Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Kerinjing Kecamatan Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Ogan Ilir yang membahas tentang investasi. Investasi merupakan salah satu cara terbaik untuk melipat gandakan tabungan kita. Untuk berinvestasi banyak cara dan macam-macam investasi yang diinginkan. Masyarakat sekarang ini banyak menginginkan investasi yang cepat dan menguntungkan dengan resiko yang minimal. Hal ini lah yang dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian orang dan biasanya berakhir dengan kerugian karena investasi yang ditawarkan merupakan investasi fiktif atau investasi bodong. Kita harus lebih cermat dan teliti dalam memilih investasi, mengingat bahwa banyak sekali penipuan investasi bodong maupun dengan motif arisan berantai dengan bantuan teknologi.

Abstract

The current phenomenon of understanding of organization and leadership in mosque youth organizations is still relatively lacking and doesn't really understand how to manage an organization effectively and efficiently so that organizational goals haven't been achieved optimally. This dedication aims to provide motivation to the management of youth mosques in Kerinjing Village to be more optimal and effective in organizational management. The dedication was carried out by means of lectures, training, and simulations to the mosque youth administrators in Kerinjing Village. The material provided is in the form of materials related to issues of leadership, conflict management, organizational management, and trial techniques. Through this dedication activity, it is hoped that it can provide skills for the administrators of youth mosques in Kerinjing village in managing organizations, forming management structures, and generating leadership talents. The expected output from this dedication activity is in the form of a final report and an article in a dedication journal. The results of this dedication are also expected to be the basis for the government in making policies and programs related to youth issues in rural areas.

Abstract

Zakat, Infaq and Shadaqah (ZIS) are very important pillars in Islam to improve the welfare of the community, especially in rural areas. The correct management of ZIS funds needs to be understood to the village, so that it is not only depleted in consumptive activities, but can be applied in productive activities to improve the economy. The existence of mosques in the village as ZIS fund managers is very important in its distribution appropriately and usefully, so it is necessary to provide training related to the productive management of ZIS to the administrators and youth of mosques in Kerinjing Village. The goal is so that the people in Kerinjing Village can optimize the potential of ZIS collected. This training method uses discussion and counseling to the participants, so as to create a productive training atmosphere and create improved welfare for the community.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan Ibu-ibu PKK dalam mengolah limbah kain (perca), pelatihan pembuatan produk dari limbah kain (perca) dan   pelatihan penjualan menggunakan e-commerce di kelurahan tersebut, membantu dalam mengurangi sampah non organik dan dapat menghasilkan produk yang unik dan yang berharga serta bernilai jual dapat membantu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat sekitarnya. Di kecamatan Tanjung Raja khususnya di desa Kerinjing kelompok ibu-ibu yang belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan untuk pemanfaatan pengolahan limbah dari sampah non-organik khususnya sampah kain (perca), hal ini membuat tim dosen mendapatkan  ide  untuk  membuat  suatu  kegiatan  yang  bermanfaat  dari  limbah  tersebut  dan  dapat memasarkan dengan menggunakan internet. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pengabdian dan penyuluhan menggunakan praktik dan mengajarkan langsung pada masyarakat di desa Kerinjing. Setelah kegiatan dilakukan masyarakat mampu mencoba membuatnya sendiri dan juga para pengrajin kain bisa memanfaatkan sisa kain untuk dijadikan barang yang bisa dijualkan kembali sehingga menjadi tambahan pendapatan masyarakat di desa Kerinjing.

Abstract

This service program aims to provide skills in the form of providing hand care training through making mask connectors and how to market them so that they can increase the income of the people of Kerinjing Village. In addition, the product of this training is also expected to be a superior product in rural areas in Kerinjing Village. The method used in this program is carried out through several stages, including the stage of building commitment, the stage of community organizing, the stage of needs assessment, and the stage of planning activities and implementing activities. The results of this activity include hand washing products through the manufacture of mask connectors that have a selling value so that they can increase the household income of the women's group in Kerinjing Village, Tanjung Raja District. Furthermore, this product is also expected to be one of the superior products of this village. In addition, the results of this activity are in the form of marketing assistance through social media through Facebook and Instagram.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, information dissemination occurs rapidly through various mass media intermediaries. This presents new challenges, particularly for individuals residing in rural areas who may lack the necessary understanding to harness today's technological advances. One pressing issue is the widespread circulation of hoax news, primarily through social media platforms. This service initiative aims to enhance awareness and knowledge regarding hoax news in Sakatiga Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The implementation strategy revolves around a comprehensive socialization approach designed to raise public awareness, enhance comprehension, and empower residents with the skills to differentiate between hoax and genuine news. Additionally, it provides insights into relevant laws and outlines the necessary steps to take in the event of encountering hoax news

Abstract

The majority of Indonesia’s plural population relies on agriculture as their main source of income. In Indonesia, the agricultural industry plays a key role in food security and economic expansion. Improving the welfare of farmers is crucial to achieve food sovereignty, domestic agriculture, and food production. This research aims to determine the effect of the food security budget, fertilizer subsidy budget and inflation on the level of farmer welfare through farmer terms of trade (NTP) in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data spanning 17 years from 2007 to 2023. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the food security budget and inflation variables do not have an influence on the farmer terms of trade. Meanwhile, the fertilizer subsidy budget variable has a significant influence on the farmer terms of trade. This means that any growth in the fertilizer subsidy budget will lead to an increase in the farmer terms of trade, indicating that the welfare of farmers is increasing.

Abstract

This study highlights the urgent need to empower the youth generation to actively engage in the international community in addressing sustainability challenges. Issues such as climate change, social inequality, and food security require innovative solutions driven by young people. This community service initiative was designed to enhance youth participation through education, collaboration, and digital engagement. The program was conducted virtually via Zoom and involved participants from Sriwijaya University, Indonesia; Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakhstan; and ENS Lyon, France. The primary objective of this initiative was to equip youth with essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for contributing to sustainable development. The methodology employed included online workshops, interactive discussions, and collaborative projects focusing on sustainability practices. During the implementation phase, participants engaged in knowledge-sharing sessions, case study analyses, and social media campaigns to promote awareness and collective action. The results indicated that youth empowerment through targeted training and cross-border collaboration significantly enhances their capacity to address global issues effectively. The program demonstrated the role of digital technology and international networking in fostering sustainable practices among young individuals. Future initiatives should expand to include more diverse participants and incorporate hands-on community projects to further strengthen youth contributions to global sustainability efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze the literature related to regional inequality in six provinces in Java. The study focused on the use of five inequality indicators: Gini Coefficient, Atkinson Index, Theil Index, Robin Hood Index, and Williamson Index. This study also explores the relationship between inequality and development factors such as Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP), Per Capita Income (GDP), and Human Development Index (HDI). Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach which refers to the PRISMA protocol, as many as 25 articles from 2010–2024 were analyzed thematically. The findings show that increasing HDI significantly reduces inequality, while increasing PDRPC without fair distribution actually widens the gap. This article contributes to formulating regional development policy recommendations based on spatial justice and quality of life. Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dan strategis dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan setiap daerah bertanggung jawab untuk memajukan pembangunan dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada. Ini berlaku baik di negara maju maupun di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Terlepas dari fakta bahwa banyak UMKM di Desa Sungsang II, mereka masih membutuhkan program pembinaan yang lebih komprehensif untuk membantu mereka menjadi lebih produktif. Jika dikelola dengan benar, cumi-cumi memiliki potensi ekonomi yang menjanjikan karena memasok sumber gizi dan keamanan hidup manusia di negara berkembang. Di Desa Sungsang IV, produk cumi asin kering masih belum dikembangkan. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang ekonomi, terutama tentang meningkatkan kemampuan ibu-ibu dan pelaku UMKM dalam mengolah cumi-cumi. Kegiatan ini juga akan memberikan wawasan tentang pengembangan dan peningkatan pendapatan bagi ibu-ibu dan pemilik UMKM. Hasil dari pengabdian ini dalam pengolahan cumi asin menjadi sambel cumi asin telah meningkatkan pemahaman ibu-ibu istri nelayan dan pelaku UMKM tentang potensi cumi-cumi sebagai sumber pendapatan tambahan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini termasuk pendidikan masyarakat, konsultasi, difusi iptek, pelatihan mediasi, simulasi iptek, dan subsitusi iptek. Menurut hasil evaluasi setelah kegiatan pengabdian ini, menunjukkan respon positif terhadap pelatihan dan pemahaman yang komprehensif terhadap materi yang disampaikan narasumber.
