the natural landscape, traditional art and has bold color patterns that convey a strong impression of the philosophical values ​​inherent in Central Kalimantan batik motifs as well as being an effective regional promotional media. Abstract

One of the tourist settlements that could be converted into a more upscale destination is Sei Gohong. The existence of traditional houses as a part of Palangka Raya City's cultural legacy ought to spur the development of the tourist villages' inventiveness. Sei Gohong Village's problem is the constant, non-increasing number of visitors. Tourists should be drawn in by the presence of built cultural assets close to the tourism sector. Nevertheless, in the process of creating cultural tourism towns, the cultural heritage has not been adequately and creatively utilized as an alternative source. Using lecture and Q&A methods, the community empowerment method was employed in this exercise. Socialization, program sustainability, and evaluation were among the activity stages. In order to socialize cultural tourism, the team worked with the community to conduct a direct field visit as part of their intervention. One of the main draws for travellers visiting Sei Gohong Village is its cultural tourism. Travelers can be drawn in by the use of cultural heritage as a platform for performing arts and technology in regional cultural arts activities. Introducing local culture to visitors as a new tourism attraction may help draw them to the village.

Abstract

Early childhood learning in kindergarten is a sensitive period that only occurs once in a lifetime. Sensitive period is a period of physical and psychological development as the children receive stimulus from the surrounding environment. RA Hidayatul Insan is one of the target partners that serves as an object in training the sensitivity of the children who attend the school. The problem that occurs is not far from the current globalization which is quite worrying. The world of fast-developing video games is preferred by children rather than honing their creativity in coloring pictures as a fun activity. In addition, the problem also seems to have an effect on the current generation in abandoning their regional cultural identity. The solution that can be offered in solving this problem is by the tambun bungai decorative coloring training as an effort to recognize cultural identity, especially in Central Kalimantan as a local culture. Many methods can be used to overcome this problem. However, the first method was direct observation of the children's habits accompanied by the socialization of the coloring program, the second was a demonstration or simulation of coloring the tambun bungai decorative pattern as a local identity, and the last activity was to conduct a workshop on coloring the tambun bungai decorative pattern together with the children. The activity aimed to encourage children to be creative in coloring the tambun bungai decorative pattern in recognizing local cultural identity. Thus, children can develop creativity in activating the right brain while recognizing the local cultural identity of the Central Kalimantan province.

Abstract

Kawasan wisata Taman Nasional Sabangau terletak di Kota Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah. Sebagai wisata andalan, kawasan ini merupakan habitat bagi flora dan fauna khas Kalimantan. Namun masyarakat sekitar wilayah ini masih dihadapkan dengan berbagai permasalahan salah satunya adalah ekonomi. Pemberdayaan komunitas lokal berwawasan ekonomi kreatif dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Melalui pelatihan pembuatan benang bintik bermotif fauna khas Sabangau yang diberikan kepada PKK Kalampangan diharapkan akan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan serta kreativitas masyarakat yang kemudian menjadi diproduksi menjadi salah satu produk ekonomi kreatif. Pelatihan pembuatan benang bintik yang telah dilakukan pada bulan Oktober diikuti oleh 15 peserta mendapatkan atensi dari masyarakat dan juga pihak Kelurahan Kalampangan. Hasil evaluasi juga menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan serta keterampilan dari peserta setelah mengikuti pelatihan.

Abstract

Transformasi estetik keramik Kasongan tumbuh seiring berjalanya waktu. Perubahan sosial budaya yang terjadi pada masyarakat perajin keramik Kasongan merupakan suatu gambaran yang dapat diinterpretasikan sebagai pengarah dalam transformasi estetik keramik Kasongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji transformasi estetik keramik Kasongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan model interpretatif, yaitu memahami dan mendeskripsikan fenomena transformasi estetik keramik Kasongan dalam konteks perubahan sosial budaya masayarakat perajin. Produk yang dihasilkan dari seni kerajinan keramik Kasongan merupakan suatu produk budaya yang dilestarikan oleh para perajin sebagai pembuatnya. Perubahan seni kerajinan keramik Kasongan semula sebatas barang-barang untuk keperluan rumah tangga dengan desain yang semula sebatas lingkaran, membulat, silinder, berubah menjadi bentuk binatang dengan teknik dekorasi tempel, guci-gucian dengan teknik finishing cat ataupun mozaik kaca, serta patung Loroblonyo dengan teknik finishing glasir. Desain keramik yang semula berfungsi sebagsi pemenuhan kebutuhan sehari-hari telah mengalami perubahan desain, yaitu kearah disain keramik yang tidak hanya fungsional praktis (tradisional). Akan tetapi lebih ke arah desain produk seni (hiasan) atau seni praktis (hiasan yang fungsional). Perubahan sosial budaya dengan masyarakat luas berpengaruh terhadap variasi produk yang dihasilkan perajin keramik di Kasongan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan karakter siswa melalui pembelajaran Seni Budaya pada siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Dusun Hilir Kabupaten Barito Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, sehingga memaparkan secara lengkap masalah yang diteliti sesuai dengan data lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ialah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen, dan perekaman. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perkembangan karakter siswa melalui pembelajaran seni budaya siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Dusun Hilir Kabupaten Barito Selatan dirasa belum optimal. Jika ditinjau dari beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan karakter siswa terdapat dua faktor pendukung, faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi faktor jasmaniah, sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi kepala sekolah, guru seni budaya,keluarga, lingkungan sosial dan teman sebaya, media dan teknologi, budaya dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti tentang tari Miempu yang diciptakan oleh Sesiliani. Tari Miempu merupakan tarian tradisi kreasi yang digarap berdasarkan sebuah upacara ritual yang ada di Desa Dorong Kabupaten Barito Timur Kalimantan Tengah. Upacara ritual Miempu merupakan upacara ritual masyarakat Suku Dayak Maanyan sebagai ritual pengobatan atau penyembuhan yang masih berlangsung sampai saat ini. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui fungsi dan elemen-elemen atau unsur-unsur yang ada dalam pertunjukan tari Miempu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menghasilkan data deskriptif. Langkah penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, fungsi dan elemen-elemen atau unsur-unsur yang ada dalam tari Miempu terdiri dari gerak, musik, desain lantai, properti, tema, tata rias, kostum, tata cahaya dan ruang.
