Abstract

Abstract

PeduliLindungi is a COVID-19 tracking application with a QR Code feature officially used for contact tracing in Indonesia. District General Hospital (RSUD) Tugurejo Semarang already has a QR Code Scan to enter the building. However, many patients have not used to utilize the scanner. Therefore, the researcher aimed to determine the acceptance and use of the PeduliLindungi app based on patients' digital literacy competence at RSUD Tugurejo, Semarang City. The research was descriptive and distributed questionnaires to 100 outpatients. The results showed that 41% of outpatients could use social media to communicate, and 31% used the internet to find health information. 54% of patients strongly agree that PeduliLindungi helped control Covid-19. The app's acceptance and use were mainly in patients aged 18–27. Patients with education who did not graduate from high school had the lowest average usage, 51.29. The difference in digital literacy competency scores between female and male patients was relatively high, namely 136.6 in women and 124.46 in men. The average digital literacy competence in the expert category was 61.05. Education regarding the PeduliLindungi app is necessary, especially for patients in the non-productive age group.

Abstract

Abstract

The journey to personalize breast cancer therapy increasingly navigates the complex landscape of somatic TP53 mutations, the most frequent genetic drivers of this disease. Moving beyond a simple prognostic badge, we now understand these mutations create a spectrum of clinical behaviors, deeply influenced by their specific functional impact and, critically, by their genetic companions. A systematic literature review was conducted across three major electronic databases: ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and Scopus. The search was restricted to peer-reviewed journal articles published in English between 2021 and 2024 to ensure the inclusion of recent evidence. The confluence of TP53 and PIK3CA mutations stands out as a devastating synergy that heralds a tumor phenotype with profound resistance to common chemotherapy regimens, especially taxanes, and the direst survival outcomes. This genetic context also subtly reshapes responses to HER2-targeted drugs, revealing that TP53's influence is both powerful and context-dependent. A more nuanced profiling, one that accounts for these critical genetic interactions, is no longer a future aspiration but a present necessity. These findings collectively advocate for the integration of comprehensive molecular profiling, including nuanced TP53 and PIK3CA assessment, into clinical decision-making.

Abstract

Abstract: Female Athlete Triad (FAT) Syndrome is a critical health issue among female athletes, with a prevalence of 40–60%; however, awareness and early screening remain limited. This community service initiative aims to implement digital health screening for the prevention of FAT Syndrome to promote holistic health among female athletes. The activity was conducted in a hybrid format through online classes and offline classes providing guidance on the use of digital screening for 15 female athletes. Evaluation was conducted via a questionnaire assessing responses to the facilitator, the digital screening, and the activity methods. The results showed that all participants (100%) rated the digital screening as easy to use and were satisfied with the facilitator’s guidance. The offline class method (98%) was found to be more engaging than the online class (89.8%). However, 67.3% of participants rated the content of the digital screening as incomplete, particularly the nutrition and bone health features. Future development should include household portion sizes (HPS) and portion-measuring images in the nutrition feature, as well as streamline the questions in the bone health feature. Studies with longer observation periods and larger samples are needed to evaluate long-term effectiveness.
