Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Creative Projects and Entrepreneurship of Class XI Students of HKBP Pematangsiantar Private Vocational Schools in the Academic Year 2024/2025. This study uses a pre-experimental research method of the one-group posttest-questionnaire type. Based on the partial hypothesis test, the results show that there is a positive and significant influence between Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on learning outcomes as indicated by the t count (2.069)> t table (2.00324). Based on the determination coefficient test, the Rsquare value was obtained at 0.072, which means that 7.2% of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) variable influences the Learning Outcomes of Creative Projects and Entrepreneurship of Class While 92.8% is the influence of other variables that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study aimed at determining the influence of using social media as a learning resource on the economics learning outcomes of grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar. This approach was used to describe the relationship between existing variables without any manipulation or direct intervention. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 25 statement items, of which 20 were declared valid (rcount > rtable 0.333) and reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.754. The data normality test using the chi-square test showed that the data were normally distributed. The simple linear regression analysis resulted in the equation Y = 46.975 + 0.491X, indicating a positive relationship between social media and learning outcomes. Hypothesis testing using the t-test showed that tcount (4.883) > ttable (1.663), indicating a significant influence. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.2209, which means that the contribution of social media use to learning outcomes was 22.09%, while the remaining 77.91% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus, the use of social media as a learning resource provides a positive and significant contribution to students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of school facilities and teacher performance on student achievement in social studies for eighth graders at SMP Negeri 2 Bosar Maligas in the 2024/2025 academic year. Student achievement in this study is examined from a cognitive perspective, specifically the Mid-Semester Exam (UTS) scores for social studies. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a descriptive approach. The study population was all 67 eighth grade students, using a saturated sampling technique, thus sampling the entire population. Data collection instruments included questionnaires and documentation of mid-term exam scores. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) tests. The results showed that (1) school facilities had a positive and significant effect on social studies achievement for eighth graders at SMP Negeri 2 Bosar Maligas; (2) teacher performance had a positive and significant effect on social studies achievement; and (3) school facilities and teacher performance simultaneously had a significant effect on social studies achievement. Thus, it can be concluded that improving the quality of school facilities and optimizing teacher performance are important factors in efforts to improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and discipline on student learning outcomes in Economics for Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar, Academic Year 2025/2026. This research is quantitative and uses descriptive methods. The study population comprised 11 classes with 178 students. Sampling was conducted using proportional random sampling, resulting in a sample size of 64 students. Data were collected through questionnaires for the variables of learning motivation and learning discipline, as well as tests as indicators of learning outcomes in economics subjects. Data analysis techniques used include simple linear regression tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficients of determination. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes with (t count = 2.195> t table = 1.669) and there is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes with (t count = 1.784> t table = 1.669). The results of the F test show that simultaneously both variables have a significant effect on student learning outcomes (F count = 9.2> F table = 3.15). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.429 indicates that 42.9% of the variation in student learning outcomes is influenced by learning motivation and learning discipline, while the remaining 57.1% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of learning discipline and learning motivation on the economics learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. This study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The research population consisted of 10 classes with a total of 335 students. The sample of 89 students was selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires for the variables of learning discipline and motivation, and tests as indicators of students’ learning outcomes in economics. Data analysis techniques included simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the analysis indicated that learning discipline had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes (tcount = 3.153 > ttable = 1.987), and learning motivation also had a positive and significant effect (tcount = 5.177 > ttable = 1.987). The F-test revealed that both variables simultaneously had a significant influence on students’ learning outcomes (Fcount = 101.8 > Ftable = 3.10). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.61 indicated that 61% of the variation in students’ learning outcomes was influenced by learning discipline and motivation, while the remaining 39% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how learning facilities and discipline influence the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar. The variables in this research are learning facilities and discipline as independent variables and learning outcomes as dependent variables. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, with a population of all class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar totaling 222 . students and the research sample was 145 students selected using random sampling techniques . Data collection techniques use observation and questionnaires, while data analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity, multiple linear regression, t tests, f tests, and coefficient of determination tests (R2). ​The results of this research indicate that there is no positive and significant influence between learning facilities on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar as seen from the tcountl<ttable or 1.032<1.6556. There is a positive and significant influence between learning discipline on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar as seen from the value of tcount>ttable or 3.338> 1.6556 . There is a positive and significant influence between learning facilities and discipline on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar as seen from the fcount>ftable value or 6.416>3.06 and the significant value is 0.001<0.05.

Abstract

Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 38 orang. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berbentuk esai buatan guru serta lembar observasi untuk merekam peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa selama proses belajar mengajar berlangsung. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Dari data hasil observasi aktivitas belajar yang dilakukan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar pada siklus II, aktivitas belajar siswa juga meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I dari 38 orang siswa terdapat 7 orang (18,42%) siswa untuk kriteria tidak aktif, 23 orang (60,52%) siswa untuk kriteria cukup aktif, 8 orang (21,06%) siswa untuk kriteria aktif dan untuk kriteria sangat aktif tidak ada. Sementara pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi untuk kriteria tidak aktif menjadi 1 orang (2,64%), 3 orang (7,89%) siswa untuk kriteria cukup aktif, 30 orang (78,95%) siswa untuk kriteria aktif dan 4 orang (10,52%) siswa untuk kriteria sangat aktif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS mengalami peningkatan ditahap siklus II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh lingkungan sekolah dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswakelas XI pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Swasta Bina Guna Tanah Jawa Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Masalah penelitian berawal dari rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, di mana 64% dari total 70 siswa memperoleh nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) sebesar 75. Rendahnya hasil belajar tersebut diduga disebabkan oleh kondisi lingkungan sekolah yang kurang mendukung proses pembelajaran dan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif denganpendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 70 orang, sekaligus dijadikan sampel penelitian dengan tekniksampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup dengan skalaLikert untuk mengukur variabel lingkungan sekolah (X₁), motivasi belajar (X₂),dan hasil belajar (Y). Teknik analisis data meliputi uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, uji normalitas data, serta uji hipotesis menggunakan analisisregresi linier sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, yang berarti semakin baik kondisi fisik, sosial, dan akademik sekolah, maka semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa; (2) motivasi belajar juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan motivasi tinggi memiliki semangat, ketekunan, dan keinginan lebih besar untuk meraih prestasi; dan (3) secara simultan, lingkungan sekolah dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Swasta Bina Guna Tanah Jawa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif serta motivasi belajar yang tinggi merupakan dua faktor penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, pihak sekolah diharapkan dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang nyaman dan mendukung, sementara guru diharapkan mampu membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui metode pengajaran yang menarik dan interaktif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan internet sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi kelas XII di SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 102 siswa kelas XII IPS, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dan diperoleh 50 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi hasil belajar siswa. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item pernyataan dinyatakan valid dengan nilai r hitung > r tabel (0,361). Uji reliabilitas memperoleh nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,878, yang berarti instrumen reliabel. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi 0,200 > 0,05. Uji regresi linier sederhana menghasilkan persamaan Y = 66,196 + 0,876X, dengan nilai t hitung = 6,381 > t tabel 1,675 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan internet sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R² = 0,458) menunjukkan bahwa 45,85% variasi hasil belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh pemanfaatan internet sebagai sumber belajar, sedangkan 54,17% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Dengan demikian, semakin efektif siswa memanfaatkan internet dalam proses pembelajaran, maka semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar yang diperoleh pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Pemanfaatan internet terbukti menjadi sumber belajar yang efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di era digital.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning achievement of students in social studies subjects. This research aims to determine the influence of peers and the learning environment on the learning achievement of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. The variables in this research are peers and the learning environment as independent variables and learning achievement as the dependent variable.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, with the population being all students in grades VIII-4 to VIII-8 at SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar with a total of 160 students and the research sample taken was 115 students selected through random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and questionnaires, while the data analysis techniques used were validity test, reliability test, normality test, normal distribution test, multiple linear regression test, t test, f test and coefficient of determination test.From the results of data analysis using the Excel application, it is known that there is a significant influence between peers on the learning achievement of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar, with the tcount result being 5.3504>ttable 1.658, then, there is a significant influence between the learning environment on learning achievement, This is proven by the value of tcount of 5.7081>ttable 1.658, and it is concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, this means that peer variables and the learning environment have an influence on the learning achievement of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. Then there is a simultaneous or joint influence between peers and the learning environment on learning achievement, this can be seen from the Fcount value of 45.816 > Ftable 3.077. The R Square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.449, which means that 44.9% of peer variables and the learning environment influence student achievement at SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar.
