Abstract

This study aims to produce a android-based mobile learning media with character. The research method is a research and development method with a 4D design which is limited to Define, Design, and Develop. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII of Public Junior High School 10 Sungai Kakap as many as 14 students. The instruments were validation sheets, questionnaires of teacher and student and posttest questions. Learning media is said to be valid, practical and effective if the percentage is above 60%. Based on the results of the research, it is found that the android-based mobile learning media is valid, practical and effective. The validation of it has a validity level of 90.53% with very valid criteria, while the practicality level of learning media is 90.16%. with very practical criteria, and the effectiveness of learning media is 85.71% with very effective criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this research, to see the difference between the model of Missouri Mathematics Project learning and conventional learning on mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of students' self-confidence. The method used in this research is an experimental with kind of a Quasi-Experimental, and the research design is a 2x3 factorial design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak consist of four classes, with class XI MIPA III and XI MIPA IV samples selected by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Based on the analysis of variance of two paths with unequal cells it is concluded that: 1) The Missouri Mathematics Project learning model provides better mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to conventional learning in the matrix material. 2) Students who have high, medium and low self-confidence have no difference in the ability to solve mathematical problems in the matrix material. 3) In each learning model, students with high, medium and low self-confidence do not provide differences in mathematical problem solving between self -confidence found in themselves. 4) At each level of students' self-confidence, the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model provides better mathematical problem-solving skills than conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) berorientasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D (four-D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Teluk Keramat dengan jumlah 14 siswa. Validitas produk diperoleh melalui uji oleh validator, kepraktisan diperoleh melalui angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa terhadap Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sedangkan keefektifan diperoleh melalui hasil belajar siswa terhadap Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kevalidan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sebesar 82,74% dengan kriteria sangat valid, skor rata-rata kepraktisan dari hasil angket respon guru dan siswa sebesar 84,23% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, sedangkan nilai rata-rata keefektifan sebesar 71,43% dengan kriteria efektif.Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar kerja siswa (LKS), Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis didactical obstacle pada siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal deret geometri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualiatif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik pengkuran, teknik komunkasi langsung dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan alat pengumpul data yaitu tes, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah validasi dengan langkah-langkah analisis siuasi didaktis, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Putussibau yang berjumlah 22 siswa dan diambil 5 orang siswa yang mengalami kesulitan atau hambatan belajar berdasarkan hasil tes untuk penentuan subjek penelitian yang akan diwawancarai. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki hambatan belajar yaitu hambatan didaktis. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh pemahaman siswa yang masih rendah, faktor penyebabnya adalah situasi didaktis dan sajian materi didalam buku teks

Abstract

Penggunaan LKM cenderung sudah mulai dilakukan pada masa pandemic ini, hanya saja perlu adanya inovasi dari LKM yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran. LKM ELektronik dan memiliki muatan budaya lokal dengan penyajian menggunakan Bahasa internasional, yaitu Bahasa inggris menjadi inovasi baru pada pendidikan matematika. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan agar menghasilkan LKM Elektronik bermuatan Etnomatematika pada pakaian adat Dayak iban dan Bahasa Inggris yang layak digunakan. Metode dalam penelitian ini yang digunakan merupakan model penelitian pengembangan dari  Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan teknik komunikasi tak langsung yaitu lembar validasi dan angket, dan teknik pengukuran, yaitu tes. Hasil penelitian LKM elektronik bermuatan etnomatematika dan bahasa inggris mencapai skor 83, 61% pada penilaian sebagai media dan 82,47% pada penilaian materi sehingga kriteria dinyatakan sangat valid; LKM elektronik bermuatan etnomatematika dan bahasa inggris mencapai persentase 83% kriteria sangat praktis; LKM elektronik bermuatan etnomatematika mencapai 75% mahasiswa yang memiliki nilai minimal baik, sehingga terkategori efektif.The use of LKM tends to have started during this pandemic, it's just that there needs to be innovation from LKM that will be used in learning. LKM electronic and has local cultural content with a presentation using international language, namely English, is an innovation in mathematics education. The purpose of this research is to produce an Electronic LKM containing ethnomathematics on Dayak Iban's traditional clothes and English that are suitable for use. The research method used is Borg and Gall's development research. Data collection techniques use indirect communication techniques, namely validation sheets and questionnaires, and measurement techniques, namely tests. The results of the electronic MFI research containing ethnomathematics and English reached a score of 83, 61% on the assessment as a medium and 82.47% on the assessment of the material so the criteria were declared very valid; Electronic LKM containing ethnomathematics and English reaches a percentage of 83% very practical criteria; Electronic LKM containing ethnomathematics reaches 75% of students who have a good minimum score, so they are categorized as effective.

Abstract

Pembahasan ini untuk mengetahui hasil dari LKPD berbasis Scientific Approach terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematik pada materi operasi pecahan di kelas VII MTS AL-Mujatahid yang sesuai dengan tahap kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan. Pembahasan ini menerapkan bentuk rancangan pengembangan ADDIE, yang memiliki 5 tahapan pokok, yaitu analysis (Analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), Implementation (penerapan), Evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek pada pembahasan ini yaitu siswa kelas VII MTS AL-Mujtahid sebanyak 14 orang siswa. Dalam pembahasan ini instrumen yang diterapkan merupakan lembar validasi, angket, dan soal pretest posttest. Hasil penelitian yang pertama adalah validasi LKPD yang berarti nilai rata-rata atas ke-3 ahli senilai 89,33% sesuai kriteria sangat valid. Kedua yaitu nilai kepraktisan, berdasarkan pandangan melalui nilai angket yang diisi guru & siswa yang di akumulasikan hingga mencapai presentase senilai 92% sesuai kriteria sangat praktis. Kemudian keefektifan, diperiksa melalui hasil uji statistic inferensial menggunakan pretest dan posttest siswa sesuai hasil uji-t yaitu thitung < - ttabel signifikan Ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa dan kemampuan koneksi matematik, hingga LKPD di kategorikan efektif. Oleh sebab itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD yang berbasis Scientific Approach terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematik pada materi operasi pecahan di kelas VII MTS tergolong valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan makna filosofis alat-alat tradisional dayak tabun sebagai konteks pembelajaran pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya lokal. Budaa lokal disini adalah sebagai konteks pembangun karakter kedaerahan, yang dimana perpaduan filosofis kebudayaan daerah dipadukan dengan pendidikan karakter. Tradisi berubah ketika orang memberikan perhatian khusus pada fragmen tradisi tertentu dan mengabaikan fragmen yang lain. Dengan memaknai kajian kedaerahan di harapkan dapat menambah warna dalam pendidikan menjadi tidak hanya memfokuskan pada kajian nasional, akan tetapi dengan memaknai kajian filosofis pada alat-alat tradisional, penggunaaan alat, bahan alat dan cara menggunakan yang memiliki filosofis khusus untuk menjadi pengembang dan penguat cinta budaya daerah yang bisa di aplikasikan dalam konteks pembelajaran pendidikan karakter yang berbasis budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tehnik observasi, tehnik komunikasi langsung dalam penerapannya. Sedangkan untuk keperluan pengolahan data menggunakan Tehnik komunikasi langsung yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap tokoh masyarakat Dayak Tabun, diantaranya kepada pembuat, pengguna, dan pemangku adat.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts by applying augmented reality-based flat-sided wake-up cards media at SMP 10 Sungai Kakap. Experimental research with a quantitative approach was chosen as the method in this study. The instrument used was a description test in the form of pre-test and post-test with a population of 8th graders at SMP 10 Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan which consisted of 2 classes. The research subjects were students of grade 8 B which consisted of 30 students who were selected by cluster random sampling. The data were analyzed using the paired data class t-test. The results showed that students' understanding of mathematical concepts increased after applying mathematics learning using augmented reality-based flat space card media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe ethnomathematics on Dayak Tabun traditional tools in school mathematics learning. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive research methods. Observation techniques are direct observation and communication techniques, namely interviews with Dayak Tabun community leaders, especially makers, users, and traditional stakeholders. the results of the research obtained are: 1) form, learning context in geometric concepts, namely flat and wake up space; 2) aspects of the motive, the learning context in the geometry concepts, like are two-dimensional, lines, and angles, besides that the algebraic concept is a number pattern in the form of a constant sequence; 3) the way of making, the learning context in the algebraic concept of numbers, namely fractions in dividing the material into two parts, calculating operations especially on natural numbers, sequential numbers through measurement of materials; 4) in terms of the use of tools, the context of calculating operating learning is the tool used in the dance, namely the tapping of movements and elevation angles in trigonometric material, namely the use of a Sangkuh Akai tool. Therefore, ethnomathematics on traditional Dayak Tabun ethnic instruments can be used as the context of school mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the comparison of Inquiry and Problem Based Learning learning models on critical thinking skills in terms of students' learning interests. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Sandai. This research was a quantitative experiment with the type of quasi-experimental design (quasi-experimental) research. The design of this study followed the research paradigm flow of Randomized Only Control Group Design where the subjects taken were grouped into two groups, namely experiment I and experimental group II. In this study, the samples were VIII grade students consisting of VIII A and VIII B classes. Experimental class 1, VIII A consisted of 30 students and experimental class 2, VIII B consisted of 30 students. The data collection tools used in this study were response questionnaires and tests of critical thinking skills in the form of essay questions. The results of the analysis of variance of the two cell paths are not the same indicating that there are differences in critical thinking skills between students with high, medium and low interest in learning. Based on the post-anava test with the Scheffe method, the value of F_(.1-.2) = 0.7374; F_(.1-.3) = 6.7540; F_(.2-.3) = 1.4279; DK = {F│F<3.168}. From the results of the calculation of the two-way analysis of variance with unequal cells, the value of F_ab=1.576<F_(0.05;2;54)=3.16 means that H_0AB is accepted so that there is no interaction between the learning model and learning interest on students' critical thinking skills.
