Abstract

Learning the Quran is an integral part of religious education. However, challenges in efficiency often arise in the learning process. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to accelerate the learning and understanding of the Quran. On the other hand, it is important to recognize that excessive dependence on AI may potentially hinder human cognitive development. Therefore, a wise and cautious approach is necessary when utilizing AI. This research, through library research, aims to provide insights into ways to enhance the efficiency of Quranic learning by integrating AI into the learning process. The study considers the ethical and practical implications of using AI technology in religious education and evaluates its impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of Quranic learning. Additionally, this research identifies various opportunities and challenges in the utilization of AI. The findings indicate that integrating AI into Quranic learning not only improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process but also opens up new opportunities. The results of this research are expected to encourage broader adoption of AI technology within the educational system, particularly in the context of religious education. By strengthening the understanding of how best to utilize AI technology in Quranic learning, it is hoped that more effective and holistic approaches can be developed. These approaches will combine the advantages of technology with the spiritual needs and meaningfulness inherent in learning the Quran.

Abstract

Management Information System (MIS) is a system created to provide relevant information for managers who want to make decisions. For example, there is an application called SIAGA (religious teacher information and administration system) which is one of the SIM components that is being used in the religious ministry of Kediri district. This research aims to understand how SIM-based applications have helped the Islamic Religious Education (PAIS) section at the Ministry of Religion of Kediri Regency improve its administrative services. The research approach used is qualitative. The methods used in this research include interviews, observation and documentation. The conclusions of this research clearly show that the SIAGA application has the potential to improve administrative services in the PAIS Section located in the Kediri Regency Ministry of Religion.

Abstract

The use of the Madrasah Management Information System (EMIS) has become an integral part of the data processing process at the Kediri Regency Ministry of Religion. This research aims to optimize the use of EMIS in managing madrasa data. The research method involved data analysis, interviews and surveys conducted at a number of madrasas in Kediri Regency. The results of observations found that the implementation of EMIS at the Ministry of Religion in Kediri Regency was not optimal. Madrasah data does not correspond to real conditions and madrasah operators have difficulty operating EMIS because operators do not know the scheme for using EMIS correctly. This research suggests that madrasas consider the importance of EMIS data and complete the data on time to avoid delays in data collection.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the process of internalizing the values of local wisdom contained in the traditional Grebeg Songo-Songo ceremony in Trenggalek Regency, particularly in the field of education. The primary focus of this research is (1) to trace the history and origins of Grebeg Songo-Songo as a tradition of the Trenggalek community, (2) to identify the local wisdom values embedded in this traditional ceremony, and (3) to analyze how these values are internalized into the educational sector in Trenggalek. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies to collect data. The findings reveal that Grebeg Songo-Songo has deep historical roots as a form of appreciation from the Sumurup village community toward Tumenggung Wiraguna of Mataram for his efforts to repel a plague or epidemic in the past. The ceremony also embodies local wisdom values such as mutual cooperation, education, solidarity, and respect for nature. The internalization of these values in education is achieved through their integration into extracurricular activity curricula and collaboration between schools and local communities. These findings provide new insights into the importance of preserving local traditions as part of character building for students and cultural conservation in the modern era.

Abstract

Studi yang disusun dari laporan hasil PLP ini berorientasi pada cara guru menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif, efisien, dan kreatif bagi peserta didik. Model pembelajaran tersebut menjadi kunci utama bagi para guru untuk meningkatkan engagement (keterlibatan) peserta didik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam melalui team games tournament. Metode kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yakni kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kegiatan selama PLP ini menemukan bahwa keterlibatan peserta didik meningkat setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran team games tournament (TGT). Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan persentase pada setiap aspek keterlibatan peserta didik, yaitu, aspek mengikuti pembelajaran meningkat 18%, aspek mengajukan pertanyaan meningkat 40%, aspek menjawab pertanyaan meningkat 18%, aspek berpartisipasi dalam diskusi meningkat 50%, dan aspek menyelesaikan tugas meningkat 15%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran TGT terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam (PAI). Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran PAI agar peserta didik lebih aktif dan termotivasi saat proses belajar mengajar berlangsung.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi teori experiential learning John Dewey dengan konsep hadis tarbawi Rasulullah SAW dalam konteks pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis kepustakaan (library research), yakni menelaah karya-karya utama John Dewey seperti Experience and Education serta hadis-hadis Nabi yang mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan praktis. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada prinsip pengalaman (experience), refleksi (reflection), dan pembentukan kebiasaan (habit formation) dalam teori Dewey, yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan pendekatan Rasulullah dalam mendidik melalui keteladanan, pengalaman langsung, dan interaksi sosial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya titik temu konseptual antara experiential learning Dewey dan hadis tarbawi, terutama dalam pandangan bahwa pendidikan harus berbasis pengalaman nyata yang membentuk kesadaran moral dan intelektual peserta didik. Namun demikian, hadis tarbawi menawarkan dimensi spiritual-transendental yang tidak ditemukan dalam teori Dewey yang berlandaskan filsafat pragmatisme. Relevansi keduanya terhadap pengembangan PAI terletak pada pentingnya menyeimbangkan aspek pengalaman empiris dan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berorientasi pada transfer ilmu, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter dan kesadaran religius peserta didik.

Abstract

Online learning is an alternative to continue the education process during the pandemic. The declinein the quality of learning is caused by the delivery of material that only relies on applicationsonlinemeeting combined with presenting material through presentation slides. This method places studentsas listeners who tend to be passive because learning is less interactive. Therefore, by using theliterature study research method (library research), in this article we will explain how educators canutilize interactive multimedia to improve the quality of online learning. From the results of thisresearch, it was concluded that there are several interactive media models that can be utilized, suchas; 1) Tutorial Model; 2) Model Drills; 3) Simulation Model; and 4) Instructional Games Model. Ofthe four models, the instructional games model is likeKahoot, Educandy, Wordwall, become a modelthat is more popular with students. Thus, the recommendation to educators is that further efforts areneeded to improve the way material is delivered in online learning, taking into account students' needsand learning styles and practicing digital skills to be able to utilize multimedia so that the learningprocess can run more effectively and interactively.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE), particularly in Islamic history topics, continues to face challenges in enhancing student engagement and motivation to learn due to the content's abstract and narrative nature. Although Augmented Reality (AR) has the potential to provide more interactive learning experiences, its application remains largely limited to general use and has not been adequately integrated into IRE learning contexts. This study aims to develop and evaluate an AR-based learning medium, namely BioFold-AR, using the Assemblr Edu platform, to improve students’ learning motivation. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, combined with a quasi-experimental design. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Besuki Tulungagung, focusing on Islamic Cultural History material. Data were collected through expert validation, user response questionnaires, and a learning motivation instrument based on Keller’s ARCS model. The results indicate that the developed media meet the criteria of validity and practicality and are effective in significantly improving students’ learning motivation based on statistical analysis. The findings demonstrate that AR integration can enhance student engagement in IRE learning. This study offers a novel contribution by integrating low-tech AR (Assemblr Edu) with the ARCS motivational framework, thereby bridging the gap between technological accessibility and the internalization of religious values in the development of more adaptive IRE learning media. In addition, this media enables IRE teachers without programming backgrounds to independently design and develop learning media.

Abstract

English is a language that the whole world has started to learn. Thus the language is also called an international language. In addition, this language has become one of the subjects taught to students in schools, institutions up to universities. Song media will motivate and increase students' learning interest in order to create a pleasant learning atmosphere so that students can understand the material easily. The purpose of this research is to improve English learning methods through song media. The results of this study are that learning English through songs can be a powerful means of improving students' memory and ability to speak English. Song media also influences students' pronunciation and listening skills. this can be proven by the ease with which songs are followed and remembered by students so that the language will stick with itself.
