Abstract

Mastery of vocabulary, especially Arabic listening skills, is a basic ability that students must master in order to learn Arabic. Vocabulary mastery in listening skills in class VII MTs N 2 Kudus is still relatively low. Student enthusiasm and activity are still quite lacking due to several factors. Apart from that, there is a lack of media use by teachers. So students seem monotonous when learning Arabic in class. Therefore, there is a need for interactive media so that it can attract students interest in learning Arabic. One of them is by applying interactive power pointmedia to improve vocabulary mastery in Arabic listening skills for class VII MTs N2 Kudus. The type and design of this research are quantitative and quasiexperimental, with a pre-test-post-test nonequivalent control group design pattern.Data collection techniques use tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique is hypothesis testing. The research results show that the implementation of the use of interactive power points in learning activities to master vocabulary and Arabic listening skills in class VII MTs N 2 Kudus is quite effective. This is proven based on the test results, namely that in the control class, the average pre-test score was 64.25 and the average post-test score was 70.77. The experimental class had an average pre-test score of 66.19 and an average post-test score of 85.50. From the t-test calculation using SPSS, the t-calculated value for the experimental class obtained a significance value for the pre-test and post-test for the experimental class of 0.000, which means (sig < 0.05). This proves that there is an increase in the average of the pre-test and post-test results of the experimental class. This proves that there is an influence of Power Point media on the post-test results of the experimental class. So there was a rejection of Ho, and what was accepted was Ha, namely that the use of power point media was effective in mastering vocabulary in Arabic listening skills in class VII MTs N 2 Kudus.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in mathematical literacy skills based onthe PISA model among junior high school students in the Space and Shape contentarea in terms of gender. The research employed a quantitative comparativeapproach with an ex-post facto design. The subjects consisted of 29 eighth-gradestudents from SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Barat, comprising 16 male and 13 femalestudents. The research instrument was a set of five mathematical literacy test itemsbased on the PISA model focusing on Space and Shape. Data analysis began witha normality test using Shapiro-Wilk and a homogeneity of variance test usingLevene’s Test. The results showed that the data for female students were notnormally distributed (Sig. = 0.002), while the data for male students were normallydistributed (Sig. = 0.054), and both groups had homogeneous variances (Sig. =0.710). Therefore, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test was used to test thehypothesis. The result showed a significance value of 0.180 (p > 0.05), indicatingthat there is no significant difference in mathematical literacy skills between maleand female students in the Space and Shape content based on the PISA model.These findings suggest that gender is not a significant factor in differentiatingstudents' mathematical literacy abilities in this context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis berbagai studi yang berfokus pada pengembangan instrumen penilaian kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis 23 artikel penelitian nasional dan internasional yang terbit antara tahun 2019 hingga 2025. Proses seleksi dilakukan melalui tahapan identifikasi, penyaringan, kelayakan, dan sintesis menggunakan kriteria PRISMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar instrumen penilaian berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran sejarah dikembangkan menggunakan model Research and Development (R&D), dengan teknik validasi ahli dan uji reliabilitas yang melibatkan pendekatan kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Aspek berpikir kritis yang paling sering diukur meliputi interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Selain itu, tren terbaru menunjukkan penggunaan teknologi digital dan asesmen autentik berbasis proyek untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan instrumen penilaian yang kontekstual, valid, dan reliabel agar mampu mendukung pembelajaran sejarah yang berorientasi pada keterampilan abad ke-21.
