Abstract

The digitization of the store industry has become an increasingly important trend in today's digital era, and internet marketing orientation and innovation are considered key factors in achieving competitive advantage in a digital environment. This study aims to analyze the role of internet marketing orientation and innovation in digitizing the shop industry and its impact on marketing performance. This study used a quantitative analysis method using primary data collected through a survey of shop owners and managers in Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The research sample consists of 50 shops that have carried out the digitization process. Sampling used accidental sampling which was then analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that internet marketing orientation and innovation have a significant positive effect on marketing performance in the digitalization of the tavern industry. More specifically, the effective use of social media and e-commerce platforms increases the visibility and accessibility of stores, thereby increasing the number of customers and sales volume. In addition, product and process innovation in store digitization can increase differentiation and operational efficiency, which in turn affects customer satisfaction and business profits.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of environmental knowledge, quality of accessibility, attractiveness, and social media on the intention to return to an Eco Green Park tourist destination. The type of data used is primary data which is quantitative in nature. Primary data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to tourists visiting Eco Green Park. Respondents amounted to 100 people. The collected data were analyzed using statistical methods such as multiple linear regression. The results showed that environmental knowledge and accessibility quality had a significant effect on the intention to return. Understanding of the environment and good accessibility experiences can influence tourists' perceptions of destinations. For the next result, attractiveness has a significant effect on the intention to visit again. The last shows significant results between social media and intention to revisit, because information and reviews spread on social media platforms can influence tourist perceptions and decisions.

Abstract

Dalam era bisnis yang modern, di mana lingkungan kerja cenderung tidak menentu, makas diperlukan para karyawan memiliki keterampilan untuk efektif mengelola aspek emosional dan menghadapi tekanan yang timbul seiring dengan pelaksanaan tugas-tugas pekerjaan mereka. Kecerdasan emosional dan stres kerja menjadi dua elemen utama yang memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan stres kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menyiratkan bahwa adanya kecerdasan emosional dan stres kerja berperan signifikan dalam menentukan kinerja karyawan. Dalam kesimpulannya, kesadaran akan peran kunci kecerdasan emosional dan manajemen stres dalam membentuk kinerja karyawan harus dijadikan dasar untuk pengembangan kebijakan sumber daya manusia yang efektif, tujuannya adalah menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang sehat dan produktif bagi semua anggota organisasi.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and the internet has had a significant impact on marketing, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Digital marketing is a more promising option because it allows potential customers to get complete information about products and make transactions online. Although it is still considered less important by the players, this is due to the need for specialized skills related to mastering information technology in order to reach a larger target market. Previously, the sale of Makaroni New Asep required consumers to come directly to see the products they wanted to buy. The purpose of this research is to provide an understanding to the owner of Makaroni New Asep Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) regarding the implementation of digital marketing strategies. In an effort to provide guidance to Makaroni New Asep Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) regarding the application of Digital Marketing as a product marketing strategy, this activity involves several stages, including: (1) introduction to the use of social media; (2) introduction to the marketplace platform; and (3) the process of receiving orders and shipping goods. The results of this service show that New Asep Macaroni MSMEs now have a significant presence on social media and the marketplace. MSME owners also gained a better understanding of digital marketing and managed social media and marketplace platforms effectively. Thus, this community service contributes to increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs in facing the digital marketing era.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling are activities that are closely related to everyday human life, where every individual, including students, faces various problems. In the school environment, the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very important in helping students overcome academic and personal problems. SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur is the focus of this study to analyze the implementation of guidance and counseling and the challenges faced in its implementation. This study aims to describe the implementation of guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze problems that often arise in the implementation of guidance and counseling services at the school. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research informants consisted of guidance and counseling teachers and a student who had consulted. The results of the study showed that one of the main problems in the implementation of guidance and counseling is the perception of students who consider guidance and counseling teachers as peers. This affects the effectiveness of the services provided, thus impacting the quality of guidance received by students. Guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur requires more attention to understanding the role of guidance and counseling teachers so that the relationship that is established remains professional and effective in solving student problems.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, media sosial memainkan peran penting dalam strategi pemasaran bisnis, dan TikTok telah muncul sebagai salah satu platform yang paling efektif dalam membangun branding bagi bisnis digital. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran konten TikTok dalam mengembangkan branding serta dampaknya terhadap profitabilitas bisnis. Dengan jumlah pengguna yang terus meningkat, TikTok menawarkan peluang besar untuk menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas dan meningkatkan keterlibatan konsumen melalui konten kreatif, interaktif, dan mudah disebarkan. Artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana konten yang relevan dan menarik dapat memperkuat citra brand, membangun hubungan emosional dengan konsumen, dan menciptakan loyalitas. Selain itu, TikTok juga memungkinkan bisnis untuk melakukan promosi produk atau layanan dengan biaya yang relatif rendah, namun memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap visibilitas dan penjualan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dan analisis tren pemasaran terkini, artikel ini menunjukkan bagaimana TikTok dapat menjadi alat yang sangat menguntungkan bagi bisnis untuk meningkatkan branding dan mencapai profitabilitas yang lebih tinggi. Kesimpulannya, TikTok bukan hanya sekadar platform hiburan, tetapi juga menjadi kekuatan utama dalam pemasaran digital yang dapat memaksimalkan potensi keuntungan bagi pelaku bisnis.

Abstract

While there has been extensive research on Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) in multimodal textbooks, most studies primarily focus on analyzing culture and gender. However, the investigation of Character Education using CDA still needs to be more extensive. To fill this void, this study aims to examine the representation of Character Education in secondary-level English textbooks in Indonesia, following one of the goals of the latest curriculum to make each individual have character and behave following the values of Profil Pelajar Pancasila (The Pancasila Students’ Profiles). To address this issue, this study conducted a critical discourse analysis by adopting Kress and Van Leuween's (2006) Visual Grammar Theory to analyze the visual image and Halliday’s (1975) and Matthiessen’s (2004) Systemic Functional Analysis (SFL) to elucidate the textual representation of the character education in the selected EFL-multimodal textbook. This research focuses on Thomas Lickona's (1996) six fundamental components of good character: caring, honesty, fairness, accountability, and respect for self and others. This study can assist educators in incorporating character education into their teaching techniques and provide them with the essential skills and information to foster the development of positive character traits in their students.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an employee attitude that must be observed by every user of human resources as an organizational mover. This is important to do so that workers get satisfaction and feel that their expectations for the organization can be fulfilled. Factors that cause job satisfaction must be analyzed in order to become the basis of company policy. This study intends to determine the role of work experience, supervision, and career development on job satisfaction. The population in this study are workers in one of the companies in the city of Gresik with a total of 76 people. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression test. This study concludes that all variables have a partial and simultaneous significant effect on job satisfaction variables. Experience, supervision and career development can be used to develop worker satisfaction. This is expected by every leader so that a leader needs to understand what must be done to create employee job satisfaction. Leaders should always consider the policies made, taking into account the aspects that give rise to employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) terhadap perkembangan ekonomi serta peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kota Surabaya. Metode yang diterapkan adalah analisis literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif, merujuk pada berbagai sumber sekunder seperti artikel ilmiah, buku, dan laporan kebijakan. Temuan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa UMKM memiliki peranan penting dalam menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, mengurangi angka kemiskinan, dan meningkatkan pendapatan warga. Pemerintah Kota Surabaya telah meluncurkan berbagai inisiatif untuk memberdayakan UMKM melalui pelatihan, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, serta dukungan dari komunitas. Namun, UMKM masih mengalami berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan modal, kurangnya akses informasi, serta rendahnya sistem pemasaran dan teknologi
