In the world of education, self-esteem is a very valuable basic asset. Respecting yourself appropriately is very important in order to make your education successful at school. Therefore, it is important for students to have high self-esteem. The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence performance feedback and social interactions have on students' self-esteem at Raudhatul Jannah High School, Payakumbuh City. This research is quantitative research with an associative type. The population in this study were students in class X and XI. Data processing techniques use data quality tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression methods, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS26 software. The classical assumption test resulted that the data was normally distributed, there was no multicollinearity, and there were no symptoms of heteroscedasticity. The results of the t test on the performance feedback variable (X1) on self-esteem (Y) with a calculated t value of 2.425 > t table 1.979 has a positive direction and a significance value of 0.001 proves that there is a significant influence between performance feedback on self-esteem so that Ha1 is accepted. The results of the t test on the social interaction variable (X2) on self-esteem (Y) with a calculated t value of 3.130 > t table 1.979 has a positive direction and a significance value of 0.002 proves that there is a significant influence between social interaction on self-esteem so that Ha2 is accepted. The F test shows that the variables performance feedback (X1) and social interaction (X2) have a significant effect on self-esteem (Y) with a calculated f value of 10.428 > f table 3.07 and the correlation significance value obtained is 0.000 ˂ 0.005 so that Ha3 is accepted. The R2 value shows that the contribution of performance feedback and social interaction together to self-esteem is 0.146 (14.6%).

Abstract

In-service teacher education has an important role in facing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, including helping teachers prepare to face new challenges arising from the pandemic, improving the quality of learning, building online teaching skills, supporting students with ideals and hopes and building communities Study. This research aims to reveal the phenomenon of stress experienced by students while undergoing a professional teacher training program as well as the indications and causes in terms of class, age, gender and place of origin. The type of research is quantitative comparative, the population consists of 418 people and 180 people as research samples were taken using purposive sampling. The results of the research show that Madrasah and PPG PAI, there is no significant difference in stress, nor in terms of age, no significant difference, the 43–49-year age group has a higher average stress score compared to others, with the average stress score was 71.10. Judging from the place of origin, there are differences in the stress felt by students. The average stress score for students in West Sumatra is higher than in the provinces of North Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, Aceh, Central Java and South Sulawesi, as well as in terms of gender.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that occurs in students who experience high levels of anxiety, which tends to reduce the effectiveness of problem solving, because individuals have difficulty concentrating, experience memory decline, and tend to avoid problems. This study aims to determine the extent of anxiety’s influence on the problem solving of final year guidance and counseling students. The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, with a stratified random sampling technique. The study pupulation consisted of 327 students, with a sample size of 126 students. The instruments used in this study were anxiety and problem solving quetionnaires developed by the research. Data analysis used to test the research hypothesis included simple linear regression, the f test, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the data analysis showed a significant effect of anxiety on student problem solving, wut a significance value of 11.6%. this indicates that anxiety contributes to the problem solving abilities of final year students, albeit in the weak category.
