Abstract

Wasir atau hemoroid merupakan kondisi anorektal yang umum terjadi di seluruh dunia, memengaruhi jutaan orang dari berbagai kelompok usia dan latar belakang. Wasir dapat secara signifikan memengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien. Namun, tinjauan komprehensif yang membandingkan semua modalitas pengobatan yang tersedia masih terbatas. Tinjauan literatur sistematis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan efektivitas berbagai pilihan pengobatan untuk wasir. Dengan mengikuti pedoman PRISMA, pencarian literatur dilakukan di basis data ScienceDirect dan Scopus untuk studi yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 dan 2025. Kriteria inkulsi yang digunakan adalah artikel dengan publikasi dalam rentang tahun 2020 hingga 2025, menggunakan Bahasa inggris, dapat diakses seluruh teks, dan tipe artikelnya yaitu RCT, studi komparatif, observasional dan retrospektif dengan pembanding. Delapan artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi ini dipilih untuk analisis lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan bukti efektivitas komparatif dan keamanan modalitas pengobatan yang berbeda berdasarkan tingkat keparahan wasir dan faktor spesifik pasien. Wasir derajat I-II, penatalaksanaan konservatif dengan flavonoid, salep pippalyadi dan obat venoaktif muncul sebagai pilihan lini pertama. Wasir derajat II-III mendapat manfaat dari prosedur invasif minimal seperti rubber band ligation atau aplikasi BANANA-Clip. Untuk wasir derajat III-IV, intervensi bedah seperti hemoroidektomi menunjukkan kemanjuran yang unggul. Glyceryl trinitrate terbukti lebih aman dan efektif daripada trombektomi untuk wasir trombosis. Penelitian ini mengonfirmasi hierarki efektivitas pengobatan wasir berdasarkan tingkat keparahan dan menyoroti pentingnya pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan bukti dalam praktik klinis.

Abstract

Mental disorders are among the health problems that affect all aspects of an individual's life. The rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders does not rely solely on professional services in healthcare facilities, but is also greatly influenced by family involvement. The family plays a crucial role in supporting the healing process, preventing relapse, and optimizing the patient's quality of life. Unfortunately, many families still lack an understanding of their strategic role in this process. This community service activity aims to improve families' knowledge and skills in supporting the rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders. The methods used include education, discussion, simulation, and direct family mentoring. The results showed an increase in family understanding of patient care, active involvement in behavior monitoring, and improved emotional management. Family-based interventions have proven to be an effective approach in the sustainable rehabilitation process of patients with mental disorders.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Pelayanan kegawatdaruratan pra-Rumah Sakit bertumpu pada kualitas penolong pertama sebagai orang yang merekognisi dan melakukan intervensi pada korban pertama kali. Masyarakat secara umum berpotensi menjadi penolong pertama dimanapun jika terjadi kasus kegawatdaruratan. olehkarena itu masyarakat secara umum perlu memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam pertolongan kegawatdarurata. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam penanganan kegawatdaruratan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan Social cognitive preparation model, sedangkan pemberian materinya dilakukan dengan metode demonstrasi, diskusi, dan simulasi terhadap 30 peserta. Hasil menunjukan bahwa peserta memiliki keesadaran diri yang tinggi ditunjukan dengan nilai rata-rata nilai refleksi diri mencapai 78,07 kemudian pasca pelatihan menunjukan kualitas resusitasi jantung paru yang tinggi dinilai dengan indicator, Kedalaman CPR, Kecepatan CPR dan Full Chest Recoil, dengan rentang 82,75 %- 93.10% dari keseluruhan peserta. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pelatihan terhadap individu yang memiliki kesadaran akan kebutuhan kemampuan apa yang ingin dipelajari jauh memberikan dampak. Kata Kunci: Cardiopulmonal Resuscitation, Social Cognitive Model, Relawan, Kegawatdaruratan, Pelatihan Masyarakat.  ABSTRACT Pre-hospital emergency services rely on the quality of first responders, who recognize and intervene firsthand with victims. The general public has the potential to be first responders anywhere in the event of an emergency. Therefore, the general public needs to have strong emergency response skills. The goal of this activity was to improve the community's ability to handle emergencies. The method used in this activity was the Social Cognitive Preparation Model approach, while material was delivered through demonstrations, discussions, and simulations with 30 participants. Results showed that participants had high self-awareness, as evidenced by an average self-reflection score of 78.07. Post-training demonstrated high levels of cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality, as assessed by indicators such as CPR Depth, CPR Rate, and Full Chest Recoil, with a range of 82.75% to 93.10% of all participants. From these results, it can be concluded that providing training to individuals who are aware of the skills they need to learn has a significant impact. Keywords: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Social Cognitive Model, Volunteers, Emergency, Community Training.

Abstract

Body weight is a crucial aspect in martial arts sports, as it is directly related to determining the competition class that an athlete will participate in. To achieve their ideal target weight required for their respective classes, each athlete has their own perception of the body weight status they desire. This perception is often closely linked to their body image or view of their current physical form. This research was conducted with the aim of comprehensively describing nutritional perceptions, body image profiles, and the relationship between nutritional perceptions and body image among martial arts athletes at the West Java Student Sports Education and Training Center (PPLP). This research involved 45 martial arts athletes from the West Java PPLP institution, comprising 25 males and 20 females. The research design used was a cross-sectional survey with total sampling technique. Nutritional perception and body image assessments were conducted using the Nutritional Perception Screening Questionnaire (NPSQ9) and Figure Rating Scale (FRS) instruments. The findings showed that on average, the athletes' nutritional perceptions were in the good category. However, the obtained body image profile yielded negative results, meaning that their current body shape did not match the desired body shape of the athletes. The bivariate correlation analysis revealed no significant relationship between nutritional perceptions and body image among martial arts athletes at the West Java PPLP, with a significance value of 0.164 (p>0.05). Although the body image profiles of males were negative and females positive, there was no difference in perception between them. This was because the athletes were more focused on meeting the requirements for their competition class rather than attaining their desired body image.

Abstract

The sedentary lifestyle phenomenon among young adults, particularly university students, shows a notably high duration, averaging 8–12 hours per day. This condition is associated with a decline in cognitive function. One potential intervention to address this issue is stationary cycling, as this activity can increase levels of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), which plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing cognitive performance. This study aimed to examine the effects of stationary cycling exercise on cognitive function among sedentary young adults. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group approach. A total of 40 students from the Indonesia University of Education were selected using Federer’s formula and purposive sampling technique. The participants were divided into two groups: an intervention group (n=20) and a control group (n=20). The intervention group performed moderate-intensity stationary cycling (60–80 RPM) for 30 minutes, three times a week for four weeks. Meanwhile, the control group received no intervention to observe natural changes without external influence. The results revealed an improvement in cognitive function within the intervention group, indicated by decreased average completion times on TMT A (27.45→21.15) and TMT B (46.00→36.20), as well as an increased WLMT score (23.65→27.50). In contrast, the control group showed no significant changes. Statistical analysis indicated significant differences between groups in TMT A (p=0.002), TMT B (p=0.007), and WLMT (p<0.001). Therefore, stationary cycling exercise proved effective in enhancing cognitive function and can serve as a preventive strategy to support students’ brain health.

Abstract

Physical activity plays a major role in enhancing children’s physical and cognitive development. Jogging, as a simple form of aerobic exercise, is believed to improve concentration, attention, and executive function, which greatly influence the learning abilities of elementary school students. This study aimed to determine the effect of jogging on cognitive function among elementary school students. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. A total of 68 students from SDN Sukasirna 03, Bogor Regency, participated as subjects and underwent a jogging intervention three times per week for four weeks, with each session lasting 30 minutes. Cognitive function was measured using the Grid Concentration Exercise Test (GCET) and the Stroop Color and Word Test (SCWT). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed a significant improvement in cognitive function after the jogging intervention (GCET: Z = –7.162, p < 0.001; SCWT: Z = –4.067, p < 0.001). These findings indicate that jogging effectively enhances concentration, attention, and executive function in elementary school students. Physiologically, aerobic exercise such as jogging improves cerebral blood circulation and stimulates the release of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which supports synaptic plasticity, working memory, and cognitive flexibility. Therefore, regular jogging is recommended as a simple and effective strategy to support children’s cognitive development and academic performance.
