Abstract

Dalam industri pariwisata, letak geografis sebuah daerah menjadi hal yang penting dalam mengelola destinasi wisatanya. Sumenep, secara geografis terletak di ujung timur Pulau Madura dan belum memiliki banyak pilihan moda transportasi seperti kota besar lainnya. Akan tetapi, faktanya hal tersebut tidak menjadi masalah, mengingat jumlah wisatawan yang meningkat setiap tahunnya. Melihat fenomena tersebut, peneliti tertarik untuk mengkaji bagaimana manajemen kesan Dinas Pariwisata, Kebudayaan, Pemuda dan Olahraga Sumenep dalam membangun citra destinasi wisata di kota tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Adapun uji keabsahan data dilakukan menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kesan untuk membangun citra destinasi wisata di Sumenep, dilakukan Dinas Pariwisata, Kebudayaan, Pemuda dan Olahraga dengan menggunakan strategi ingratiation, self-promotion dan exemplification. Adapun strategi supplication dan intimidation tidak dilakukan. Hal tersebut tampak dari berbagai kegiatan untuk mengenalkan destinasi wisata yang ada di Sumenep, khususnya dalam Program Visit Sumenep, yang banyak berisi pagelaran, festival dan promosi destinasi wisata alam maupun budaya.

Abstract

Indonesia dikenal oleh masyarakat luas sebagai negara yang mempunyai bermacam-macam suku dan budaya, salah satunya adalah budaya musik saronen dari Sumenep Madura. Akan tetapi di era globalisasi informasi saat ini banyak budaya-budaya dari luar terutama negara barat masuk ke dalam Negara Indonesia. Hal tersebut menyebabkan mulai kurangnya generasi muda dalam memperhatikan dan bahkan meninggalkan budaya lokal untuk memilih budaya luar yang menurut mereka lebih modern. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti tertarik untuk menelaah proses komunikasi dalam melestarikan budaya saronen kepada generasi muda di Sumenep. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian adalah pelestarian budaya saronen kepada generasi muda tidak hanya dilakukan oleh Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan setempat saja akan tetapi juga melibatkan pelaku-pelaku budaya saronen yang ada di Sumenep. Sedangkan Proses komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan dalam melestarikan budaya saronen menerapkan tingkatan komunikasi interpersonal dan publik dan untuk proses komunikasinya itu sendiri menerapkan komunikasi satu arah, komunikasi interaksi dan komunikasi transaksional

Abstract

Learning achievement is the maximum benchmark that has been achieved after thestudents do learning activities for a predetermined time. Motivation to learn is apsychological condition that encourages a person to do learning activities. From thesemotivations will encourage a student to continue learning in order to achieve theexpected goal of achievement in learning. Learning achievement is also determinedby the discipline in learning. Which means the ability to self-direct students bothmental and physical that takes place in the active interaction for learning activities inaccordance with the rules made by the school and the students themselves.

Abstract

Publication becomes a very important thing in introducing or promoting thepotential of an area of any kind, be it the potential of human resources and thepotential of natural resources. In the era of Internet technology that has notprogressed as it is today, the first publication into an expensive thing to do, becausein publishing an information can only through newspapers and television, but withadvances in information technology, especially the internet makes anyone can publishany information very Easy and with very low cost too, especially with the developmentof social media. Social media is defined as an online medium where its users can easilyparticipate. Participate in the sense that someone will easily share information, createcontent or content to be conveyed to others, comment on inputs received and so on.All can be done quickly and unlimited (Utari: 2011). In the development of social media today almost all of the majority alreadyhave accounts in social media, but in reality majority social media users are still notaware to utilize social media for positive things. It is certainly less useful in the use ofsocial media. Yet when viewed more deeply about the use of social media, manyentrepreneurs who really use social media as a suggestion of their business promotion,whether it is business in the field of culinary, fashion, IT to tourism.

Abstract

Sumenep with its cultural diversity has the potential to become a destination visited by many tourists. This is the duty of the Sumenep regional government to be able to better introduce and build an image as a tourist destination in Indonesia. So that researcher are interested in examining how the Sumenep Tourism and Culture departement build the image Sumenep of a tourist destination. The theory used in this research is management impression theory, Laswell and Aristoteles Communication Model. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with a type of descriptive research and using a case study method. Research informant is head of promotion in the tourism and cultural departement of Sumenep. The data collection technique in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. The result of the research on the process of building the image of the efforts made by showing and displaying the Sumenep cultures, for example kerapan sapi, sapi sonok, tong-tong music, saronen music to presented to the public. So the impression public would perceive as expected. Selection of the festival as a communication channel for the delivery of a message is deemed appropriate to the interests of public. For self presentation strategy is a strategy of self-promotion

Abstract

Purpose: Wonomerto Village is a durian and milk-producing village; besides, the majority of the people work as rice farmers. Durian and milk are a side business that is used as additional income during the waiting period for harvest. The price is quite low than the price of durian or milk in cities. This is a problem for the government who wants to raise the village's natural products as a potential business to support the tourism program of the City of Jombang. Method: A 4-stage work program was compiled to solve the problems of Wonomerto Village partners, namely socialization, implementation, evaluation and reporting. The implementation of partnerships in the field of entrepreneurship in the form of processing milk production, durian, as well as online packaging and marketing techniques by utilizing a mini studio made from affordable materials to penetrate the online market. Results: The results of this training program are that the community is able to make various processed products with added value, such as milk candy, fresh milk variants, durian pies, and durian milk cakes with attractive packaging to be marketed in various tourist attractions in Jombang. Conclusions: This training has a positive impact in increasing understanding of innovation and technology by 70% as well as interest in innovation for increasing the existence of the creative industry in Wonomerto Village. Abstract

This study examines the existence of lettering artists by utilizing Instagram social media. The authors are interested in examining Nur Awaludin’s image because Nur Awaludin’s track record and works which can be found in several places. In addition, not many people know about lettering artists although they enjoy the work they make. The theory used in this study is the impression management theory from Erving Goffman. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative data collection technique through the results of in-depth interview with informants, observations, and documentation study through social media Instagram. The results showed that Nur Awaludin used Instagram and its features. Nur Awaludin also showed good impressions and was in accordance with the image that was built as a lettering artist by following the Subletter community and by creating a team project called Kid Project.

Abstract

In PLN East Java Distribution, it is known that the role of Public Relations is a major key in solving the problem of a company or organization given that the PLN East Java Distribution is the provider of electricity for corporate, residential, hotel, and others. This study has the objective to analyze the roles of Public Relations of PLN East Java Distribution in handling customer complaints, by using Public Relations model approach namely two-way asymmetric. This study used a qualitative research method with descriptive approaches: case study, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis using Interactive analysis models called Miles and Huberman. The results in this study Public Relations PLN East JavaDistribution bridging communications with customers using multiple media such as printed media, social media, and electronic media in response to customer complaints

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memaksa berbagai macam elemen masyarakat untuk beradaptasi dalam situasi yang tidak biasa. Termasuk salah satunya pada dunia pendidikan khususnya perguruan tinggi. Berbagai aktivitas yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka mendadak semua harus diganti menjadi online atau dikenal juga dengan Daring (Dalam Jaringan). Mulai dari kuliah yang dilakukan secara daring, ujian daring, sidang skripsi sampai dengan wisuda pun dilakukan secara daring. Walaupun kita tahu bahwa tentu masih membutuhkan adaptasi kembali terlepas apakah cara tersebut dapat berjalan dengan lancar atau tidak dalam proses belajar mengajar di perguruan tinggi. Untuk itu peneliti yang juga seorang dosen di perguruan tinggi di Surabaya mencoba menggunakan video podcast sebagai alternatif media komunikasi untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar di perguruan tinggi. Akan tetapi penggunaan video podcast sebagai media komunikasi dalam proses belajar mengajar merupakan hal baru dan belum diketahui penerapannya. Karena memang selama ini podcast khususnya video podcast normalnya digunakan sebagai media hiburan. Untuk itu penelitian ini dianggap perlu untuk melihat proses adaptasi mahasiswa dalam menerima materi melalui media komunikasi video podcast. Atas dasar inilah peneliti berupaya untuk mengkaji bagaimana Difusi Inovasi Video Podcast Sebagai Media E-Learning Di Kalangan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Untag Surabaya?. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Informan mahasiswa ilmu komunikasi di lingkungan Untag Surabaya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari reduksi, display data, mengambil kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan difusi inovasi yang terjadi dosen termasuk ke dalam early adopter atau pengadopsi awal. Early adopter ini biasanya merupakan opinion leader atau pemuka pendapat di sebuah sistem sosial. Dosen mengadopsi inovasi berupa podcast yang dikemas menjadi bentuk edukasi atau e-learning. Mahasiswa Untag yang berkuliah termasuk dalam kategori early majority atau mayoritas awal. Early majority mengadopsi sebuah inovasi sebelum sebagian besar anggota sistem sosial lain mengadopsi podcast tersebut.

Abstract

TRAINING OF ONLINE MEDIA CONTENT WRITING FOR SMES GALENGDOWO VILLAGE, WONOSALAM DISTRICT, JOMBANG REGENCY. Galengdowo is a village in Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency, East Java. Galengdowo Village consists of 5 hamlets namely Wates, Sanggar, Plumpung, Galengdowo, and Pangajaran Hamlet. Galengdowo Village is located on a plateau in the southeast of Jombang City on the slopes of Mount Anjasmoro. Lack of publication on the internet makes tourism potential and the results of its natural wealth less known by the public. Publication activities can be done through regular web content updates and village branding on social media such as Facebook and Instagram. The purpose of the Galengdowo.com website content writing training is as a means of promotion, publication, and introduction of MSME products to potential consumers through online media . In the community service program with training activities to create online media content on the SMEs of Galengdowo Village, Wonosalam, Jombang can be said to be successful. This can be seen from the increase in understanding of SMEs involved in the process of making online media content.
