Abstract

Management psychology is a management discipline that uses a psychological approach to understand the personality of each person in an organization. Psychological factors influence individual performance, communication patterns, and interactions in the work environment. The aim of this research is to explain the role of managerial psychology in shaping engagement and motivation for organizational performance. This research uses a literature review method from various books, articles and research reports. The results of the literature review conducted show that a supportive work environment can only be built through good leadership practices. Good leadership practices can be identified from how leaders manage communication and interaction patterns to meet the needs and expectations of each individual. These needs and expectations are met through a fair and humane approach to all members, clear career paths, rewards for work performance, quality development programs, objective job evaluations, and follow-up on job evaluation results. Leaders cannot create a comfortable work environment unless they earn the trust and loyalty of members. Trust can only be obtained when leaders care about all their members, are willing to accept opinions and suggestions, and are willing to share experiences with their members.

Abstract

This journal discusses the important role of teachers as psychological guides in building strong relationships with students to achieve effective classroom management. Teachers are not only responsible for delivering learning material, but also for understanding and helping students overcome various psychological problems that can hinder their learning process. Building strong relationships with students can be done in various ways, such as: Show empathy and concern. So teachers need to show that they care about students as individuals, not just as learners. Create open and supportive communication. Likewise, teachers must provide space for students to feel comfortable in sharing their thoughts and feelings. By building strong relationships with students, teachers can create a safe and conducive learning environment, so that students feel more motivated and involved in the teaching and learning process. This can ultimately increase the effectiveness of classroom management and achieve optimal learning goals.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk kehidupan sosial, mobilitas sosial, dan perubahan masyarakat. Hubungan erat antara pendidikan dan kehidupan sosial, dengan menekankan peran pendidikan dalam stratifikasi dan mobilitas sosial, serta bagaimana nilai-nilai budaya dan institusi sosial dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan. Madrasah sebagai pranata sosial, menyoroti bagaimana lembaga ini berfungsi sebagai media pendidikan agama dan sosial dalam menciptakan individu yang berkualitas dan berbudi luhur. Dampak pendidikan terhadap perubahan sosial, khususnya dalam meningkatkan status sosial individu dan transformasi dari masyarakat tradisional ke masyarakat modern. Ketiga jurnal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan bukan hanya alat pemberdayaan individu, tetapi juga sarana penting dalam menciptakan perubahan positif dalam struktur sosial dan budaya masyarakat.

Abstract

Islamic education is an essential element in community development that requires effective communication strategies to enhance organizational performance. This research employs a qualitative research approach with a literature review method to analyze effective communication strategies in the context of Islamic education. The discussion covers the definition of communication, factors influencing communication, indicators of effective communication, strategies that can be applied in the context of Islamic education, as well as barriers and challenges that may arise in the communication process. Additionally, this study explores the relationship between effective communication and the improvement of organizational performance in Islamic education. The findings of this research are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of more effective communication strategies for enhancing the performance of Islamic education organizations. Furthermore, this study is also expected to provide a deeper understanding of the importance of communication in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

Dyslexia is one of the most common forms of specific learning difficulties among the two other forms of specific learning difficulties, namely dysgraphia and dyscalculia. The main objective of this study is to analyse the effect of dyslexia on children's psychological development. In accordance with the aims and objectives of this research, the research method used in this research is library research. The literature review is obtained through literature review and documentation data. This literature review is not only in the form of concepts but also criticises the study of existing theories to strengthen the results of this literature. Dyslexia is a disorder in the learning process characterised by difficulties in reading, writing, counting and becoming withdrawn, shy and aloof. It is related to changes in the structure and function of the left hemisphere of the brain. Genetic factors, family environment and sleep problems are believed to be closely related to the occurrence of dyslexia in children. Intervention efforts that can be made by parents in dyslexic children are "listen, listen, and learn" this method can reduce the risk of dyslexia in children. The effect of dyslexia on child development can be in the form of difficulties in reading skills, personality disorders, behaviour, and quality of life. It also affects language development disorders, declarative consolidation disorders during sleep, and dyslexia comorbidities.

Abstract

This study examines students' psychological problems from an Islamic perspective, placing heart disease as the root of the problem and spiritual solutions as the primary approach to treatment. Various psychological problems experienced by students, such as anxiety, academic stress, low self-confidence, impaired emotional regulation, and social problems, are understood not only as psychological disorders but also as manifestations of spiritual and moral imbalance. This study uses a qualitative method with a library study approach through analysis of current literature relevant to Islamic psychology, Islamic counseling, and student mental health. The results of the study indicate that the integration of modern psychology with an Islamic spiritual approach through Islamic counseling, worship practices, tazkiyah an-nafs (religious devotion), and moral development can increase psychological resilience, reduce anxiety and stress levels, and strengthen students' mental and spiritual well-being. Teachers have a strategic role as Islamic counselors in building a holistic, balanced educational environment oriented towards the development of students' mental health and character.

Abstract

Conflict is a phenomenon that cannot be separated from organizational life, including in educational institutions. Differences in individual backgrounds, interests, leadership styles, and communication patterns often become factors that trigger the emergence of conflict within organizations. Therefore, understanding the sources of conflict and the levels of conflict is important to create a conducive organizational environment that supports the performance of organizational members. This study aims to examine and analyze previous studies related to the sources and levels of conflict in educational organizations using a literature review approach. The research method used is a systematic literature review by examining scientific articles relevant to the research topic. The search for articles was conducted through the Google Scholar database and the Publish or Perish (PoP) application by entering keywords related to the research topic. The criteria for the selected articles include scientific articles published in journals and conference proceedings within the last five years (2020–2025) and openly accessible to the public. Based on the initial search results, 50 articles were obtained. After the screening and selection process based on topic relevance, 5 scientific articles were selected for further analysis. The results of the review indicate that the sources of conflict in educational organizations generally originate from differences in interests, cultural backgrounds, leadership styles, ineffective communication, and work motivation. Conflicts can occur at various levels, namely intrapersonal conflict, interpersonal conflict, group conflict, and organizational conflict. Furthermore, psychological management and organizational leadership approaches play an important role in managing conflicts so that they do not hinder organizational performance and can even be utilized as a means to improve performance and the quality of working relationships within educational organizations.

Abstract

The increasingly complex development of educational organizations demands the integration of managerial approaches and psychological aspects in their management. Management psychology is important because it plays a role in understanding motivation, communication, leadership, and human resource well-being, which have a direct impact on the effectiveness of educational institutions. This article aims to analyze and synthesize research trends in management psychology in the educational context over the past five years and identify the dominant dimensions that contribute to improving organizational performance. The research questions focus on: (1) what are the trends and main focuses of management psychology studies in education; and (2) what dimensions are most dominant in improving the effectiveness of educational organizations. This study uses a systematic literature review approach through the Google Scholar database with the help of the Publish or Perish application using the keywords "management psychology," "educational organizations," "teacher motivation," and "organizational communication." From the initial 50 identified articles, five main articles were selected for in-depth analysis. The results of the study indicate three dominant themes: motivation and school effectiveness, organizational communication and teacher performance, and well-being and stress management. Overall, management psychology contributes significantly to improving the quality and sustainability of educational organizations. Further research is recommended to use a quantitative approach, mixed methods, or meta-analysis and integrate a digital transformation perspective.

Abstract

Kemajuan pendidikan memerlukan pengelolaan organisasi yang tidak hanya mencakup aspek administratif, tetapi juga memperhatikan aspek psikologi individu dalam institusi pendidikan. Psikologi manajemen merupakan pendekatan krusial untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, kinerja pendidik, dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Namun, penelitian di bidang ini masih tersebar dan tidak terintegrasi dengan baik, sehingga sintesis yang komprehensif masih kurang dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi perkembangan penelitian psikologi manajemen dalam konteks pendidikan serta mengetahui kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Fokus pertanyaan penelitian meliputi: (1) bagaimana perkembangan penelitian psikologi manajemen dalam sektor pendidikan selama lima tahun terakhir, dan (2) apa kontribusi psikologi manajemen dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan serta efektivitas pengelolaan institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode tinjauan pustaka. Data dikumpulkan dari Google Scholar dan aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP) menggunakan kata kunci psikologi manajemen, dibatasi pada artikel yang diterbitkan antara 2021 hingga 2026. Dari 30 artikel awal, disaring menjadi 26 artikel, kemudian diseleksi menjadi 5 artikel untuk dianalisis lebih mendalam. Temuan menunjukkan tiga tema sentral, yaitu penerapan psikologi manajemen dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran, peningkatan kualitas kerja guru dan suasana pendidikan, serta peningkatan kualitas pendidikan melalui kepemimpinan dan inovasi organisasi. Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa psikologi manajemen berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan institusi pendidikan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diharapkan dapat mengkaji penerapannya secara empiris dalam berbagai konteks institusi pendidikan.
