Abstract

The growth of fresh fruit consumption in Indonesia, especially bananas, is influenced by public awareness of health and product quality. However, there is a problem in the form of a decline in banana consumption in the city of Surabaya during the period 2021–2024. This study aims to identify consumer characteristics and preferences for purchasing "Sunpride" Cavendish bananas at Lotte Mart Pakuwon Mall Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative with primary data collection through questionnaires and interviews with 100 respondents, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and the Fishbein multi-attribute technique covering seven attributes (color, taste, price, size, freshness, number of bananas per bunch and type of banana). The results show that the majority of consumers are women, productive age 20-43 years, have a bachelor's degree, are self-employed, and have a high income. The most considered banana attribute is freshness (Ao= 3.42), followed by sweetness (Ao= 2.80) and yellowish-green color (Ao= 2.70), while price, type, and size are secondary considerations. This indicates that consumers prioritize fruit quality over attributes such as price. This research provides input for the company and Lotte Mart to maintain product quality, especially freshness, taste, and color, and adjust offerings according to consumer needs to maintain loyalty.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rantai pasok kopi robusta di Kecamatan Puspo, Kabupaten Pasuruan, menghadapi ketidakpastian pasokan akibat kerja sama yang tidak tertulis antara petani dan industri. Kondisi ini menghambat kelancaran aliran produk dan informasi sehingga menurunkan efisiensi pemasaran. Kecamatan Puspo merupakan salah satu sentra produksi kopi robusta dengan rantai pasok yang terintegrasi dari hulu hingga hilir, melibatkan berbagai pelaku, termasuk Industri Kopi Gondosuli dan Industri Kopi Ndeso sebagai pelaku utama dalam pengolahan dan pemasaran kopi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik simple random sampling terhadap 38 petani yang ditentukan berdasarkan rumus Slovin, serta purposive sampling untuk informan lain seperti pemilik industri, tengkulak, pengecer, dan konsumen, sehingga total responden berjumlah 44 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Saluran I efisien dengan margin pemasaran 30,56% dan farmer’s share 69,44%, sedangkan Saluran II tidak efisien dengan margin 86,67% dan farmer’s share 13,3%. Efisiensi pemasaran dipengaruhi oleh panjang saluran, kelancaran aliran produk, dan pertukaran informasi antar pelaku rantai pasok. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran baru mengenai kondisi efisiensi pemasaran kopi robusta di Kecamatan Puspo serta menjadi acuan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi dan kesejahteraan petani di wilayah tersebut. Kata Kunci : Kopi Robusta, Efisiensi Pemasaran, Rantai Pasok ABSTRACT The robusta coffee supply chain in Puspo District, Pasuruan Regency, faces supply uncertainty due to informal cooperation between farmers and industries. This condition hinders the flow of products and information, reducing marketing efficiency. Puspo District is one of the main centers of robusta coffee production with an integrated supply chain from upstream to downstream, involving various actors, including Gondosuli Coffee Industry and Ndeso Coffee Industry as the main processors and marketers. This study applies a quantitative approach using a simple random sampling technique involving 38 farmers determined by the Slovin formula, and purposive sampling for other informants such as industry owners, middlemen, retailers, and consumers, totaling 44 respondents. The results show that Channel I is efficient with a marketing margin of 30.56% and a farmer’s share of 69.44%, while Channel II is inefficient with a margin of 86.67% and a farmer’s share of 13.3%. Marketing efficiency is influenced by channel length, product flow, and information exchange among supply chain actors. This study provides new insights into the efficiency of robusta coffee marketing in Puspo District and serves as a reference to improve distribution efficiency and farmers’ welfare in the region. Abstract

Pakan merupakan komponen biaya terbesar dalam budidaya ikan patin, sehingga manajemen pakan yang tepat sangat menentukan tingkat keuntungan usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pembudidaya ikan patin di Desa Guci, Kecamatan Karanggeneng, Kabupaten Lamongan mengenai manajemen pakan yang efisien. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi tatap muka, diskusi interaktif, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pembudidaya tentang perhitungan kebutuhan pakan berdasarkan biomassa, frekuensi pemberian pakan, serta keuntungan penggunaan pakan apung. Dengan demikian, sosialisasi ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan budidaya ikan patin dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
