Abstract

This Decision Support System (DSS) is designed to evaluate land suitability for horticultural crops, specifically legumes, using a combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and VIKOR (Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje) methods. The system aids farmers in determining the appropriate crops based on the available land conditions. The research includes problem identification, literature review, data collection, and system design. The implementation of the AHP-VIKOR methods has proven effective and accurate in providing horticultural crop recommendations. This system adds value to modern and efficient agricultural land management. The research results show that the AHP-VIKOR methods successfully applied in determining the suitability of land for legumes in the areas of Bireun, Bukit Rata, Sawang, and Pesisir Pelabuhan Kreung Geukuh with satisfactory outcomes. Therefore, the AHP-VIKOR methods are considered optimal for weighting criteria and ranking alternatives in selecting land for legume crops

Abstract

The Lhokseumawe district attorney's office is a law enforcement institution that utilizes a website as an essential medium for delivering public information and services. To ensure its optimal function, this research aims to evaluate the website's usability quality level. This study adopts the Usability Testing method with a quantitative descriptive approach , based on the five metrics proposed by Jakob Nielsen: learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and user satisfaction. Data collection involved direct observation of 10 users performing core task scenarios, supplemented by questionnaires and interviews. The test results indicate that the website generally meets several usability aspects. However, there are still significant shortcomings in the areas of efficiency and user satisfaction. Quantitatively, the website's total usability score is 87.5% , with the average satisfaction score using the System Usability Scale (SUS) being 65%. Based on these findings, this study recommends improvements to the navigation structure and user interface (UI) design to enhance the quality of digital services and provide a better user experience (UX). The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the website administrators of the Lhokseumawe District Attorney's Office for further system development

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Pesisir, Kota Lhokseumawe, difokuskan pada penguatan kapasitas petani ikan melalui rancang bangun dan implementasi sistem monitoring kualitas air kolam berbasis digital. Kegiatan ini melibatkan petani ikan lokal dalam pelatihan edukatif-partisipatif, mencakup pemahaman parameter kualitas air, penggunaan sensor digital, dan pemantauan secara real-time. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola kolam secara berbasis data, serta kemampuan melakukan intervensi yang tepat untuk menjaga kesehatan ikan dan meningkatkan produktivitas kolam. Selain dampak teknis dan produktivitas, program ini membangun literasi teknologi, respons adaptif terhadap perubahan lingkungan, dan budaya kolaboratif di komunitas pesisir. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi model berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial-ekonomi, praktik budidaya adaptif, dan transformasi komunitas melalui pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna.

Abstract

Unemployment is a significant socio-economic problem in Lhokseumawe City that requires serious attention from policymakers. The unemployment rate fluctuates from year to year, making accurate forecasting an important aspect in formulating effective strategies and policies to reduce unemployment. One method that can be used to analyze and forecast time series data with uncertainty is the Fuzzy Time Series (FTS) method, which applies fuzzy logic concepts to handle vague and imprecise data patterns. In this study, the Fuzzy Time Series method is applied to predict the number of unemployed people in Lhokseumawe City. The data used are historical unemployment data over a period of 10 years, from 2013 to 2022. The research process begins with defining the universe of discourse (U), determining the number and length of interval classes, defining fuzzy sets on U, and fuzzifying the unemployment data. Furthermore, Fuzzy Logical Relationships (FLR) are identified and grouped into Fuzzy Logical Relationship Groups (FLRG). The defuzzification process is then carried out to obtain crisp values, followed by forecasting calculations.The analysis was conducted using the RStudio application. The forecasting results show that the predicted number of unemployed people in 2023 is 10,514.125, which is rounded to 10,514 people. The accuracy of the forecasting model is evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Average Forecasting Error Rate (AFER), both of which yield values of 6.70%. Since the MAPE and AFER values are less than 10%, the forecasting results can be categorized as very good and reliable for decision-making purposes.

Abstract

Serangan Hama burung pipit dan monyet dilahan sawah mengakibatkan kerugian hasil panen yang signifikan. Selama ini, petani masih menggunakan metode tradisional seperti orang-orangan sawah dan bunyi-bunyian manual untuk mengusir hama, namun cara tersebut kurang efektif dalam jangka panjang. Serangan burung pipit mengakibatkan penurunan hasil panen hingga 50% sehingga tim pengabdian mengimplementasikan alat pengusir hama berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat dipantau melalui perangkat Android yang telah dibuat. Alat ini menggunakan sensor ultrasonik untuk mendeteksi pergerakan hama yang dapat menjangkau area sawah yang sulit diawasi secara langsung. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi implementasi alat, pelatihan penggunaan alat bagi kelompok tani, serta pendampingan lapangan selama masa uji coba. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan alat IoT ini mampu mengurangi serangan hama hingga 70% dibandingkan metode manual sebelumnya. Selain itu, pemahaman petani terhadap teknologi tepat guna meningkat, terlihat dari kemampuan mereka dalam mengoperasikan serta merawat alat secara mandiri.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pemahaman awal, mengimplementasikan pelatihan terstruktur, serta mengukur dampak pengenalan teknik animasi dua dimensi terhadap kompetensi multimedia siswa SMK Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar. Metode deskriptif kualitatif diterapkan dengan melibatkan empat puluh partisipan yang mengikuti pelatihan intensif selama lima puluh jam pada Oktober 2022. Materi difokuskan pada penguasaan teknik shape tweening dan motion tweening menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek pembuatan animasi transformasi geometris. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penguasaan teknis dan kreativitas peserta, dibuktikan melalui keberhasilan menyelesaikan karya animasi sederhana dengan pemahaman memadai terhadap prinsip timing, spacing, dan transformasi objek. Antusiasme tinggi dan respons positif dari peserta mengindikasikan efektivitas pendekatan pembelajaran praktis dalam membangun kompetensi animasi. Program ini memberikan kontribusi empiris terhadap pengembangan pendidikan vokasi multimedia di Aceh Besar sekaligus membuka peluang kolaborasi berkelanjutan antara perguruan tinggi dan institusi kejuruan untuk menjawab tuntutan industri kreatif kontemporer.

Abstract

Abstrak Mahasiswa KKN di Jorong Atas Laban, Nagari Halaban, Kecamatan Lareh Sago Halaban, melaksanakan salah satu program kerja pengelolaan sampah berbasis ecobrick dan ekoenzim. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah sampah menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat serta ramah lingkungan. Sampah plastik diolah menjadi ecobrick, yaitu botol plastik bekas yang diisi padat dengan sampah plastik lainnya, dan kemudian dirangkai menjadi sebuah ikon berbentuk nanas. Pemilihan bentuk nanas sebagai simbol program didasarkan pada potensi lokal, mengingat Jorong Atas Laban dikenal sebagai salah satu sentra penghasil nanas.. Sedangkan sampah organik seperti kulit buah dan sayuran difermentasi menjadi ekoenzim, yakni cairan serbaguna yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan rumah tangga dan pertanian. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan praktik langsung bersama warga. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga dan remaja yang menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mengikuti setiap tahapan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mulai mampu memilah dan mengolah sampah secara mandiri, serta memahami pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta lingkungan yang lebih sehat dan bersih serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap kebiasaan hidup masyarakat di Jorong Atas Laban. Abstract The Community Service Program (KKN) held in Jorong Atas Laban, Nagari Halaban, Lareh Sago Halaban District, raised the theme of household waste management based on ecobricks and ecoenzymes. This program aims to increase community awareness and skills in processing waste into something useful and environmentally friendly. Plastic waste is processed into ecobricks, which are used plastic bottles filled tightly with other plastic waste so that it can be reused as a simple building material. Meanwhile, organic waste such as fruit and vegetable peels is fermented into ecoenzymes, a multipurpose liquid that can be used for household and agricultural purposes. The method of implementation of the activity is carried out through socialization, training, and direct practice with residents. The participants consisted of housewives and teenagers who showed high enthusiasm in following each stage. The results of this program show that the community is starting to be able to sort and process waste independently, and understand the importance of maintaining a clean environment. With this activity, it is hoped that a healthier and cleaner environment will be created and have a positive impact on the lifestyle of the community in Jorong Atas Laban.
