Abstract

Abstract

Transparency and public trust have become essential pillars for strengthening governmental legitimacy, particularly in democratic systems facing rising complexity and declining citizen confidence. This study aims to examine how the integration of political leadership and servant leadership can enhance institutional transparency and reinforce public trust. Using a qualitative literature study, the research analyzes scholarly articles, policy reports, and empirical studies published within the last decade. Data were collected through document analysis and evaluated using qualitative content analysis to identify thematic patterns related to leadership, transparency, and trust-building mechanisms. The findings indicate that servant leadership contributes significantly to ethical governance, open communication, and participatory decision-making, thereby promoting a transparency-oriented organizational culture. Meanwhile, political leadership provides the structural authority and policy direction necessary to institutionalize transparency through formal mechanisms such as open-government initiatives and public accountability systems. The integration of these two leadership approaches produces a synergistic effect: ethical values embedded in servant leadership are strengthened by the institutional power of political leadership, resulting in more consistent transparency practices and stronger public trust. This study offers strategic implications for public-sector leaders seeking to improve institutional legitimacy, accountability, and citizen engagement.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of human resource analytics in supporting strategic decision making within modern talent management. The research employs a library research approach by reviewing books, scientific journals, research articles, reports, and other relevant literature related to HR analytics, talent management, and strategic decisions. Data were collected through literature review techniques and analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and significant findings. The results indicate that HR analytics plays a strategic role in improving recruitment effectiveness, performance management, employee retention, workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational performance. Furthermore, the study finds that the successful implementation of HR analytics depends on data quality, technological capabilities, analytical competencies, leadership support, and strategic integration. The findings suggest that organizations can enhance decision quality and achieve sustainable competitive advantages by optimizing the use of workforce data. Therefore, HR analytics should be considered a strategic organizational capability that supports evidence-based talent management and long-term business success.

Abstract

This conceptual study addresses the persistent gap between digital transformation initiatives and employee performance improvement in public sector organizations. It aims to develop an integrated explanatory understanding of how digital transformation shapes employee performance through human resource competence and adaptive leadership. The study uses a literature-based methodology, relying on written scholarly sources (books, journal articles, prior research, and academic reports) as the primary and secondary data base. The analysis employs content analysis to identify conceptual patterns and relationships among the three constructs and their connection to employee performance mechanisms. The findings indicate that digital transformation becomes performance-effective when employees possess the relevant human resource competence to operate within redesigned workflows and when adaptive leadership organizes learning, clarifies priorities, and coordinates implementation under uncertainty. The study concludes that performance outcomes are best explained through a mechanism-based linkage rather than a technology-only perspective in public sector contexts.

Abstract

This community engagement program aimed to strengthen secondary students’ entrepreneurial competence through an experiential-learning-based training that integrates an idea-analysis worksheet (positive–negative) as scaffolding and Business Model Canvas (BMC) development. The program was conducted at SMA Mujahidin Surabaya on 27 January 2023 in a single intensive session (approximately 2 hours) involving 99 students. The implementation followed Kolb’s experiential learning cycle (concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation) delivered in four stages: character and idea elicitation, worksheet completion, BMC drafting, and presentation/reflection. Evaluation was carried out through participatory observation and artifact assessment using predefined indicators for the worksheet and each BMC block; achievement was calculated as the percentage of participants meeting the indicators. Results indicate that 85% of students completed the worksheet accurately and 78.5% completed all nine BMC blocks. The main difficulties were found in the financial blocks (cost structure and revenue streams), suggesting the need for staged financial-literacy support in follow-up sessions. Overall, the approach shows promise as a practical and replicable model for entrepreneurship education at the secondary level.

Abstract

Organizational dynamics in the digital era require a human resource management (HRM) approach that emphasizes the sustainable management of employees' psychological aspects. This study aims to analyze the role of HRM as a psychological energy regulation system in supporting organizational sustainability, focusing on medium-sized manufacturing companies in Greater Jakarta. Psychological energy, encompassing motivation, work engagement, and emotional resilience, is positioned as a strategic resource influencing organizational performance continuity. A quantitative explanatory design was employed, involving 72 employees from manufacturing companies. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The variables include HRM practices, psychological energy regulation, and organizational sustainability. The findings indicate that HRM practices positively affect psychological energy regulation, which in turn enhances organizational sustainability, particularly in productivity and employee engagement. Psychological energy also mediates the relationship between HRM and organizational sustainability. This study contributes to HRM literature by positioning psychological energy as a key mechanism in maintaining organizational sustainability. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of developing HRM systems capable of managing employees' psychological capacity in facing complex organizational dynamics.
