Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze: (1) How the Work-Life Balance, Flexible Working Arrangement, and Telework Ability of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in Central Jakarta during the COVID-19 pandemic (2) Measure the effect of Flexible Working Arrangement and Telework Ability on Work-Life Balance (3) Effect of Flexible Working Arrangement on Telework Ability of ASN in Central Jakarta during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research Methodology: The method in this research is quantitative. The research instrument used an online questionnaire distributed to ASN in Central Jakarta in a Google Form. The data analysis method used is a descriptive analysis of variables and respondents, the respondents in this study work in government offices located in the Central Jakarta area. The test used in this research is the Statistical Test and Hypothesis Testing Using the SPSS 25 Application. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling and uses a convenience and snowball approach with the Krejcie formula. Results: The results of this study indicate that the application of Flexible Working Arrangement and Telework Ability of ASN has a positive effect on their Work-Life Balance. Limitation: The limitation of the research is in the pandemic conditions, which limit researchers from conducting offline research. Contribution: It is hoped that this research can be useful for Government Agencies in the Central Jakarta area as well as a reference for further research on Flexible Working Arrangements, Telework Ability, and Work-Life Balance.

Abstract

Purpose: This research is to examine the effect of collaboration skills on work engagement, digital leadership on work engagement, perceived organizational support on work engagement, and collaboration skills, digital leadership, and perceived organizational support (simultaneously) on employees in DKI Jakarta. Research Methodology: This study used descriptive research methods and data collection techniques. Questionnaires were distributed to 388 DKI Jakarta employees. The analytical method used was descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, correlation test, difference test, and hypothesis testing. Results: The results of this study indicate that collaboration skills have a significant effect on work engagement, digital leadership has a significant effect on work engagement, digital leadership has a significant influence on collaboration skills, perceived organizational support has a significant effect on work engagement, perceived organizational support has a significant influence on collaboration skills, and perceived organizational support has a significant influence on digital leadership for employees in DKI Jakarta. Limitations: This study only assesses the variables of work engagement, collaboration skills, digital leadership, and perceived organizational support, and only employees who work in DKI Jakarta, as well as the limited literacy on collaboration skills and digital leadership. Contribution: It can be used as a reference in developing company strategies in increasing work engagement, and as a means of increasing knowledge about work engagement, collaboration skills, digital leadership, and perceived organizational support.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the influence of digital leadership, total quality management, and knowledge management on companies’ sustainability management in DKI Jakarta. Research methodology: The sampling technique used in this research is the convenience sampling technique. It used primary data through questionnaire distribution with 389 respondents of employees who work in DKI Jakarta. As for the data analysis technique, this research used the regression technique in both simple and multiple regression. Results: The results of this study indicate that digital leadership and knowledge management have a significant influence on the sustainability management of companies in DKI Jakarta. Meanwhile, total quality management does not have a significant influence on the sustainability management of companies in DKI Jakarta Limitations: This study only examines the variables of digital leadership, total quality management, knowledge management, and sustainability management. This research is also limited to employees who work at companies in DKI Jakarta. Contribution: This study shows how the level of digital leadership, total quality management, knowledge management, and sustainability management in companies in DKI Jakarta. This study also shows how digital leadership, total quality management, and knowledge management affect sustainability management. Companies can use this research to improve the company’s sustainability management by implementing digital leadership, knowledge management and paying more attention to the importance of developing total quality management within the company.

Abstract

Purpose: This paper aims to examine innovative work behavior and the impact of learning agility, work engagement, and digital readiness on employees at DKI Jakarta. Research Methodology: This paper is based on the quantitative study by using a survey method through questionnaire distribution with 407 respondents of employees who work in DKI Jakarta. As for the data analysis technique, this analysis used SPSS with regression technique in simple regression. Results: This paper proves statistically there are significant and positive impacts from each variable (work engagement, digital readiness, and learning agility) on the innovative work behavior of employees in DKI Jakarta. Also, there are significant and positive impacts from each variable (work engagement and digital readiness) on learning agility. But learning agility does not have a role as an intervening variable in influencing the relationship between work engagement, digital readiness, and innovative work behavior. Limitations: This paper is using nonprobability sampling and also limited to employees who work in DKI Jakarta. Contribution: This paper shows how work engagement and digital readiness affect learning agility which has an impact on the innovative work behavior of employees in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

This study was conducted at a manufacturing and infrastructure company in Jakarta. The variables studied were Self Management, Authoritative Leadership Style, Digital Workplace, and Learning Agility. Data collection was carried out from November 2021 to December 2021 with the data collection method using a questionnaire. The research method in this research is quantitative. This study aims to determine the effect of self-management, authoritative leadership style, and digital workplace on learning agility. From this research, it can be concluded that the level of self-management, authoritative leadership style, and digital workplace affect the level of learning agility in the company. Perubahan lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis membutuhkan ketangkasan perusahaan untuk beradaptasi. Karena itu learning agility merupakan hal stratejik yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap pegawai. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi mengenai learnning agility dan menguji faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadapnya. Studi empiris dilakukan pada pegawai dari industri manufaktur dan infrastruktur di Jakarta untuk memperkuat pembahasan. Studi tersebut berhasil melibatkan 2021 sampai dengan Desember 2021 dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self management, authoritative leadership style, dan digital workplace terhadap learning agility. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat self management, authoritative leadership style, dan digital workplace berpengaruh terhadap tingkat learning agility di perusahaan.

Abstract

This article attempts to elaborate the adaptability of SMEs (small medium enterprises) and effects of leadership and collaboration on SME adaptability. This article is a quantitative study with causal analysis. The collected data from 506 SMEs was analyzed by SmartPLS. The result reveals that SME flexibility influences on its resilience. Prosocial leadership and collaborative capability impact directly, positively, and significantly on SME resilience and flexibility. Collaborative capability played a mediating role on the relationship between leadership and adaptability. For being survival in embracing disruptive changes, the owners and/or managers of SMEs must apply pro-social orientation in leading business and developing collaborative capabilities simultaneously for being resilient. The novelty of this article is an elaboration of the linkage between leadership and adaptability, instead of the linkage between leadership and performance. This article strengthens the previous studies that leadership has an indirect impact on organizational performance or adaptability, it is mediated by collaborative capability.

Abstract

Perubahan yang terus-menerus dalam bisnis menuntuk orang-orang dalam organsasi untuk dapat adatif dengan cepat. Ketangkasan belajar (learning agility) menjadi hal strategis dalam pengembanan dan pengelolaan sumber daya manusian. Artikel ini melakukan pengujian secara statistik atas pengaruh dari budaya belajar terhadap ketangkasanan belajar. Apakah budaya belajar memiliki dampak yang langsung ataukah tidak langsung terhadap ketangkasan belajar? Artikel ini didasarkan pada studi empiris terhadap 107 orang manajemen puncak dari beberapa perusahaan terkemuka di Indonesia. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan PLS based SEM dengan menggunaakan SmartPLS versi 3.0. Hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa budaya belajar merupakan antesiden dari keterlekatan kerja (work engagement) dan keterlekatan kerja merupakan prediktor yang baik untuk ketangkasan belajar. Karena itu keterlekatan kerja merupakan mediator pada hubungan antara budaya belajar dan ketangkasan belajar. Untuk menjadi pembelajar yang tangkas dalam organisasi bisnis dewasa ini, para pegawai didorong agar memiliki keterlekatan kerja yang baik dan terus menerus dipapar dengan budaya belajar yang intensif maka akan membangun ketangkasan belajar yang memadai.

Abstract

Ketidaksetaraan dalam hal digital skill menjadi tantangan tersendiri yang dihadapi organisasi baik perusahaan maupun pemerintahan untuk menjamin produktivitas dan efektivitas dalam work from home semasa Covid-19. Pengembangan digital skill menjadi faktor penting yang coba dibahas pada artikel ini.  Apakah digital skill dari pegawai yang melakukan WFH itu lebih dipengaruhi oleh digital leadership dari supervisornya ataukah oleh digital collaboration yang mereka lakukan dalam tim kerja? Riset empiris yang bersifat cross sectional dan melibatkan 824 pekerja kantoran 32 propinsi di Indonesia sebagai responden. Pengumpulan data mengunakan online-questionnaire dengan pendekatan convenience dan snowballing sebagai sampling method. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan structural equation modelling yang berbasis partial least square dalam format first order constructs. Hasil pengujian hipotesis secara statistik menjelaskan bahwa digital skill dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh digital collaboration dan digital collaboration dipengaruhi oleh digital leadership. Digital leadership berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap digital skill. Kepemimpinan supervisor selama melewati masa COVID-19 sebaiknya lebih diarahkan untuk mendorong berkembanganya digital collaboration sehingga melalui hal tersebut berkembanglah digital skill.

Abstract

Produktivitas dan keterlekatan kerja menjadi isu strategis ketika perusahaan selaku organisasi bisnis menghadapi masa sulit seperti saat pandemi Covid-19 berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji faktor-faktor produktivitas dan keterlekatan kerja pegawai milenial. Apakah ambidextrous leadership dan juga digital culture berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas dan keterlekataan kerja? Artikel ini dikembangkan berdasarkan riset kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif dan kausal terhadap pegawai milenial di DKI Jaya sebagai responden. Analisis structural equation modelling berbasis aplikasi SmartPLS digunakan untuk memperoleh kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa produktivitas kerja pegawai milenial semasa Covid-19 tidak dipengaruhi oleh digital culture, ambidextrous leadership maupun work engagement. Namun work engagement saja yang dipengaruhi oleh kedua faktor tersebut. Work productivity and engagement have become important issues when business organizations face difficult times such as during the Covid-19 pandemic. This article aims to statistically examine the factors that affect productivity and work attachment for millennial employees. Do ambidextrous leadership and digital culture have enough influence on productivity and work engagement? This article was developed based on quantitative research with descriptive and causal analysis of data obtained from 399 millennial employees in DKI Jaya as respondents. Structural equation modeling analysis based on the SmartPLS application was used to obtain conclusions. This article proves that work productivity of millennial employees during Covid-19 is not affected by digital culture and ambidextrous leadership, but work engagement is impacted.

Abstract

COVID-19 does not only cause a physical and mental health crisis, but also an economic crisis. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as pillars of the national economy need business resilience to survive. This article tries to discuss the ability of MSMEs for resilience, flexibility, and collaboration. This article is an attempt for answering the question whether business flexibility and collaboration capability have a positive and significant impact on MSME resilience. A cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted to answer this question. The study involved 506 owners and/or managers of MSMEs in Java and Sumatra as respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using SmartPLS version 3. From the results of statistical analysis, it was concluded that MSME resilience was influenced by business flexibility and collaboration capabilities of MSMEs. Collaboration capability has a direct or indirect effect on business resilience, but business flexibility does not play a mediator role. To increase business resilience, MSMEs can develop business flexibility based on digital technology and collaboration.
