Abstract

The article discusses a systematic review related to Human Capital and the field of Education. The structure of this systematic review involves formulating research questions, conducting a systematic literature search, screening and selecting relevant articles, performing analysis and synthesis of findings, applying quality control measures, and drawing final conclusions. The changes brought about by globalization, advancements in information, technological developments, and intense competition have led companies and educational institutions to modify their strategies. There has been a paradigm shift regarding the fundamental assets of an organization in recent decades. Human Capital plays a central role in the success of both profit and non-profit organizations. By utilizing existing literature reviews, it becomes possible to address two main issues: analyzing the relationship between human capital and the field of education, particularly in higher education, and exploring human capital management.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to know the English teaching materials taught in Guidance and Counselling at this time, (2) to know the skills needed by students in the Guidance and Counselling department in communication using English, (3) to know the English materials needed students to face the world of work, (4) the effectiveness of English language learning materials developed for improving students' English skills. The type of data obtained in the preliminary study is qualitative data and the results of the needs analysis of students' profile. This data is obtained by using interview and questionnaires. The type of data that results in the development of the model is qualitative data, which is the result of the validation of a team of experts; The results of individual test, and small group tests. The effectiveness test data is quantitative data. The results of this study are: (1) Descriptions of the needs of English language teaching materials, (2) Skills needed by students in communication using English, (3) English language teaching materials and (4) Effectiveness test results with T-Tests indicating that teaching materials English based on English for Specific Purposess developed in this field of research, effective; and the feasibility test of teaching materials shows the test results of 82, the results of the language feasibility test 87, the results of the feasibility test presentation 78, and the results of the feasibility test of decorative elements 75. It can be concluded that this ESP-based English teaching material is suitable for use in teaching materials that can improve students' ability to use English in academic and working activities.Keywords: ESP, Guidance and Counselling, Material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji apakah budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan melayani berpengaruh signfikan terhadap kinerja dosen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi berganda. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket google form online yang diisi oleh dosen secara sukarela yang terdiri beberapa strata pendidikan, masa kerja dan jabatan fungsional. Dengan jumlah sampel 32 orang yang dengan teknik stratified purposive sampling. Kemudian, data diolah secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk melihat kecenderungan hasil setiap variabel. Selanjutnya, hasil data diolah menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan aplikasi SPPS 22. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dosen di IAKN Tarutung masuk ke dalam kategori kinerja yang tinggi. Akan tetapi, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan kepemimpinan melayani tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil kinerja dosen yang tinggi tersebut. Artinya, budaya organisasi dan kepemimpinan melayani yang ada di IAKN Tarutung tidak serta merta menunjang kinerja dosen. Oleh karena itu, perlu penelitian lebih lanjut terkait variabel lain yang lebih signifikan untuk menunjang kinerja dosen. The Influence of organizational culture, servant leadership on the performance of lecturers at Tarutung State Institute of Christianity This study aims to test whether organizational culture and service leadership have a significant effect on lecturer performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis. Data was obtained by distributing online Google form questionnaires filled out by voluntary lecturers consisting of several educational strata, tenure, and functional positions. With a total sample of 32 people using a stratified purposive sampling technique. Then, the data is processed descriptively quantitatively to see the tendency of the results of each variable. Furthermore, the data results were processed using multiple regression analysis with the SPPS 22 application. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the performance of lecturers at IAKN Tarutung falls into the high-performance category. However, the results of this study indicate that organizational culture and servant leadership do not have a significant influence on the results of the high performance of lecturers. This means that the organizational culture and servant leadership that exist in IAKN Tarutung do not necessarily support the performance of lecturers. Therefore, further research is needed related to other variables that are more significant to support lecturer performance.

Abstract

Co-Citation Analysis of Pedagogical Leadership Research: A Systematic Literature Review (1998-2023). Objectives: This study aims to (1) analyze the development of pedagogical leadership research using bibliographical and co-citation analysis and (2) formulate future research directions related to pedagogical leadership. Methods: This study uses bibliometric and co-citation analysis techniques to understand phenomena based on published research. We collected articles from the Scopus repository as it is a significant and credible academic article database. This study collected 126 articles published in English-language journals from 1998 to 2023. Findings: The results show the demographics of the articles collected, publication productivity based on country, and five clusters, which discuss in detail the research development and the direction of future research issues related to pedagogical leadership. Conclusion: Implicatively, this literature review offers several future research agendas related to pedagogical leadership, which are described in the discussion section. This research agenda can be followed up by scholars and education stakeholders who have the potential to improve the quality of learning and teacher professionalism. Keywords: instructional leadership, pedagogic, bibliometric.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i2.202464

Abstract

Ajaran yang diterapkan oleh organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) sangat mempengaruhi cara pandang dan perilaku anggotanya, termasuk dalam hal motivasi belajar mahasiswa. NU, sebagai salah satu organisasi keagamaan terbesar di Indonesia, memiliki sejumlah nilai ajaran yang dapat membentuk karakter dan motivasi anggotanya dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana ajaran NU dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa, serta untuk mengetahui mekanisme pengaruh tersebut. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode survei, penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara ajaran NU dan motivasi belajar di kalangan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam organisasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari ajaran NU terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa, khususnya dalam hal disiplin, etika kerja, dan semangat untuk terus menuntut ilmu

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan terhadap kompetensi profesional kepala sekolah. Metode penelitian survei dengan sampel pengawas sekolah Deli Serdang, berjumlah 50 orang. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun 2025. Data mengenai pengaruh pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan terhadap kompetensi profesional kepala sekolah diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disusun oleh peneliti. Adapun hipotesis penelitian pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional kepala sekolah. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai prob. Fhitung (sig.) < 0,05 yang berarti variabel pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan (X) secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap variabel kompetensi profesional kepala sekolah (Y). Nilai koefisien korelasi ganda (R) 0,564 berarti variabel pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan (X) dan kompetensi profesional kepala sekolah (Y) memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat. Selanjutnya, nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) 0,318 menunjukkan bahwa variabel pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan (X) berpengaruh sebesar 31,8% terhadap kompetensi profesional kepala sekolah (Y), sedangkan 68,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Simpulannya adalah supervise pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan mempengaruhi kompetensi profesional kepala sekolah secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of transformational leadership style, work mo- tivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the performance of elementary school teachers in Selayang District, Pemalang Regency. This is a quan- titative study using a cross sectional approach and an explanatory survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for val- idity and is proven valid and stable. The results of the analysis prerequisite test in- cluding normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity show that the requirements have been fulfilled. The result of the F test count is 120.311 with a significance value of 0.0000.05, meaning that there is a significant and positive ef- fect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance. Partial test shows that the significance value of transforma- tional leadership style is 0.001, work motivation is 0.000, and job satisfaction is 0.0000.05, meaning that transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, re- spectively. It shows that all hypotheses in this study are acceptable, which means that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the teachers’ performance.
