Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are business activities carried out by individuals or groups that aim to prosper individuals and groups. The KKN-T team identified that one of the problems lies in the lack of branding on the products being marketed, one of which is the problem of rebranding the MSMEs Kitchen 68 logo, namely not having knowledge about branding, not having a good entrepreneurial spirit and what is no less important is still not getting assistance related to technical strategy. branding for MSMEs. The purpose of branding is to introduce a product or to the wider community, build public trust in a product, and to form public perceptions of a product being sold. The function of branding is as a means of instilling a positive image in the minds of consumers, so that it needs to be understood by MSMEs actors. The method used in this activity is to use the mentoring method. The steps taken include observation, mentoring and logo creation. Based on the problems described above, it is therefore very important for community service activities to be carried out for MSMEs Kitchen 68 actors in Klampis Ngasem Village, Surabaya in re-branding the logo.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan partisipasi aktif masyarakat Desa Jemundo, Kecamatan Taman. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan budidaya menggunakan teknik hidroponik, memungkinkan masyarakat untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dalam pertanian berkelanjutan. Pemberdayaan masyarakat desa memiliki tujuan untuk memperkuat desa bertujuan untuk mendorong partisipasi yang efektif dalam pembangunan desa, merumuskan rencana pembangunan yang mengutamakan masyarakat miskin, serta meningkatkan keterampilan dan kualitas sumber daya manusia di desa. Masyarakat diberikan edukasi mengenai teori dasar hidroponik, manajemen nutrisi pada tanaman, pemilihan tanaman yang tepat, dan metode irigasi. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan hidroponik sederhana memberi pengaruh baik untuk masyarakat Desa Jemundo menurut hasil penelitian yang dilakukan. Masyarakat dapat secara mandiri menerapkan budidaya hidroponik sederhana, meningkatkan hasil panen, serta mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap curah hujan dan kualitas tanah yang buruk. Kelebihan dan fleksibilitas pemberdayaan dengan hidroponik sederhana memiliki pengaruh terhadap perekonomian yang stabil. Hidroponik diterapkan sebagai sumber daya tambahan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi pribadi dan untuk pemasukan tambahan melalui penjualan dari hasil panen. Pada bidang pertanian, hidroponik sederhana tergolong teknologi pertanian modern yang dibuat dengan tujuan menaikkan pasokan pangan lokal, meminimalkan pencemaran lingkungan, serta memajukan kemakmuran perekonomian masyarakat.

Abstract

The current competition of the coffee industry makes product attributes and preferences a very important part to be noticed by entrepreneurs as it can be easier to provide what is consumer needs. The study aims to identify consumer characteristics, analyze attributes and levels of interest that are consumer preferences in the purchase of coffee drinks at Starbucks Suncity Mall Sidoarjo. The methods chosen for sampling were accidental samplings, with a total of 100 respondents. In this study, descriptive analysis is used to identify consumer characteristics, while conjoint analysis is applied to differentiate product attributes and the degree of importance to Starbucks coffee drink purchases. Research results showed that most buyers were women aged 17 to 27 with a final background of high school education or equivalent, a job as a student or university student, and have a monthly income of less than Rp 1,000,000. From the preference side, the attributes most attracting consumer attention are the sweet taste of coffee, the price of less than Rp 55,000, promo buy one get one on a particular event, a variety of coffee drinks, getting free items in a condiment bar, the design of a comfortable and attractive place, and easy packaging. Whereas the level of importance of attributes is taste, price, discount, elegance, facilities, packaging, and service.

Abstract

Rice harvesting is an activity aimed at obtaining rice grains from the planting process over a certain period until the crop reaches a specified level of maturity. During harvesting, the use of a combine harvester is highly recommended, as it not only increases harvesting efficiency and minimizes grain loss, but also expands the harvest area and improves the agroecosystem conditions. The purpose of this study is to analyze various factors in rice production and the technical and economic efficiency of using combine harvesters compared to traditional methods (non-combine harvester) in the rice harvesting process. The research was conducted in Bareng Village, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro Regency, using a quantitative method. The sample consisted of 100 farmers, 50 of whom used combine harvesters and 50 who did not. The results showed that farmers who used combine harvesters significantly increased both technical and economic efficiency compared to traditional methods. The largest influences on production were land size, pesticide use, and the number of workers. The R/C ratio indicated higher economic efficiency among farmers using combine harvesters, with an R/C ratio of 2.22 compared to 1.65 for traditional methods. The findings of this study prove that the use of modern technology, such as combine harvesters, can increase productivity and profitability for farmers.

Abstract

The study was quantitative research to analyze the influence of the role performance of agricultural extension and land on rice production with the location in Cangkringsari Village, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency. A simple random sample does the sampling method with the criteria of the farmer's land. The number of sample farmers was 55 people. The study utilized SEM-PLS supported by the SmartPLS 4.0 program. The findings indicated the significance of agricultural extension workers' role obtained a T-statistic value of 2.103 or P-values of 0.018 and a path coefficient value of 0.207, which emphasized that the role of agricultural extension workers had a positive and significant influence on rice production, the performance of agricultural extension workers with a T-statistic value of 3.950 or P-values of 0, 000 and the path coefficient value of 0.518 which emphasizes that the performance of agricultural extension workers has a positive and significant influence on rice production. Land obtained a T-statistic value of 2.176 or P-value of 0.015 and a path coefficient value of 0.262, which means land has a positive and significant influence on rice production.

Abstract

Minapadi merupakan salah satu cara budidaya yang memadukan antara usaha pertanian dan perikanan. Budidaya minapadi berpotensi meningkatkan produktivitas lahan, kesejahteraan petani serta mendukung ketahanan pangan. Desa Pandan Ajeng, Kecamatan Tumpang merupakan salah satu wilayah di Kabupaten Malang yang memiliki potensi besar untuk pengembangan sistem minapadi. Wilayah ini memiliki kondisi agroekologi yang sesuai, dengan ketersediaan sumber daya air yang memadai dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak dalam pengembangannya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan usahatani minapadi di Kecamatan Tumpang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pandan Ajeng, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2024. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua dan sekretaris kelompok tani, penyuluh pertanian, penyuluh perikanan dan kepala desa. Pihak-pihak ini merupakan informan kunci yang mengetahui pengelolaan minapadi. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT dan QSPM. Analisis kondisi internal dan eksternal dilakukan dengan metode wawancara terstruktur dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kelompok Tani Mina Subur Makmur berada pada kuadran strategi pertumbuhan agresif (Growth Oriented Strategy) dan perusahaan menerapkan strategi S-O (Strength-Opportunity) yang terdiri atas tiga strategi yaitu memperluas areal tanam mina padi, meningkatkan mutu beras dan ikan nila dalam rangka memperluas pangsa pasar, mengoptimalkan produksi padi dan ikan nila. Setelah dilakukan analisis QSPM ditemukan rekomendasi alternatif strategi prioritas adalah memperluas areal tanam minapadi. Peluasan areal tanam padi diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan jumlah produksi yang dihasilkan serta mampu memenuhi permintaan beras dan ikan yang semakin meningkat agar mendorong meningkatnya pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani.

Abstract

The more packaged cooking oil products that are spread and available in the market, it is not certain that there will be cooking oil products that suit the wishes and preferences of consumers. This study aims to identify consumer characteristics, determine what attributes are consumer preferences, and determine the order of attributes based on the importance of packaged cooking oil in Gota Minimarket Surabaya. The method of determining the sample using accidental sampling with a total of 100 respondents. The analytical method uses descriptive analysis for the first objective and conjoint analysis for the second and third objectives. The results showed that consumers of packaged cooking oil were dominated by women, aged 39 - 49 years, last high school education, type of work as private employee, monthly income of IDR 2,000,000 – IDR 4,000,000, monthly expenditure of IDR 2,000,000 – Rp.4,000,000, the number of family members is four, the purchase intensity is not certain, and the number of purchases is two pcs. Packaged cooking oil that is the preference of consumers at Gota Minimarket Surabaya is Sunco brand cooking oil, plastic/refill packaging, two liter size, clear clarity, golden yellow color, >1 year expiration date, complete nutritional information, as well as print media promotion. Then the order of attributes based on the level of importance of packaged cooking oil in Gota Minimarket is brand, clarity, packaging, size, color, promotion, nutritional information, expiration date.

Abstract

Budidaya ikan lele organik pada Kelompok Tani "Tani Manunggal" Desa Tambakrejo Kecamatan Gurah Kabupaten Kediri dilakukan oleh masyarakat secara mandiri. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi masyarakat adalah kurangnya lahan dan tumbuhnya ikan lele di kolam tanah. Oleh karena itu, cara beternak ikan lele organik yang mudah adalah dengan menggunakan kolam terpal. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat mengusulkan upaya pemberdayaan petani kelompok dengan tujuan memperoleh budidaya ikan lele organik di kolam terpal. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui diskusi, penyuluhan, pelatihan dan evaluasi langsung dengan para peternak ikan lele organik. Hasil sosialisasi mengenai pemanfaatan kolam tertutup telah diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat Desa Tambakrejo Kecamatan Gurah Kabupaten Kediri, tanpa kendala dan sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan, dimana respon dan antusiasme para petani kelompok “Tani Manunggal” mereka sangat positif. Budidaya lele organik dengan sistem terpal merupakan suatu sistem pemanfaatan lahan yang terbatas untuk menghasilkan pendapatan tambahan di samping pekerjaan utama sebagai pembantu, petani, dan lain sebagainya

Abstract

This study aims to identify risks and identify risk management strategies in each business process chain at PD. Surya Slaughterhouse. Data analysis in this study used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study research technique. The analytical tool used in this study was the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach. Data collection was carried out through surveys, interviews, and expert questionnaires. The results showed that from 6 business process chains, 26 risk events and 25 risk sources were identified, of which 10 risk sources were prioritized to be addressed first, and 7 of the 12 most appropriate mitigation actions were selected to address the priority risks. Possible mitigation actions include: providing safety stock, operational cost efficiency, sanitation training and health protocols, and strict supervision of work facilities. These findings highlight the vulnerability of the supply chain to pandemic shocks.Keywords: Beef, Risk, Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Risk Mitigation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) Factors that affect the income of fishing households, and (2) factors that affect the expenditure of fishing households, and to analyze them, (3) The possibility of poverty caused by factors that affect poverty among fishing communities in Jangkar District, Situbondo Regency. The samples collected in this study were fishing communities using random sampling. The results of the study showed that (1) the characteristics of fishermen were 42.39% of fishermen aged between 41 and 50 years, while the majority of fishermen's education level was at elementary school (SD) level, which was 35.64%. Based on fishing experience, around 36.9% were aged between 21 and 30 years, and the number of fishing families was 51.80%, with the majority consisting of 3 people or less. While the employment status of fishermen was around 43.76%, (2) factors that affect fishing income are education, fishing experience, and fishing boat engines, (3) factors that affect fishing household expenditure are the number of family members. (4) Factors that influence the risk of poverty in fishermen are the age of fishermen, education, and experience. The aging of fishermen increases the risk of poverty, but training and experience at sea. The increasing age of fishermen will increase the chances of poverty, but increasing the education factor of fishermen and experience in working as fishermen will reduce the level of poverty in fishermen's households.
