Abstract

Abstrak_ Kabupaten Enrekang masuk dalam kategori kawasan utama dalam memproduksi bawang merah yang  mampu mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat setempat bahkan antar-provinsi dan pulau. Sifat bawang merah yang  mudah rusak dan tingginya persaingan kualitas di Indonesia membuat harga bawang kadang tidak stabil yang  memberikan inisiatif untuk membuat produk olahan bawang merah agar bisa disimpan lebih lama. Dari  permasalahan di atas maka perlu di bangunan sebuah industri makanan Pusat Pengolahan Bawang Merah untuk  memberikan peluang bagi petani bawang merah di Kabupaten Enrekang agar hasil panen yang ada bisa diolah dan  dimanfaatkan sebagaimana mestinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif melalui studi  literatur,studi lapangan, studi banding atau studi preseden untuk membandingkan bangunan yang memiliki fungsi  yang sama. Konsep Arsitektur Modern dipilih dalam perancangan Pusat Pengolahan Bawang Merah, hal ini  ditunjang oleh alasan bahwa modernisasi akan memberikan dampak yang baik pada desain, bentuk, material dan  fungsinya. Arsitektur modern juga tidak hanya memberikan keindahan suatu bangunan tetapi dapat memudahkan  proses produksi. Filosofi bangunan diambil dari bentuk bawang merah serta arsitektur modern kubisme yang  kemudian disesuaikan dengan tapak yang berkontur memberikan elevasi yang berbeda berdasarkan area dan  fungsinya.Kata kunci : Pusat Pengolahan; Arsitektur Modern; Enrekang. Abstract_ Enrekang Regency is included in the category of the main area in producing shallots that are able to meet the needs of the local community and even between provinces and islands. The nature of shallots that are easily damaged and the high-quality competition in Indonesia makes onion prices sometimes unstable which gives the initiative to make processed shallot products so that they can be stored longer. From the problems above, it is necessary to build a food industry, the Shallot Processing Center, to provide opportunities for shallot farmers in Enrekang Regency so that the existing harvest can be processed and utilized properly. The method used is a descriptive method through literature studies, field studies, comparative studies, or precedent studies to compare buildings that have the same function. The concept of Modern Architecture was chosen in the design of the Shallot Processing Center, this is supported by the reason that modernity will have a good impact on the design, form, material, and function. Modern architecture also not only gives the beauty of a building but can facilitate the production process. The shape of the building that bends from the onion philosophy and modern cubism architecture which is then adapted to the contoured site gives different elevations based on the area and function. Abstract

Abstrak_ Pusat pelelangan ikan Beba ini selain untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan juga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian di sekitarnya dan sebagai daerah rekreasi. kec. Pusat pelelangan ikan beba yang jaraknya dari pusat  kota kurang lebih dengan jarak tempuh 1 Jam, potensi yang menjadi daya tariknya adalah tempat Pelelengan ikan dan tempat cafe (sebagai pasar wisata) yang banyak dan sering dikunjungi setiap harinya baik oleh penduduk asli maupun para pendatang sebagai daerah yang memiliki warisan budaya, masyarakat asli sangat menjunjung tinggi dan menjaga keutuhan budaya tersebut misal dengan menggunakan bentuk bentuk rumah adat. Lokasi pengamatan merupakan wilayah penghasil bahan tambang aspal Aktivitas pertambangan dapat menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan. Upaya meminimalisir kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi salah satunya dengan mendesain bangunan yang ramah lingkungan untuk itu konsep arsitektur neo vernakular merupakan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam  perancangan Pusat pelelangan ikan di Galesong Utara Takalar. Konsep arsitektur neo vernakular yang  diaplikasikan fokus pada pencahayaan alami dan green roof. Pengaplikasiannya meliputi: penggunaan kisi-kisi  kayu pada fasad, penanaman vernonia elliptica pada area dekat bukaan, penggunaan atap skylight, penggunaan  bukaan kaca dan penggunaan intensive green roof. Kata kunci: Pusat Pelelangan Ikan; Arsitektur Neo Vernakular; Galesong Utara Takalar.  Abstract_ The Beba Fish Auction Center is not only to fulfill needs, but it can also improve the surrounding economy and as a recreational area. district. Beba fish auction center which is located approximately 1 hour from the city center,  the potential attraction is the TPI and the Cafe (as a tourist market) which are many and are often visited every day by both natives and immigrants as an area that has a cultural heritage, indigenous peoples highly uphold and maintain the integrity of the culture, for example by using the forms of traditional houses. The observation location is an area that produces asphalt mining materials. Mining activities can cause environmental damage. One of the efforts to minimize environmental damage that occurs is by designing environmentally friendly buildings. For this reason, the concept of neo vernacular architecture is the approach used in the design of the fish auction center in North  Galesong, Takalar. The neo vernacular architectural concept applied focuses on natural lighting and green roofs. Its applications include the use of wooden lattices on the facade, planting of vernonia elliptical in the area near the openings, the use of skylight roofs, the use of glass openings, and the use of intensive green roofs.Keywords: Fish Auction Center; Neo Vernacular Architecture; North Galesong Takalar.

Abstract

Abstract_ Polewali Mandar is one of the districts in Indonesia that has a variety of dance arts. It is believed to be the center of art and culture. In 2019 Polewali Mandar hosted the Polewali Mandar International Folk and Art Festival (PIFAF) to promote the arts and culture of the people in West Sulawesi (Sulbar) to foreign tourists, who since 2016 hosted the event. Because of this, it was thought to plan an Art Gallery in Polewali Mandar where people can study, demonstrate, maintain and develop art as the times go on. Abstract

Planning for student dormitories is a means of fulfilling residential needs for students in Sengkang city, Wajo district. As for this design research using the method of literature study and field studies with in-depth interview techniques, observation and documentation. The object of this research focuses on the Puanrimagalatung University and the Lamaddukeleng Campus which are close together. The architectural approach used in planning student dormitories uses behavioral architecture with the aim of regulating behavior and minimizing deviant behavior in student building users. The design results obtained are able to provide comfort in terms of student accessibility to campus and the infrastructure that supports the lives of its residents. In addition, this dormitory planning also pays attention to meeting the needs of dormitory residents by providing supporting facilities in the hostel environment.

Abstract

Population density is an essential issue for a country, especially Indonesia, because of its enormous impact on its progress. Demographically and in terms of development aspects, Makassar City is one of the largest cities in Indonesia, with various ethnic groups living. As a service center in the eastern region of Indonesia, Makassar City plays a role in trade and service centers, industrial activities, government activities, freight and passenger transportation service nodes, land, sea, and air, and education and health service centers. This then causes the population growth rate in Makassar City to become uncontrollable and, of course, causes problems in the housing sector. The negative physical aspects that arise require a strategy to solve them. To overcome this, vertical villages can be used to reduce slum settlements and for the need for land for housing in urban areas, especially Makassar City. The design of vertical villages uses a behavioral architectural approach because this approach can respond to human needs and feelings that adapt to the human lifestyle in it. In reality, an architect’s imagination in the design process will produce different results after the process of use or occupancy. For this reason, it is necessary to understand basic human needs and how architectural design relates to human and environmental behavior. The selection of the design location was also based on various criteria or considerations, including being in the city center, an area with a high population density, and an integrated residential area.

Abstract

In the salt industry sector, Jeneponto district, according to Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS)Jeneponto has a land area of 622.66 Ha; the number of business units of 850 with a total workforce of 2,345 people and production results 21,316.00 tons. This is a great potential in the development of production. Salt is found in Indonesia, especially in South Sulawesi, and has cultural value. including in the form of traditional regional houses. So therefore, the building of the Salt Management Center in Jeneponto will refer to the approach neo-vernacular architecture in terms of philosophy and aesthetics of building forms with an area of 29,300 m2, the design of the Salt Management Center has several building facilities consisting of factory buildings, management offices, mosque, and cafeteria, including parking, a garden, and a field. Component the structure applies a wide spanstructure, namely, from the bottom structure there is tread and sloof foundations; the middle structure consists of walls, columns, and ringbalk. The superstructure applies the roof structure of cremona, or better known as steel pipe frame structure. The choice of form philosophy in traditional houses Jeneponto (Balla Kambara) with a neo-vernacular architectural approach is expected to be an effort to preserve local culture, especially in Jeneponto. On the other hand, in terms of Islamic values, it is expected that Cultural influences will not be separated from regional identity and will always be bound in one unity.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Daging sapi adalah bahan pangan yang sangat penting di Indonesia, tetapi permintaannya terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun sementara suplai daging sapi masih kurang. Para peternak menghadapi kesulitan dalam menemukan lahan yang cukup untuk peternakan dan juga kurangnya pemahaman tentang pemeliharaan ternak yang modern dan higienis. Kota Makassar, sebagai ibu kota Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan penduduk lebih dari 1,5 juta jiwa, mengalami pertumbuhan penduduk yang cepat, yang mengakibatkan peningkatan konsumsi daging yang mencapai rata-rata 15-20 ton per tahun. Metode peternakan tradisional yang masih digunakan tidak lagi memadai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan daging di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Kawasan Peternakan Modern yang dapat meningkatkan pasokan daging di Kota Makassar dan menjaga populasi ternak yang ada melalui perbaikan proses pembibitan. Rancangan kawasan peternakan ini juga menerapkan konsep arsitektur ramah lingkungan dengan fokus pada pengolahan limbah, pencahayaan, dan penghawaan alami untuk mencapai tujuan zero waste dalam pengelolaan kawasan peternakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan data sekunder, serta melakukan studi perbandingan untuk menganalisis dan menyimpulkan hasil desain kawasan peternakan modern dengan pendekatan arsitektur ramah lingkungan di Kota Makassar. Hasil desain perancangan kawasan peternakan modern menfokuskan pada pengolahan limbah, pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami pada bangunan. Kata Kunci : Arsitektur Ramah Lingkungan; Kawasan Peternakan; Daging Abstract Beef is a vital food source in Indonesia, but its demand continues to rise year after year, while the supply of beef remains insufficient. Farmers face difficulties in finding adequate land for livestock farming, and there is also a lack of understanding of modern and hygienic livestock management practices. Makassar, as the capital of South Sulawesi Province with a population of over 1.5 million people, is experiencing rapid population growth, resulting in an increased consumption of beef, averaging 15-20 tons per year. The traditional farming methods still in use are no longer sufficient to meet the demand for beef in Makassar. This research aims to design a Modern Livestock Farming Area that can enhance the beef supply in Makassar and maintain the existing livestock population through improved breeding processes. The design of this livestock area also incorporates an eco-friendly architectural concept, with a focus on waste management, natural lighting, and ventilation, to achieve zero waste goals in the management of the livestock area. The research methodology employed is descriptive analysis, involving the collection of primary and secondary data, as well as comparative studies to analyze and conclude the results of the modern livestock farming area design with an eco-friendly architectural approach in Makassar. Abstract

This study aims to develop a bioclimatic design framework for the Pantai Alam Aquatic Center in Bulukumba Regency, Indonesia, tailored to the local humid climate. Bioclimatic architecture, which integrates climatic data and environmental considerations into building design, is employed to enhance energy efficiency and user comfort. This design includes the use of natural ventilation, natural lighting, and local materials, which have proven to be effective in creating energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. Through literature analysis and case studies, this research demonstrates that the application of bioclimatic principles can reduce energy consumption and improve thermal comfort. The findings underscore the importance of climate considerations in architectural design, especially in tropical regions. This study concludes that bioclimatic design is not only relevant but also critical for the development of sustainable and climate-adaptive public facilities. Further research is needed to monitor long-term performance and apply it to other building types. This project provides a model that can be adapted for public facilities in other tropical regions, promoting more environmentally friendly design practices.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Holistik Integratif merupakan pendidikan anak usia dini yang dijalankan dengan cara memenuhi kebutuhan dasar anak yang beragam dan saling terkait secara sistematis, simultan, dan terintegrasi. Pendidikan anak usia dini seharusnya dilaksanakan secara holistik dan terpadu, meliputi pendidikan, kesehatan, gizi, pengasuhan dan perlindungan, serta harus didesain dengan bangunan yang ramah anak dari segi keamanan dan kenyamanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterlaksanaan PAUD secara Holistik Integratif di kabupaten Sengkang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi lapangan dan studi literatur kemudian di analisis dengan data sintesis dan menjadi sebuah konsep desain. Berdasarkan hasil survey, sebanyak 32 gedung PAUD yang terdaftar di kota Sengkang, rata-rata memiliki fasilitas untuk pendidikan dan kebutuhan bermain tetapi belum sampai ke pelayanan secara holistik integratif. Hasil penelitian berupa konsep desain grafis gedung PAUD yang terintegrasi holistik, ramah terhadap anak-anak, dapat menjadi wadah yang menarik bagi anak untuk berkegiatan dan  menunjang tumbuh kembang anak. Konsep yang temukan ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan pada fasilitas PAUD di daerah lain.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena ketidaksesuaian jenis ruang yang tersedia di rumah susun dengan pemanfaatannya. Indikasi perubahan fungsi ruang ini terlihat dimana teritori publik dan semipublik banyak yang dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan pribadi.Hal ini berpotensi menimbulkan konflik spatial, menurunkan kualitas fisik ruang dan kualitas kehidupan penghuninya sendiri.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik pemanfaatan ruang dan teritorialitas yang terdapat di ruang publik dan semi publik sebagai fasilitas rumah susun.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan pemetaan perilaku penghuni terhadap ruangnya (place centered map), interview dan diklasifikasi secara deskriptif.Berdasarkan penelitian teridentifikasi sebanyak sembilan pola territory yang terbentuk berdasarkan pemanfaatan ruang dan perletakan benda pribadi yang sebagian besarnya ternyata terjadi pada area territory yang terdekat dengan unit hunian penghuni.Kata kunci : Teritorialitas, Ruang Publik dan semipublik, Rumah Susun. Abstract_ The study is motivated by the phenomenon of mismatchingbetween the facilities available and the utilization. This is indicated by the deviation of space function, where the public and semipublic territory mostly used for other personal purposes. It is also potentially lead to conflicts of spatial, reduce the quality of space and the quality life of residents.  The study purpose is to describe the characteristics of the space utilization and territoriality contained in the public and semi-public space as facilities flats. The method used is by mapping the residents’ behavior towards a space (place centered map), interviews and classified descriptively. The results of identification, there are  nine patterns of territory formed based on the utilization of space and the placement of personal objects and mostly occurred on the territory area which is close to residential unit.Keywords : Territoriality, public and semipublic space, flats.
