Abstract

Financial performance serves as a primary indicator to evaluate financial management effectiveness in State Universities with Legal Entity Status (PTN BH). This study analyzes the impact of budget planning, fund utilization efficiency, and financial accountability on the financial performance of PTN BH, mediated by financial risk management. Utilizing a quantitative survey approach at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), data from financial management personnel were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that budget planning directly and positively impacts PTN BH financial performance. Furthermore, budget planning, fund utilization efficiency, and financial accountability positively influence financial risk management. Conversely, fund utilization efficiency and financial accountability do not show significant direct effects on financial performance. However, financial risk management demonstrates a strong positive influence on financial performance. These results indicate that effective financial risk management acts as a crucial mediating mechanism that strengthens the path from budget planning, efficient fund usage, and accountability toward optimized financial performance. Ultimately, this research contributes to public sector financial management theory and offers practical guidance for PTN BH administrators aiming to enhance institutional governance and achieve sustainable financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on organizational performance through employee adaptation at PT X, a company undergoing a management transition following a takeover via homologation. Management changes amidst an organizational crisis present challenges such as shifts in work culture, declining employee trust, and disruptions to organizational effectiveness. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research population consists of PT X employees undergoing organizational restructuring, with data collected via questionnaires. Analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results indicate that transformational leadership style and organizational culture have a positive and significant impact on employee adaptation. Both variables also positively and significantly influence organizational performance. Furthermore, employee adaptation positively affects organizational performance and mediates the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on organizational performance. These findings demonstrate that organizational success during a transition period depends not only on business restructuring but also on transformational leadership, an adaptive organizational culture, and the employees' ability to adapt to change. Therefore, the organization needs to strengthen leadership, organizational culture, and human resource management to maintain stability and sustainably enhance organizational performance.

Abstract

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have transformed personal financial management, yet the gap between the adoption of digital financial tools and the financial literacy and trust required for effective use remains underexplored, particularly in urban Indonesia. This study examines the effects of AI-Based Financial Literacy, Perceived Ease of Use, and Technology Readiness on Personal Financial Management Behavior, with Trust in AI as a mediating variable. The study extends the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology Readiness Index (TRI) through the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework by integrating trust into an AI-based financial behavior model. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using survey data from 200 purposively selected respondents in Depok City, aged 18–40 years and using AI-based financial applications. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results show that AI-Based Financial Literacy (β = 0.214; p = 0.001), Perceived Ease of Use (β = 0.187; p = 0.005), and Technology Readiness (β = 0.168; p = 0.008) positively and significantly affect Personal Financial Management Behavior. All hypotheses (H1–H6) were supported, with R² = 0.612. The findings confirm that Trust in AI mediates these relationships. The study contributes to TAM and TRI by highlighting trust as a mechanism linking AI-related capabilities to financial behavior and offers implications for developing an inclusive and trustworthy digital financial ecosystem.
