Abstract

In this article, we demonstrated the utilization of digital poster media of a fantasy fairy tale in learning activities for Indonesian students. By observations, we have found that the participants had a low ability to understand the material. This research was conducted to validate the usability of digital poster media in learning activities. We have designed a digital poster containing fantasy fairy tale material to satisfy our objective. The mentioned poster is then used to achieve the elements of phase D of the prototype curriculum. We used the study method of the Hannafin and Peck development model with three phases (needs assessment, designing, and development and implementation). We have conducted evaluation and revision stages in all phases on the corresponding poster. Based on the calculation of the two validation aspects (i.e., subject and media experts), we obtained the value of subject experts as 87.5%; and media experts as 89.58%. The average of the two validators was 88.54 %. Therefore, both validators stated that the mentioned poster is valid. Thus, this poster has the potential to be applied and to improve the competence of the viewer element.

Abstract

Batik is an illustrated Indonesian cloth that is specially made by writing or removing wax on the cloth and then processing it in a certain way which has its own characteristics. Batik is one of Indonesia's internationally recognized cultural heritages. Therefore, this raw material is in high demand in most local as well as international markets. It is very important to promote and offer this market in an effective and attractive way. Electronic marketing is the way companies communicate, market and sell products and services via the Internet. However, several batik factories in Indonesia have not implemented this optimally even though they have websites. Interaction with companies is still low, as evidenced by the number of customers who have visited in the last 4 months, around 3,000. They use the batik website only for sightseeing not for shopping. So the purpose of this research is to analyze the level of usability and responsiveness of batik websites in Sidoarjo City batik companies. In this study, a usability test and user experience method were used in which about 30 experienced sources participated. Descriptive statistical analysis was made to clarify the status of the website. Abstract

Surabaya is one of the largest cities in Indonesia, so it is the main attraction for most people to be able to live or try their luck there, many people come from various regions to work or continue their education. With so many immigrants, the need for a place to live is also increasing, but here there are obstacles, namely the difficulty of getting information about where to live, so that in this study an information system was designed, namely a website-based E-boarding application as a means of providing information about boarding houses that is effective so that it makes it easier for housing seekers, as well as boarding managers, can be used for promotional media for the boarding house that they will rent out and manage everything about the boarding house quickly and easily. The waterfall method is used in the development of this system, modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language). PHP is the programming language used in making this application with the XAMPP webserver. This e-kos is equipped with a feature for booking boarding rooms and boarding payments without having to come directly to the location and making it easier for renters and boarding owners.

Abstract

Abstract One of the obstacles in the production of crackers is related to the manual cracker frying machine using firewood as the heat source for the cracker fryer, there is no temperature regulation so that it often overheats and reduces the quality of the fried crackers. The very high room temperature and the smoke from the wood-fired stove meant that not many workers survived. Seeing the existing phenomena and based on observations, it is felt that efforts are needed to improve the operational system and the performance of the sand cracker production unit. The use of human power to rotate the furnace will be replaced by an automatic control system using electrical energy via an electromotor. In addition, the replacement of wood fuel with gas fuel is carried out so that it is cleaner, equipped with controlled temperatures. The cracker frying chamber can have a relatively lower temperature and is free of smoke or soot from firewood. The temperature of the drum of the cracker sand fryer is installed with a sensor as a means of controlling the size of the temperature using an electronic control unit (ECU), thereby obtaining a truly ideal temperature for frying. By automating the frying machine there is an increase in the average frying time and quality. an average of 31.19% and an increase in production capacity of 36.67%. Meanwhile, fuel consumption has an efficiency of 28%. Abstrak Salah satu yang menjadi kendala dalam proses produksi krupuk pasir adalah terkait mesin penggoreng krupuk pasir masih manual dengan menggunakan kayu bakar sebagai sumber panas mesin penggoreng krupuk, tidak adanya pengaturan suhu sehingga kerapkali overheat dan menurunkan mutu kerupuk yang digoreng. Suhu ruang yang sangat tinggi dengan asap pembakaran dari tungku dengan bahan bakar kayu menjadikan tidak banyak tenaga kerja yang bertahan. Melihat fenomena yang ada dan berdasarkan observasi maka dirasakan perlu upaya perbaikan dalam sistem operasional dan kinerja unit produksi krupuk pasir. Pemakaian tenaga manusia untuk memutar tungku akan digantikan dengan sistem control otomatis menggunakan energi listrik melalui electromotor. Selain itu dilakukan penggantian bahan bakar kayu menjadi bahan bakar gas sehingga lebih bersih dilengkapi dengan temperatur terkontrol. Ruang penggoreng krupuk bisa relatif lebih rendah temperaturnya serta bebas dari asap maupun jelaga kayu bakar. Temperatur drum ruang penggoreng krupuk pasir dipasang sensor sebagai sarana pengontrol besar kecilnya temperature dengan menggunakan elektronik control unit (ECU), dengan demikian akan diperoleh besaran temperatur yang benar-benar ideal dalam pengorengan.Dengan melakukan otomatisasi mesin penggorengan terdapat peningkatan waktu dan kualitas penggorengan rata-rata sebesar 31,19 % dan peningktan kapasitas produksi sebesar 36,67%.Sedangkan pemakaian bahan bakar ada effisiensi sebesar 28 %.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the quality of the explanatory text learning videos for the events of November 10 based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validity is based on the assessment of material experts and media experts. Practicality based on user assessment and student responses. Effectiveness based on the results of trials in class. This study uses research and development methods. The research model uses ADDIE (Raiser and Mollenda). Data collection instruments use questionnaires and tests. The results of the study show that the learning video of the explanatory text of the events of 10 November has good quality reading and viewing elements. The results of the expert's assessment stated that all aspects of the learning video material were in the very good category (80.68%). The results of the media expert's assessment stated that the learning video design was in the very good category (89.28%). The results of the user assessment stated that all aspects of the learning videos were in the very good category (93%). The results of student responses stated that all aspects of learning videos were in the very good category (83.8%). The trial results stated that all aspects of the learning video were effective and in the very good category (71.42%). Based on data analysis, it can be stated that the learning videos are of high quality and can be used as learning media for explanatory texts on the events of November 10 in class VII-B at SMP Muhammadiyah 17 Surabaya. Keywords: explanatory text, learning video quality Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas video pembelajaran teks eksplanasi peristiwa 10 November berdasarkan kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan. Kevalidan berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media. Kepraktisan berdasarkan penilaian pengguna dan respon peserta didik. Keefektifan berdasarkan hasil uji coba di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Model penelitian menggunakan ADDIE (Raiser dan Mollenda). Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan video pembelajaran teks eksplanasi peristiwa 10 November elemen membaca dan memirsa berkualitas. Hasil penilaian dari ahli menyatakan bahwa seluruh aspek materi video pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat baik (80,68%). Hasil penilaian dari ahli media menyatakan bahwa desain video pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat baik (89,28%). Hasil penilaian dari pengguna menyatakan bahwa seluruh aspek video pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat baik (93%). Hasil respon peserta didik menyatakan bahwa seluruh aspek video pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat baik (83,8%). Hasil uji coba menyatakan bahwa seluruh aspek video pembelajaran efektif dan dalam kategori sangat baik (71,42%). Berdasarkan analisis data dapat dinyatakan bahwa video pembelajaran berkualitas dan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran teks eksplanasi peristiwa 10 November di kelas VII-B di SMP Muhammadiyah 17 Surabaya. Abstract

An intelligent nation can be developed through character education by cultivating the main character values. Several schools have implemented it that there has been a change in patterns due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research: the first to find a model of civilizing the main character values through literacy in Muhammadiyah Elementary school/MI. the second, knowing the impact of cultivating the values of the main character through literacy in Muhammadiyah Elementary school/MI students. Phenomenological approach to explore based on the concept point of view of Muhammadiyah Elementary school/MI students in Surabaya as research informants. Using survey methods, field observations, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data processing with software of ATLAS.ti. The results showed that the main character values have been applied. It was reflected in the daily behaviour of students in worshiping without being ordered, loving and maintaining the good name of Indonesia. Wearing batik clothes as a form of nationalism, studying well, doing assignments on time independently. Caring for friends by sharing, throwing garbage in its place, Not bullying, not taking the rights of others as anti-corruption behaviour and a form of love for the truth

Abstract

In order to lead to the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka based on local wisdom at SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya, valid teaching materials are needed. The purpose of this study was to describe the validity of the learning media in the form of videos using the Powtoon application in the descriptive text lesson on the theme of Suroboyo Religious Tourism elements of writing phase D. The research method used was quantitative with data sources in the form of video assessments from validators through questionnaires. Based on the validation results by the media expert validator, the description text video on the theme of Suroboyo religious tourism is said to be very feasible with an average of 27 and a percentage of 96.4%. Based on material experts, the developed media received an average score of 23.5 which was then percentaged to 73.4%, so that it was included in the feasible category.

Abstract

sit up dan denyut nadi bertujuan untuk mengukur ketahanan tubuh dalam berolahraga. Manfaat sit up dalam kesehatan meningkatkan kemampuan sirkulasi kerja jantung dan dapat mencegah penyakit jantung. Pada tes olahraga yang masih manual, rawan kesalahan dalam menghitung jumlah sit up & denyut nadi sehingga diperlukan penghitungan secara otomatis dengan Pengembangan aplikasi berbasis android untuk monitoring jumlah sit up dan denyut nadi. Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk memudakan sistem monitoring penghitung sit up dan denyut nadi saat berolahraga pengembangan ini di lengkapi dengan sensor proximity yang berfungsi untuk menghitung jumlah sit up & sensor pulse berfungsi untuk menghitung denyut nadi saat berolahraga. Monitoring penghitung sit up ini berbasis android di lengkapi micro sd card sebagai penyimpanan data melalui sensor. Dengan demikian alat dan aplikasi akan memudahkan cara monitoring jumlah sit up dan denyut nadi saat berolahraga menggunakan sistem aplikasi android secara online.Kata Kunci : Sit Up, Denyut Nadi, Android

Abstract

Sistem pakan ternak otomatis adalah sistem untuk memberikan pakan ternak tanpa menggunakan tenaga manusia secara langsung. Rata-rata para peternak khususnya ayam pedaging di Indonesia sampai saat ini masih menggunakan sistem manual untuk memberi pakan ayam peliharaannya. Peternak menggunakan tangan dan harus berjalan sepanjang kandang ke tempat pengisian pakan untuk mengisi tempat-tempat pakan tersebut apabila kandang yang dimiliki sangat luas kegiatan tersebut sangat menyita waktu dan tenaga. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk memudahkan para peternak dalam hal member pakan terak. Rancang bangun sistem pakan ternak otomatis berbasis arduino dan load cell mampu menjalakan sistem secara real time yang telah diatur disofeware arduino dan dibantu dengan adanya RTC (real time clock). Hasil dari Uji Coba penggunaan sensor berat dan dinamo dc menunjukan bahwa pengisian pakan ternak membutuhkan waktu 5 detik untuk kembali ketempat semula dengan beban 3 gram.Kata Kunci : Sistem Pakan Ternak Otomatis, Load Cell, Arduino Uno, Dinamo DC, RTC

Abstract

Padi merupakan salah satu komoditas yang paling banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Karang Anyar Kec Ketapang Kab Sampang Madura Jawa Timur. Terlepas dari melimpahnya lahan dan produksi padi sebagai komoditas unggulan Indonesia. Indonesa juga merupakan salah satu negara agraris yang penduduknya mayoritas bekerja di sektor pertanian karena makanan pokoknya adalah beras, namun para petani juga selalu memiliki kendala yang bisa mempengaruhi menurunnya hasil panen padi, baik dari segi kualitas maupun kuantitas. Penurunan kuantitas padi, faktor utamanya ialah serangan berbagai hama. Oleh karena itu pada Tugas Akhir ini dirancanglah sebuah Prototipe Pengusir Hama Tanaman Padi Berbasis Arduino Uno Dengan Energi Alternatif Solar Cell. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dalam konteks kehidupan nyata Petani padi di Desa Karang Anyar Kec Ketapang Kab Sampang Madura Jawa Timur, di desa tersebut para petaninya menggunakan cara manual untuk mengusir hama burung yaitu dengan menggunakan tali yang di gantungi boneka sawah dan ditarik-tarik ketika ada burung yang hinggap disawahnya. Dalam prototipe ini direalisasikan dengan Mikrokonrroler Arduino uno dan dua sensor yaitu Sensor Cahaya / LDR dan Sensor Ultrasonik. Prototipe Pengusir Hama ini mampu mengusir Hama Burung, Tikus, dan Wereng dengan otomatis. sehingga dengan adanya Prototipe ini memberikan kemudahan bagi petani padi dalam pengawasan tanaman padinya dari serangan hama tentunya dengan cara yang lebih efektif dan efisien karena tanpa harus datang ke sawahnya untuk mengawasi tanaman padinya dari berbagai serangan Hama. Prototipe ini ketika sensor ultrasonik mendeteksi hama burung dengan jarak 0 – 4m maka Motor servo bergerak 90° dan Buzzer mengeluarkan frekuensi 33339,75 Hz untuk mengusirnya. Dan ketika Sensor cahaya/LDR tidak terkena Cahaya otomatis Alat Pengusir Tikus dan Infrared LED On (Alat Pengusir Tikus mengeluarkan frekuensi 36468,5 Hz dan Infrared LED Menghasilkan Cahaya dengan Intensitas 275 lux) untuk mengusir Tikus dan Menjebak Wereng pada Baskom yang ada dibawah Infrared LED. dan ketika LDR terkena Cahaya otomatis Alat Pengusir Tikus dan Imfrared LED Off.Kata Kunci : Arduino Uno, Prototipe Pengusir Hama, Tanaman Padi
