Abstract

Guidance and counseling are activities that are closely related to everyday human life, where every individual, including students, faces various problems. In the school environment, the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very important in helping students overcome academic and personal problems. SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur is the focus of this study to analyze the implementation of guidance and counseling and the challenges faced in its implementation. This study aims to describe the implementation of guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze problems that often arise in the implementation of guidance and counseling services at the school. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research informants consisted of guidance and counseling teachers and a student who had consulted. The results of the study showed that one of the main problems in the implementation of guidance and counseling is the perception of students who consider guidance and counseling teachers as peers. This affects the effectiveness of the services provided, thus impacting the quality of guidance received by students. Guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur requires more attention to understanding the role of guidance and counseling teachers so that the relationship that is established remains professional and effective in solving student problems.

Abstract

In social life, ethical behavior is very important. This is because, the interaction between individuals in society is strongly influenced by ethical values. Basically, it can be said that the awareness of all members of society to behave ethically can build a bond and social harmony. However, we cannot expect everyone to behave ethically. Ethical behavior can be formed from good self-control, especially control from within the individual himself or is called an internal locus of control so that unethical individual behavior can be controlled. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between internal locus of control and ethical behavior of employees in organizations. With the role of this internal locus of control, it is expected that the ethical behavior of employees within the organization can be well formed.

Abstract

Poverty and unemployment are two things that are closely related to each other. Macroeconomically, this will have an impact on the level of economic growth of a country. To reduce it, various efforts are needed starting with the provision of jobs so that the unemployment rate decreases and has an impact on increasing income levels. Unemployment efforts can be overcome in two ways, namely providing job opportunities and creating independent businesses. The effectiveness of overcoming unemployment is carried out by creating independent businesses which are realized by the emergence of new entrepreneurs. The existence of entrepreneurship is preceded by entrepreneurial intentions. The application of the concept of entrepreneurship begins with the intention. This paper will review the entrepreneurial intention and the constituent elements and their relationship to the development of consumer households.

Abstract

Community-based conservation has become an important strategy to preserve the environment and improve the socio-economic welfare of local communities. This research aims to analyze the role of local communities in natural resource management as well as the factors that influence the effectiveness of community-led conservation initiatives. Using a literature review approach, this research evaluates how active community involvement in conservation can improve ecological and economic resilience. The results show that community-based conservation practices, such as forest management and sustainable ecotourism, are able to maintain biodiversity and provide economic benefits to local communities. The integration of traditional knowledge and scientific approaches has been shown to improve the effectiveness of natural resource management. Many challenges remain, including limited resources, lack of legal recognition, and economic pressures that can hinder the sustainability of conservation programs. More supportive policies, such as recognizing community ownership rights to conservation areas and providing economic incentives, are needed to ensure the sustainability of these initiatives. Partnerships between communities, government, non-governmental organizations and the private sector can strengthen communities' capacity to manage natural resources sustainably. With the right support, community-based conservation can be an effective solution to achieve a balance between environmental protection and improved community welfare.

Abstract

Identifikasi berdasarkan pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan dan motivasi intrinsik terhadap intensi motivasi untuk berwirausaha mahasiswa menjadi tujuan studi empirisnya. Data penelitian yang terkumpul diperoleh dari beberapa mahasiswa yang telah mengambil mata kuliah kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi Kota Surabaya. Penelitian kuantitatif melalui metode survei menjadi pendekatan penelitian ini agar data dari 100 responden dapat dikumpulkan. Sampel ditentukan dengan cara accidental sampling. Selanjutnya data yang telah diperoleh akan dianalisis ke tahap analisis regresi linier berganda. Studi ini dapat mengungkapkan bahwa dari pengaruh yang diberikan oleh pendidikan kewirausahaan dan motivasi intrinsik ternyata signifikan untuk membentuk intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa. Temuan ini bagi perguruan tinggi berkontribusi terhadap kurikulum pendidikan kewirausahaan yang semakin berkembang dan motivasi mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha juga lebih kuat.

Abstract

Kunggulan kompetitif telah menjadi fokus utama bagi banyak organisasi yang ingin bertahan dan berkembang di lingkungan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif. Sementara itu, MSDM memainkan peran kunci sebagai pengelola tenaga kerja perusahaan dan memastikan bahwa sumber daya manusia digunakan secara efektif. Studi ini bermaksud untuk memriksa pengaruh antara kunggulan kompetitif dan manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM) dengan kinerja perusahaan. Metodologi penelitian ini melibatkan desain kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari 90 karyawan sektor publik dan swasta di Kota Surabaya. Desain purposive sampling sebagai pengukuran pada teknik pengambilan sampel di studi ini. Analisis statistik dipergunakan sebagai evaluasi pengaruh diantara variabel-variabel ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kunggulan kompetitif dan kinerja perusahaan. Kunggulan kompetitif, yang mencakup strategi bisnis, inovasi, dan pelayanan pelanggan, memiliki kemampuan untuk memberikan keunggulan yang bersaing kepada perusahaan dalam lingkungan pasar yang penuh persaingan. Kemudian hasil antara MSDM yang efektif dan kinerja perusahaan yang baik memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan. Keefisienan MSDM memberikan dukungan strategi bisnis terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi keberbakatan siswa di SMP Assa’adah melalui metode observasi dan wawancara. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menggali potensi siswa di berbagai bidang, seperti olahraga, seni, dan teknologi. Beberapa siswa menunjukkan prestasi luar biasa, seperti juara nasional dalam cabang silat, bakat dalam seni musik tradisional, serta kemampuan unggul di bidang komputer. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang tersedia, seperti pramuka, futsal, dan taekwondo, berperan penting dalam mendukung pengembangan bakat siswa. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan tantangan berupa keterbatasan fasilitas dan kurangnya rasa percaya diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, dukungan sekolah dan guru menjadi faktor kunci dalam memaksimalkan potensi siswa. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kerja sama antara guru, siswa, dan sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung keberbakatan siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an employee attitude that must be observed by every user of human resources as an organizational mover. This is important to do so that workers get satisfaction and feel that their expectations for the organization can be fulfilled. Factors that cause job satisfaction must be analyzed in order to become the basis of company policy. This study intends to determine the role of work experience, supervision, and career development on job satisfaction. The population in this study are workers in one of the companies in the city of Gresik with a total of 76 people. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression test. This study concludes that all variables have a partial and simultaneous significant effect on job satisfaction variables. Experience, supervision and career development can be used to develop worker satisfaction. This is expected by every leader so that a leader needs to understand what must be done to create employee job satisfaction. Leaders should always consider the policies made, taking into account the aspects that give rise to employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Consciously or not, a conflict can occur anywhere and in any sudden situation, an indication that may indicate that when a communication and information system does not meet a goal, it can result in a misunderstanding between two or more parties. Conflict is a conflict between winning or losing both between individuals and within a group. Conflict can also result in triggering a dispute between fellow members of the student council. However, besides the size of the problem of the conflict itself, conflict can also be resolved in many ways. For example, by choosing a middle way, and communicating well, and being calm between one another. The purpose of the research contains conflict in the behavior of an organization and the model of the way of resolution used by the student council members at SMA Negri 4 Jember in dealing with conflict, along with performance and productivity organization after the conflict at SMA Negeri 4 Jember City. This research is qualitative by using a naturalistic approach. Data collected through an observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The data source consisted of the student council president and several student council members who knew the conditions of the conflict that occurred. The results of the research produced a result, that mediating conflicts, explaining the importance of a teamwork between osis members, emphasizing shared interests, conducting team building sessions, etc. are not easy enough to resolve a conflict that occurs. Therefore, transformational leadership is needed through an emotional intelligence approach, prioritizing a work ethic. In order for a similar conflict that will not occur again, the osis members must have a strong commitment, provide an opportunity, and encourage all elements of the osis members at SMA Negeri 4 Jember to work together on the basis of a noble value system, so that they are willing and without coercion, optimally participate in achieving ideal goals within the organization.
