Abstract

This research aims to analyze KH Khoiron Syu'aib's da'wah strategy in supportingthe career transition of former commercial sex workers (PSK) in the formerBangunsari localization, Surabaya. The government's closure of Bangunsariprostitution localization had a significant impact on former prostitutes who losttheir livelihoods. In this context, da'wah plays an important role in providing moral,spiritual and practical support to help them transition to a more dignifiedprofession. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method toexplore the da'wah strategy implemented by KH Khoiron Syu'aib. Data wascollected through interviews with KH Khoiron Syu'aib, a former prostitute, andlocal community leaders. Direct observation and documentation were also carriedout to complete the data. The results of this research show that KH Khoiron Syu'aibuses a holistic and comprehensive da'wah approach, including spiritual aspects,skills development, economic empowerment and psychosocial support. Throughregular recitations, skills training and economic empowerment programs, KHKhoiron Syu'aib has succeeded in increasing the awareness and ability of formerprostitutes to switch to other, more dignified professions. Apart from that, thepsychosocial support provided also helps former prostitutes overcome social stigmaand increase their self-confidence. This research concludes that KH KhoironSyu'aib's da'wah strategy is effective in supporting the career transition of formerprostitutes in the former Bangunsari localization. A holistic and comprehensiveapproach is the key to success in changing the lives of former prostitutes andimproving their welfare. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference forsimilar empowerment programs in other regions, as well as contributing to thedevelopment of a more effective and sustainable da'wah model in overcoming thesocial and economic problems faced by former prostitutes in Indonesia.

Abstract

The more advanced the age then, the way of delivering the message also becomes more modern and follows the trend that evolves amongst society. The same is true of the preachers who have different methods so that their message can be accepted by their mad. In this rapid development of technology, many electronic media can be used as a means of distribution of fame like YouTube, Tik tok, Instagram, Facebook, and so on. This research was used to find out the method of praise of Ning Umi Laila in her YouTube video entitled "Mothers Luweh Pleased Studying Opo Rasan-rasan". In this process, the author uses qualitative research using methods of content analysis. Primary and secondary data collection techniques. The result of the study this time shows that Ning Umi Laila is one of the women who are still said to be fairly young, but even so, his teachings can be accepted in all categories because the teaching method used is the teaching methods bill of things that is the compatibility of behavior to be followed, Mauidzah Hasanah that is gentleness in speaking words, Bil Hikmah that is teaching the way of God by using wisdom, and the last one is his teaching while using Islamic songs and Sholawat as the method of teaching, it is done so that his teaches do not get bored and revive the spirit of the listeners (mad’u).

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the information system in buying and selling practices in case studies at the Taty Grosir online shop in Makassar. In the process of interacting with consumers, professionalism and a good management system are needed so that consumers can experience ease and comfort in transactions. The proliferation of online shops is a challenge for MSMEs to continue to innovate and be creative in making transactions with the support of information technology. The main thing that will be revealed in this research is how good and correct buying and selling transactions are related to Islamic values ??which have so far been neglected in online buying and selling. This research uses field research with qualitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The research results present findings that the buying and selling transaction management information system on the Taty Grosir online shop platform in Makassar is implemented through a series of steps in the buying and selling process, including sales, buyer identification, negotiation, implementation of buying and selling transactions, and delivery of goods. Apart from technical aspects, this research also highlights the values ??of da'wah related to Islamic ethical principles, especially in the context of buying and selling activities. The existence of these values ??is reflected in attitudes and behavior that reflect the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad, such as Sidiq (honest), amanah (trustworthy), tabligh (convey), and fathanah (intelligent and creative). Thus, this research not only focuses on technological aspects in information systems, but also describes how Islamic moral and ethical principles are reflected in the online buying and selling practices carried out by Taty Grosir in Makassar.

Abstract

This study explores the Maccera Tasi tradition in Bonepute Village, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, examining its intersection with Islam and local culture. Recently, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of South Sulawesi deemed this long-standing tradition as shirk, or polytheistic, asserting that it contradicts Islamic law. This declaration was made by the MUI’s fatwa commission following public reports about rituals involving offerings of livestock heads, such as cows, buffalo, or goats, or other food into the ocean. In response to these reports, the Regional MUI team conducted a field research whose findings were reported to the South Sulawesi MUI. This report served as the basis for the aforementioned announcement. While some perceive the Maccera Tasi practice as an expression of gratitude for the harvest, others label it as shirk (polytheism). The present study employed field research, utilizing qualitative descriptive analysis. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research participants included religious leaders, traditional leaders, community leaders and local government representatives from Bonepute. The findings of this research suggest that religion and local traditions can coexist, fostering social cohesion without infringing upon Islamic law. This harmonious coexistence encourages the Bonepute community, particularly fishermen, to express gratitude for the blessings bestowed by Allah SWT. This gratitude is manifested through prayer, the release of seeds, and marine fish food, which are interpreted as forms of environmental stewardship. Therefore, this study contends that the perception of the Maccera Tasi practice as polytheistic is inaccurate. Instead, this practice represents an Islamic expression of preserving local culture through a process of religious and cultural assimilation.

Abstract

Adolescents are a group that is vulnerable to experiencing various complex problems in various aspects of their lives. This research aims to explore the factors that influence adolescent problems and identify effective coping strategies. A qualitative approach was used in this research, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research results show that adolescent problems cover various aspects, such as mental disorders, family conflicts, negative relationships, drug use, and the inability to manage emotions. Factors contributing to these problems include the social environment, individual factors, and media influence. In addition, this research shows that the da'wah program implemented by IKPP positively contributes to preventing juvenile delinquency through various activities such as lectures, religious studies, and skills training. Apart from that, this program also pays special attention to strengthening family harmony through education about the importance of good communication between family members, understanding religious values, and fostering the role of parents in educating children. This research reveals that integrating da'wah and strengthening family harmony is a practical approach to preventing juvenile delinquency. This research implies the crucial role of community organizations such as IKPP in positively contributing to efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency through a holistic and integrated approach.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the application of the spiritual counseling approach in religious policies for handling Rohingya refugees.Rohingya refugees who have experienced trauma and psychological stress due to genocide and oppression in Myanmar need special assistance in recovering their mental health. A spiritual counseling approach, which integrates religious values in the counseling process, is considered effective for overcoming psychosocial problems faced by refugees. This study uses a literature study research method by collecting and analyzing various secondary sources such as books, journal articles, policy reports and official documents. The results of this research show that spiritual counseling can have a significant influence in recovering the mental health of Rohingya refugees by restoring their psychological function and strengthening their religious values. The implementation of spiritual counseling carried out by various institutions, such as UNHCR, IOM, and local religious organizations, hass hown a positive impact in reducing anxiety, depression and trauma experienced by refugees. In addition, the people of Aceh who have the same religious background as the Rohingya refugees provide strong support for this program. In conclusion, the spiritual counseling approach through religious policies is an effective strategy for psychosocial management of Rohingya refugees , especially in the context of mental health recovery. This research recommends increasing cooperation between governments, international organizations, and religious institutions to expand the reach and effectiveness of spiritual counseling programs for refugees.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap fenomena budaya Uang Panai dalam konteks negosiasi identitas mahasiswa/mahasiswi suku BugisMakassar di Yogyakarta, dalam konteks antara cinta dan gengsi. Sejumlah fenomena, mulai dari kawin lari, pembatalan pernikahan, tekanan psikologis, bunuh diri, pernikahan paksa, hingga sekadar menjadi tamu undangan, membuka pintu bagi penelitian ini untuk mengkaji bagaimana perempuan Bugis bernegosiasi mengenai identitas budaya mereka ketika berhadapan dengan rencana pernikahan atau saat mereka sudah menikah dalam lingkungan perantauan khususnya di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendalami fenomena Uang Panai dan menganalisisnya dengan menerapkan teori negosiasi identitas oleh Stella Ting-Toomey. Data-data penelitian diperoleh melalui pengamatan dan wawancara dengan informan kalangan mahasiswa/mahasiswi suku Bugis asli yang bermukim di Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan tiga temuan, yaitu: pertama, Uang Panai merupakan elemen budaya yang sangat dihormati oleh masyarakat suku Bugis Makassar sekaligus dipandang sebagai tanda penghargaan yang harus diberikan oleh perempuan Bugis ketika mereka hendak menikah; kedua, proses negosiasi identitas budaya Uang Panai sebagian besar diletakkan pada pundak perempuan Bugis, sementara peran laki-laki Bugis dalam proses ini jauh lebih terbatas; ketiga, bagi laki-laki yang ingin menikahi seorang perempuan Bugis, ia memiliki kewajiban mutlak untuk menyiapkan Uang Panai. Keputusan dua insan yang akan menuju jenjang perkawinan, modal cinta saja tidaklah mencukupi, tanpa pemenuhan Uang Panai, maka proses pernikahan tidak akan dapat terwujud.

Abstract

The life of the Pandowoharjo people in the framework of harmony has been going on for a long time. Pandowoharjo Village is 1 of 75 villages in Bantul district, which administratively consists of 16 hamlets and 94 RTs, with a population in 2023 of 22,818 people. In this village, the majority of people are Muslim, reaching 93%, Catholics 3%, Christians 1% and Hindu-Buddhists below 1%. However, people can live side by side without conflict and are able to construct religious coexistence in daily life. The aim of this research is to find out how education and political economy can build coexistence in society. The research method used is a qualitative method. The research results show that; 1) Education has an important role in building coexistence, this is to provide understanding and a basic foundation for society. So far, there are various religious organizations that are active in community religious activities, and there are also religious leaders who call for the importance of maintaining religious coexistence. 2) Political economy is an important sector in efforts to maintain a harmonious life. In Pendoharjo Village, the entire community can access various sectors, including economic, political and educational, regardless of religious background. This is proof that Pandowoharjo Village has been able to construct coexistence in all aspects of life.

Abstract

Prenatal education is an important aspect in preparing pregnant women holistically to face the process of pregnancy and childbirth. This study aims to examine the integration of gentle yoga with Islamic spiritual values as an approach in Islamic prenatal education. Gentle yoga, with a focus on gentle physical exercise, breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation, offers various benefits for the physical and emotional health of pregnant women. On the other hand, Islamic spiritual values emphasize the importance of maintaining physical and mental health and getting closer to Allah SWT. This study used a qualitative method with a literature study approach and in-depth interviews with pregnant women and Islamic scholars. Data were analyzed to understand the views and practices related to the integration of gentle yoga and spiritual education in the context of pregnancy. The results showed that gentle yoga integrated with Islamic spiritual values can improve the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of pregnant women. This practice helps pregnant women feel calm, patient, and close to Allah SWT, as well as strengthen gratitude and inner peace. The conclusion of this study confirms that Islamic prenatal education that combines gentle yoga and Islamic spiritual values offers an effective holistic approach to preparing pregnant women. The implementation of such prenatal education can provide comprehensive support for pregnant women, both physically, mentally, and spiritually. This study provides a significant contribution to the development of a prenatal education approach that is in accordance with Islamic teachings and beneficial for the health of pregnant women.
