Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian di Panti Asuhan Al-Wahhab penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anak yatim dengan menitikberatkan pada pembentukan karakter, kreativitas dan motivasi untuk mencapai impiannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membangun semangat anak-anak panti asuhan; emberikan sedikit gambaran untuk masa depan; berbagi cerita dan kebahagiaan; membangun karakter pada anak-anak panti asuhan, dan menjalin silaturahmi kepada anak yatim piatu. Metode yang digunakan meliputi berbagai kegiatan mulai dari sosialisasi, kegiatan menggambar, berbagi cerita hingga bermain game, dan memberikan motivasi melalui kutipan-kutipan inspiratif. Dengan partisipasi aktif anak-anak dan dukungan tim pengabdi, kegiatan ini berhasil menciptakan suasana yang memotivasi anak-anak untuk mengungkapkan impiannya dengan lebih percaya diri. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan karakter, kreativitas, rasa percaya diri dan motivasi anak panti asuhan. Mereka menjadi lebih terbuka dalam berinteraksi, lebih berani mengungkapkan impian, dan lebih percaya diri dalam mengejar tujuan hidup. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pengabdian masyarakat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan karakter dan pengembangan kreativitas anak yatim. Namun ada beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan ketidakpastian jumlah peserta yang perlu diatasi. Oleh karena itu, saran untuk kegiatan serupa di masa mendatang antara lain lebih memperhatikan perkiraan jumlah peserta, memperluas sumber daya manusia yang terlibat, dan menyusun strategi yang lebih fleksibel untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada. Dengan begitu, kegiatan ini dapat terus memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi anak-anak yatim piatu dalam mengembangkan potensi terbaiknya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the social environment-based inquiry model in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects at UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods, namely interviews with students who have taken part in learning using the inquiry model. based on the social environment. The results of the interviews showed that students felt more involved and enthusiastic in the learning process. They stated that this approach made social studies material easier to understand because they could see the real application of the concepts learned through observations and activities in the surrounding environment. Apart from that, the application of this inquiry model also contributes to improving students' social skills. Students reported increased confidence in speaking in front of the class, ability to work collaboratively in groups, and skills in listening and respecting the opinions of others. Frequent group discussions and collaborative assignments in this model help students develop better communication and collaboration skills. The results of this research are that the social environment-based inquiry model is effective in improving students' social skills and understanding of social studies material. The suggestions put forward include increasing teacher training, developing learning resources, collaborating with the surrounding environment, strengthening evaluation and reflection, and increasing parent participation. It is hoped that a more optimal implementation of this model can have a more significant impact on students' academic and social development

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the role playing learning model in developing social care character in class V students at UPT SPF SDN Mangkura I Makassar City in social studies subjects. Using qualitative research methods, this research involved the Principal, Class Teacher, and 5 students. The research results show that the role playing learning model significantly improves students' social care character, increases their sensitivity to social issues, and encourages active participation in group activities that require cooperation and empathy. This model also makes it easier for students to understand abstract social concepts through direct practice in situations that are relevant to everyday life. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of implementing interactive and participatory learning methods in forming students' positive character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze current public leadership trends using a bibliometric approach. This research is relevant given the importance of public leadership to achieve organizational goals through strategic planning, resource management, and its influence on subordinates. The main objective of the study is to identify keywords that frequently appear in the related literature, mapping relevant topics, around the world in the 2019–2024-time frame. The method used is to collect data through the Publish or Perish application from two main databases, namely Scopus and Google Scholar, then analyze it using Mendeley to identify author keywords. Further bibliometric analysis was carried out using VOSviewer to map the relationships between keywords and distribute the research geographically. The results showed that the keyword "organizational behavior" was the most dominant theme in the study, with a strong relationship with various other topics. These keywords are at the center of the network, reflecting the importance of organizational behavior in the context of leadership. In addition, keywords such as "public service delivery", "healthcare leadership", "public health leadership", and "ethical leadership" also show significant relevance, describing leadership dimensions that include the public sector, health, and ethics. Various themes such as "diversity and inclusion", "job satisfaction", "educational leadership", and "collaborative governance" also enriched the scope of the research, showing the relationship between leadership and aspects of culture, education, job satisfaction, and collaborative governance. The contribution of this study lies in presenting a comprehensive overview of research trends on public leadership that can provide new insights for researchers and implementers of public organizations

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy of school principals in improving teacher competence and the quality of science and technology learning at SD Inpres Tamannyeleng, Barombong District, Gowa Regency. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study are the supervisor, the chairman of the committee, and 3 high-class teachers. The data collection techniques in this study use interviews, observations, and documentation while the data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn/verification. The results of the study show that the policy of the head of SD Inpres Tamannyeleng to improve the pedagogic and professional competence of teachers includes training, development, mentoring, and impact evaluation, supported by strong management, adequate resources, and stakeholder cooperation. Obstacles such as lack of support, limited access to training, and lack of funding are overcome through strengthening leadership, expanding access, and effective fund management. For the quality of science and technology learning, the policy includes planning, structured training, and monitoring, supported by facilities, teacher competence, and partnerships. Obstacles in the form of limited facilities and community support are overcome by intensive training, facility improvement, and community collaboration. This comprehensive policy is expected to significantly improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through the use of Canva and Wordwall-based learning media in grade VI students of SD Negeri 74 Bontorita II, Takalar Regency. The subject of this study is grade VI students of SD Negeri 74 Bontorita II, Takalar Regency with a total of 21 students, consisting of 14 boys and 7 girls. This research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I which was carried out 3 meetings (the first and second meetings for the learning process and the third meeting for social studies learning outcome assessment activities) and cycle II was also carried out 3 meetings. The two cycles were carried out for 2 months plus summarizing all existing research results. The results of the study show that the use of Canva and Wordwall-based learning media can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in class VI UPT SD Negeri 74 Bontorita II, Takalar Regency. This is evidenced by the increase in the average percentage of student learning outcomes in each cycle. In the first cycle, the average student learning outcome was 66 with a learning completion percentage of only 52%. In cycle II, there was a significant increase with the average student learning outcome of 82 with the percentage of learning completion reaching 91%. This means that the average percentage of student learning outcomes has exceeded the set success criteria of 75%.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase interest and learning outcomes of social studies through the application of a Graffiti type cooperative learning model in grade IV students of SD Inpres Borongunti, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. The subject of this study is grade IV students of SD Inpres Borongunti, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency with a total of 29 students, consisting of 16 male students and 13 female students. This research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I which was carried out 3 meetings (the first and second meetings for the learning process and the third meeting for the assessment of science and science learning outcomes) and cycle II was also carried out 3 meetings. The two cycles were carried out for 2 months plus summarizing all existing research results. The results of the study show that the application of the Graffiti type cooperative learning model significantly increases the learning interest of grade IV students of SD Inpres Borongunti, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. In the first cycle, the average student interest in learning only reached 69%, which reflects the need to increase student engagement and motivation to learn. However, after improvements were made in the second cycle, students' interest in learning increased sharply to 88%, indicating an increase in student enthusiasm and participation in the science and science learning process. The Graffiti type cooperative learning model has proven to be very effective in improving student learning outcomes in science subjects at SD Inpres Borongunti, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. In the first cycle, only 51% of students achieved learning completion, while 49% of students did not complete with an average of 67.00. After the intervention in cycle II, there was a significant increase where 93% of students achieved learning completion and only 7% did not complete it with an average of 82.00. These results show that the Graffiti type cooperative learning model is able to substantially improve students' material understanding and academic achievement.
