Abstract

This research was motivated by field observations at MAN 2 Payakumbuh City in October 2021, which found that most students did not perform dhuha prayer. The reasons found include lack of facilities such as clean mukena, laziness, and lack of understanding of the virtues of dhuha prayer. This habit shows the low awareness of students of the importance of familiarizing dhuha prayer as part of daily life. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of MAN 2 Payakumbuh students as key informants, and PAI teachers as supporting informants. The results showed that PAI teachers' efforts in developing students' disciplinary character through habituation of dhuha prayers included the application of punishments such as ruku for several minutes and additional assignments, such as memorizing verses of the Qur'an. In addition, teachers provide motivation, advice, and good examples. Support from the school, teachers, and student guardians is a supporting factor for the success of this program. However, there are obstacles such as differences in student characters, lack of collaboration between teachers, and lack of parental support. One of the main obstacles is the lack of understanding provided by other teachers about the importance of dhuha prayer, which results in low participation.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how Islamic Religious Education teachers at SDN 02 Maek, Limapuluh Kota Regency contribute to the implementation of mandatory student prayers. Data was collected for this research using qualitative descriptive methodology through observation, interviews and documentation. Even though elementary school learning hours are limited to performing midday prayers in congregation at PAI schools, teachers still carry out their role in helping students perform obligatory prayers, according to research findings. This is what happened to the Islamic Religious Education Teacher at SDN 02 Maek. At SDN 01 Maek, PAI professors participate in student prayer in several ways, including: The instructor provides information about prayer and applies it to students' actual situations. Islamic Religious Education Teachers convey information by connecting what they have learned so far with what students already know. Religious Education in Islam Teachers inspire students to participate in obligatory prayers by providing examples and inspiration regarding the importance of doing so. Religious Education in Islam By requiring children to pray every day at every school level, teachers provide direction and guidance. Religious Education in Islam Teachers educate by encouraging students to understand the meaning of each movement in prayer. Teaching the Islamic faith Instructors work with parents of students. Religious Education in Islam Instructors assess their students' ability to perform the required prayers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and examine the motivation of students at Rumah Tahfidz Tuo Surau Jorong Ladang Tibarau Nagari Koto Tangah District to memorize the Al-Qur’an using the wahdah method. Kamang Tilatang. This study employed a descriptive qualitative methodology, gathering data via documentation, interviews, and observation. The study’s findings demonstrate that two internal and external elements encourage pupils to memorize the Al-Qur’an through the wahdah method. Talent is the primary internal component. Students possess skill in memorizing the Al-Qur’an through the wahdah method because they have a passion for learning letters by heart. A brief correspondence. When employing the wahdah method to memorize the Al-Qur’an, pupils are motivated because of them who declare their desire for Allah SWT’s mercy and intervention. Students at Rumah Tahfidz Tuo Surau possess varying levels of intelligence when it comes to memorization of the Al-Qur’an. The availability of a tahfidz instructor is an external aspect; the teacher stays at the tahfidz home constantly and helps students memorize the Al-Qur’an. When learning the Qur’an, pupils are given certain time to memorize it, allowing them to focus more on the Qur’an memorization process. Factors related to the home environment, such as parents’ genuine support for their children’s adherence to the tahfidz of the Even among students who recite memorization recitations and recitations on memorization, it turns out that many students have not completed the memorization deposit according to what has been determined when it comes to the Koran, even with the right time to memorize and having targeted memorization.

Abstract

Akhlak merupakan suatu sikap tingkah laku baik atau buruk yang tertanam didalam jiwa seseorang. Akhlak terbagi menjadi dua yaitu akhlak terpuji dan akhlak tercela. Agama Islam menyuruh umatnya untuk senantiasa berbuat baik terhadap sesama. Akhlak dapat dipelajari melalui keteladanan yang dapat ditiru dari tokoh-tokoh yang memiliki kepribadian yang mulia seperti kepribadian khalifah Umar bin Khattab. Khalifah Umar bin Khattab merupakan sahabat nabi yang memiliki watak keras sebelum masuk Islam, namun setelah masuk Islam berubah menjadi pribadi yang taat kepada Allah dan memiliki pribadi yang mulia. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya rasa menghargai dan menghormati pada diri seorang siswa serta kurangnya sikap jujur dan sikap sopan santun pada diri siswa. Adapun siswa kelas IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah mempelajari tentang materi keteladanan Khalifah Umar bin Khattab, yang mana kepribadian Khalifah Umar bin Khattab dapat diteladani dan dicontoh oleh siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai akhlak dalam kepribadian khalifah Umar bin Khattab pada materi Akidah Akhlak dan penerapannya pada akhlak siswa di MTsN 2 Kota Pariaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dapat dijelaskan bahwa siswa sudah menerapkan dan meneladani kepribadian Khalifah Umar bin Khattab yang meliputi sikap takut akan azab Allah swt, sikap rendah hati, sikap santun, sikap dermawan dan sikap sederhana. Penerapan nilai-nilai akhlak pada siswa dilakukan dengan bimbingan dan arahan dari guru serta pembiasaan pada diri siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa sudah menerapkan nilai-nilai akhlak dalam kepribadian Khalifah Umar bin Khattab seperti sikap takut akan azab Allah swt, sikap rendah hati, sikap santun, sikap dermawan dan sikap sederhana.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to be able to see how the comparison of their activeness in carrying out the teaching and learning process. This research uses the type of field research (field research) with the type of comparative quantitative research. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed to several respondents. Furthermore, the data analysis technique performs steps such as finding the mains of each variable, looking for the standard deviation of each variable, and also looking for the t test. The results showed that the average PAI learning activity of students with an MTsN educational background was 93.09 with a percentage of 93% and students with a junior high school background of 94.09 with a percentage of 94% with a difference or comparison of a percentage of 1.09%. students with a junior high school background are more active than students with an MTs background, this is evidenced by the t test obtained by 1.65, which is greater than the t table with a significant level of 5% with a magnitude of 0.288 or 1.65 > 0.288 this result also shows that students with a junior high school background are more active than students with an MTs background.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran hal tersebut terjadi karena belum bervariasinya model pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar sehingga proses pembelajaran masih bersifat theacher centerd, Dimana peserta didik hanya mendengarkan dan memperhatikan guru tanpa adanya feedback, sehingga peserta didik merasa jenuh, lelah dan bosan sehinga mereka banyak keluar masuk kelas, rebut bahkan mengganggu temannya Ketika guru menjelaskan materi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan itu maka perlu adanya Upaya untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model snowball throwing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Snowball Throwing terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran SKI di kelas VIII Mts Ponpes Syekh Ibrahim Kumpulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain Non Equevalent control group design penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 variabel yaitu model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing (X) sebagai variabel bebas (Independent Variabel) Keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran SKI (Y) sebagai variabel terikat (Dependent Variabel). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar angket yang di isi oleh siswa. Jumlah populasi penelitian ini 76 orang peserta didik dan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 51 orang peserta didik dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keaktifan belajar yang signifikan siswa kelas VIII 2 ( kelas eksperimen) dengan materi Daullah Mamluk Pelanjut Kebudayaan Islam dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain pre-test sebesar 65,76 setelah di laksanakan model snowball throwing kenaikan hasil rata rata N-gain sebesar 81,56 dengan rata rata N-gain total sebesar 0,45 di kategori sedang, sedangkan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model konvensional hanya mengalami peningkatan keaktifan yang rendah terlihat dari rata-rata N-gain pre-test sebesar 63,84 setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakana model konvensional nilai rata-rata postest hanya sebesar 70,83 dan rata- rata N-gain total sebesar 0,12 dengan kategori sedang, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model snowball throwing keaktifan siswa menjadi lebih baik dari pada penerapan model konvensional. Hal ini berdasarkan data dengan menggunakan uji independent sample T test sehingga, terdapat nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa nilai N-gain kelas Kontrol dan N-gain kelas Eksperimen membuktikan Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima: adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara keaktifan belajar siswa melalui penerapan model snowball throwing pada mata Pelajaran SKI di MTS Ponpes Syekh Ibrahim Kumpulan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems related to the implementation of learning evaluations by PAI teachers on inclusive students, that in carrying out learning in the classroom teachers still often equate evaluations between inclusive students and ordinary students. Ideally, in carrying out evaluations on inclusive students, teachers must design learning that will be able to accommodate inclusive students. The aim of this research is to find out how PAI learning evaluation is carried out for inclusive students at SDN 04 Birugo. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that PAI teachers have carried out learning evaluations for inclusive students in PAI subjects by modifying learning with indicators a. Extended assessment time, b. The questions used are different from children in general c. Evaluation is carried out in certain places, individually. d. Graduation standards and minimum graduation competencies (KKM) remain the same e. The reporting system uses the same system found in the Dapodik application. The automatic grade promotion system and the diploma system are the same.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of dormitory caregivers in fostering the morals of students at the Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Islamic Boarding School, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency. Through this type of research that uses a qualitative descriptive approach that explains the strategy of dormitory caregivers in fostering the morals of students at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Kecematan Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency. and observation for supporting data from interview results. The results of this study indicate that: first, the strategy of the hostel supervisor instills student discipline in congregational prayers at the Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Islamic Boarding School: a. the hostel supervisor makes rules in congregational prayers. b the supervisor of the hostel gives sanctions or punishments in congregational prayers. c the hostel supervisor gives a warning or reprimand. second, the obstacles faced by students so that they are negligent in carrying out congregational prayers at the Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Islamic Boarding School a. lack of facilities and infrastructure in the dormitory b. low student interest in carrying out congregational prayers c. lack of firmness within students to refuse friends' invitations not to pray congregation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyse the cultivation of religious character through the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at MTsN 1 Lima Puluh Kota. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the tahfidz programme in superior VIII grade has had a positive impact on the formation of students' religious character. The cultivation of religious character is carried out through various methods, such as exemplary teachers, habituation, advice, and punishment. Exemplary teachers, such as examples of polite behaviour and dressing according to sharia, provide good examples to students. Habituation, such as praying together before learning and praying zuhur in congregation, forms positive habits in worship. Brief advice from teachers helps students understand the importance of discipline and obedience in religion. Meanwhile, punishment, such as repeating one page of memorisation backwards, is used as an effort to correct the behaviour of students who do not comply with the rules. This study also shows that the Qur'an memorisation programme not only improves students' ability to memorise the Qur'an, but also forms a better person in worship and morals. However, there are still some obstacles in the implementation of this programme, such as students' lack of awareness of religious obligations and lack of religious attitudes. Therefore, it is recommended that the tahfidz programme continue to be improved and supported by all relevant parties to achieve the goal of forming better religious characters in students.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Ar-Rasyid Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands, to overcome problems in learning the Al-Qur'an, especially the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters, recognition of dignity, and the science of recitation. Teachers try to guide children in reading the Koran correctly, assisted by the cooperation of parents at home. The teacher uses the question and answer method to motivate students to understand and instill the laws of recitation. This research is qualitative field research with descriptive methods. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using the steps of collecting, editing, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing was carried out through triangulation. The research results show that the tahfidz teacher's strategy in improving Al-Qur'an reading includes utilizing time to read the Al-Qur'an before learning, muroja'ah strategies, and implementing systematic learning procedures. Teachers also carry out final assessments every semester. Implementation techniques include the jama' method for collective memorization and the Iqra' method for reading practice. The Tahfidz teacher evaluation strategy shows the existence of supporting factors and investors, such as laziness and donor coordination between the head of the foundation, teachers and students. The solutions implemented include good time management, motivation and support from TPA, teachers and parents so that students are more enthusiastic about learning the Koran at TPA Ar-Rasyid.
