Abstract

There are currently efforts to resolve cases of child sexual abuse in Indonesia by manage legally laws that provides penalties for those who engage in child sexual abuse cases. However it is still less attention in the education field, educational institutions have not been able to play an active role and become a shield to prevent child sexual abuse. In other words, it should be emphasized that prevention efforts have to be comprehensive, which is mean that not only done by one party (parents or relatives) only, but must be integrated with the government, community organizations, schools, professionals, who does have a concentration on growth and child development. In Indonesia, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) admits received many complaints of violence and sexual abuse of children, based on KPAI data that has been collected in the period January to March 2014. During those three months, there were 379 cases reported to the KPAI, one of which is sexual violence that afflicts kindergarten students at the Jakarta International School (JIS). Based on the data described above is carried out preventive measures to prevent the occurrence of child sexual abuse in the form of education and research. The research conducted by the author with the title " The effectiveness of touch / don’t touch technique to improving the understanding of sexual abuse prevention for primary school students in SDN No 060885 Medan ". This research is quasi-experimental research, using scale to collected the sexual abuse prevention understanding among elementry student. The research showed that the average value of the pre-test = 58.41 with a highest score of 77 and the lowest value of 49 and a standard deviation of 8.7, while for the data obtained posttest average value of post test = 75.30 with a highest score 89 and the lowest value of 61 and a standard deviation of 6.3. Based on the above data it can be concluded there was an increased understanding of the elementary school students grade 3 Elementary School SDN No. 060 885 of the hazards and sexual abuse. This means that by using the techniques touch / dont touch can enhance students' understanding and the prevention of sexual harassment preventive efforts

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian layanan konseling kelompok pendekatan behavioral teknik self monitoring guna meminimalisir kecenderungan menarik diri siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP Swasta Islam Azizi Medan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi experimenal dengan desain Pre test – post tes one group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 (enam) orang siswa kelas VIII-2 yang tingkat kecenderungan menarik diri dalam kategori tinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah sosiometri dan kuesioner kecenderungan menarik diri. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok pendekatan behavioral teknik self monitoring dapat meminimalisir kecenderungan menarik diri siswa (Z = -3,73, p = 0,031). Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. This study aims to determine the effect of providing group counseling services with the behavioral approach to self-monitoring techniques to minimize the tendency to withdraw from class VIII-2 students of Azizi Islamic Private Middle School in Medan for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is Quasi-experimental with a Pre-test - post-test one-group design. The subjects in this study were 6 (six) students of class VIII-2 whose level of a tendency to withdraw in the high category. The instruments used were sociometry and a withdrawal tendency questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test showing that group counseling services with the behavioral approach of self-monitoring techniques can minimize the tendency to withdraw students (Z = -3,73, p = 0,031). This study has implications for guidance and counseling services in schools.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi pemberitaan mengenai pandemi virus corona belum kunjung mereda terutama Indonesia. Virus ini bukan lagi hanya menyerang kesehatan fisik, namun juga kesehatan mental. Tidak hanya rasa takut yang berlebihan, efek psikologis yang ditimbulkan pun bisa berdampak serius. Pandemi COVID-19 akan berdampak dari berbagai sektor kehidupan seperti ekonomi, sosial, termasuk juga pendidikan. Dampak yang paling dirasakan adalah guru dan peserta didik di instansi penyelenggara pelayanan pendidikan, seperti sekolah disemua tingkatan, lembaga pendidikan non formal hingga perguruan tinggi. Pemerintah pusat dan daerah meliburkan sekolah untuk mengantisipasi penyebaran Covid-19. Sebagia solusinya, pembelajaran di sekolah diganti dengan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring), atau akrab disebut online. Permasalahan yang dihadapi Guru mengalami perasaan tertekan, stress kerja, dan kecemasan karena tuntutan mengajar online, Tingkat Kekwatiran dan kewalahan menghadapi masa pandemi, dan siswa mengalami Declining Social Relationship (DCR) atau hubungan sosial yang meluruh di kalangan siswa. Solusi yang diawarkan Pelatihan kepada guru berupa sosialisasi strategi koping adaptif untuk menurunkan dampak psikologi Virus Covid-19. Objek pelaksanaan PKM Guru Kelas berjumlah 75 orang  di SD Plus Jabal Rahmah Mulia. Waktu pelaksanaan dimulai mulai dari Mei-Desember 2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dengan melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan kepada guru berupa sosialisasi strategi koping adaptif  adanya penurunan perasaan tertekan, stress kerja, dan kecemasan, tingkat Kekwatiran dan kewalahan menghadapi masa pandemi, dan siswa kembali membangun hubungan sosial dengan guru dan siswa serta merasakan kembali belajar di lingkungan sekolah. Luaran wajib program PKM: satu artikel ilmiah dipublikasikan melalui jurnal ber-ISSN atau proceding Seminar Nasional. Luaran Tambahan: Publikasi pada media cetak/online dan Jasa Pelatihan.  Kata kunci: Pelatihan, Koping Adaptif, Psikologi, Virus, Covid-19

Abstract

Abstract: The existence of a standardized appearance or ideal body, both for men and for women, often triggers body shaming for people who do not comply with these standards. This study aims to investigate the effect of body shaming on students' self-esteem This research uses a quantitative method using survey questionnare. Population of this study were 242 students of SMPN 2 Datuk Lima Puluh, with 60 sample of students. The instruments given were a questionnaire of body shaming and self-esteem. Then the data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the calculations in data analysis indicates that each addition of one unit of body shaming score will be followed by a reduction in the score of the level of self-esteem. Furthermore, the results of the correlation coefficient showed that there is an effect of Body Shaming on Self-Esteem of Junior High School.Abstrak: Adanya standarisasi penampilan tubuh yang ideal, baik bagi laki-laki maupun perempuan seringkali memicu terjadinya body shaming pada orang-orang yang tidak sesuai dengan standarisasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menguji Pengaruh Body Shaming terhadap Self-Esteem Siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 242 siswa SMPN 2 Datuk Lima Puluh dengan sampel 60 siswa. Instrumen yang diberikan adalah angket body shaming dan self-esteem. Hasil analisas data s menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. menunjukkan bahwa setiap penambahan satu satuan skor body shaming akan diikuti oleh pengurangan skor tingkat self-esteem. Selanjutnya hasil koefisien korelasi menunjukkan data bahwa rhitung>rtabel (0,455>0,254). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh Body Shaming terhadap Self-Esteem Siswa SMP Negeri 2 Datuk Lima Puluh Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the form of developing assessment instruments for 6 subject assignments in KKNI at FIP Unimed. This study uses a development method with the ADDIE model namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The development of this assessment instrument begins with analyzing the needs of lecturers and students. Then do a literature study to gather material related to the 6 course assignments. After that the stage of making instrument assessment of 6 course assignments. This assessment instrument was also tested to all lecturers of the Faculty of Education Unimed to give a value of this assessment instrument of 72.85 with an average of 3.60 in the feasible category.Keywords: Instruments, Development, EvaluationABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk pengembangan instrumen penilaian 6 tugas mata kuliah dalam KKNI di FIP Unimed. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreativitas pada 88 mahasiswa. Teori kemampuan berpikir kritis dari Facione (1995), kreativitas dari Guilford (1967) serta metode pembelajaran dari Silberman (2006) digunakan sebagai acuan dalam penelitian ini. Metode pembelajaran dibagi atas metode pembelajaran konvensional dan metode pembelajaran aktif yang terdiri dari teknik pause procedure,short writes dan think pair share (Weltman, 2007). Data diperoleh dengan mengunakan Skala Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Alat Ukur Kreativitas Verbal oleh Munandar (1999).  Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan analisis varians campuran. Hasil penelitian menujukkan metode pembelajaran aktif dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Abstract

The objectives of this study is the availability of standardized mini research assignment manuals for the student development subject as University courses that must be taken by all students in the first semester in all the Faculty in Medan State University. This research is a development research following the Borg and Gall models. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that previously analyze by material and media experts. The trial questionnaire was given to 50 students of first semester of Mathematics Department and operational trials were given to 150 students who came from various majors such as the Department of Physics, Chemical Economics, Geography, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering with random sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis. The outputs of this research is the mini research task handbook for student development subjects for first semester students of Medan State University.Keywords: Mini Research, Guiding Book, Technology and Science.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) Develop Module as learning media on academic guidance and counseling practice subject in Guidance and Counseling Department, Faculty of Education, Medan State University (2) Test the feasibility of module as learning media on academic guidance and counseling practice subject with content experts, media experts and respondent. This research is a research and development followed the 4-D Models method, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Disseminate. The data collection method involved two content experts and two learning media experts. Product quality testing was conducted on 20 students academic year 2018 of Guidance and Counseling Department, Faculty of Education, Medan State University. Data analysis techniques for the feasibility of learning media using qualitative descriptive analysis.Keywords: Module, Academic Guidance and Counseling Practice
